Great modern close option for Fish market and Castle Gardenconvenient ”
Found this place to be both convenient for local Kanazawa sites and about a 10min walk from the JR station. Very new and clean just next to the Fish Markets.

Nice Hotel, Great sightseeing location”
We found the Hotel Resol Trinity in Kanazawa very comfortable and most importantly convenient for sightseeing in this wonderfully historic city. Our room was adequate, nicely decorated and comfortable, for 6 nights there was little provision for hanging clothes and no drawers for unpacking. We found a single desk chair inconvenient for two people in the room. Location however is ideal in this city. A 20-min walk, with luggage, from the rail station, the hotel is across the street (1-block) from the famed Omicho Market (dozens of fresh fish mongers). One day bus pass, $5/day, are available downstairs directly across the street from the Market entry. [Local guides tend to lead you astray as to the location of the information/bus ticket office.] Great restaurants within walking distance. Hotel restaurant OK for lunch. We enjoyed our week in Kanazawa and found the Hotel Resol to be a good base for sightseeing. Would chose it again if revisiting, or to friends with these reservations.

Clean and friendly ,great location”
I read previous reviews and decided to stay at Hottel Resol Trinity Kanazawa. The reviews praised everything about the hotel but also commented that the hotel personnel spoke zero English. I worreid a little bit about that as I speak zero Japanese (although I can read and guess a little bit). To my pleasant surprise, I found now the hotel does have a couple of staff at the front desk speaking English. Although they are not native English speakers, I found their English ability is enough for my needs. One of the nice people even helped me to make a reservation for a visit to the Myoryoji (sp?) temple. Very friendly service. I highly recommend it.

Excellent hotel”
Hotel Resol Trinity Kanazawa was very clean, the staff was very helpful, and the location was quite good. If you're looking for a good place to stay in Kanazawa which is close to the station and within walking distance to the majority of the things in Kanazawa, look no further, because you have found what you were looking for.

Central as central gets.”
This was hotel 2/5 on our 15 day vacation of japan. It was our personal number 2, in a close tie. The resol won out in a close run for 2nd mainly on design of the room, allowing for a kingsize bed accessible from both sides. It is also well located near the central fish market, pretty much equidistant from the Geisha district and the castle park. Food offering at the hotel is minimal, but there's a lot of local options. The room is well appointed, and doesn't overlook the main road, so noise pollution was a minimum. An easy recommendation if you find yourself in Kanazawa.

Kanazawa by foot”
This is a wonderful hotel to stay in, when exploring Kanazawa. The railway station Kanazawa is about 5-10 mins by foot, the wonderful Oyama Shrine takes 3-5 mins. Right behind it starts the path to the castle ruins and next to it is the magnificent Kenroku-Garden - deemed one of the three most beautiful gardens in Japan which I would definitely concur to! There are various buses running from right infront of the hotel, as well as the JR buses. On the opposite site lies the fish market, the old Geisha district east of the Asano-river is a little further away, but you can reach it by walking for about 15 minutes. On the other side of the Sai-river lies the temple district, which is about the same distance, yet another direction. The modern, beautiful rooms are for Japanese standard quite spacious and when you reach the lobby you can relax with a cup of various hot or cold teas at any time. I will visit Kanazawa again some day and I would very much like to stay at this hotel again.

good value”
This is a good ‘value for money’ hotel for tourists or local business. You should get a room for less than $US100. The room was small but with some organisation we found it fine for two nights. If you are in Kanazawa as a tourist then it is likely to be a one or two night stop. It is walking distance to Kanazawa Castle grounds and Kenrokuen Garden as well as the old town. It is 200m to the food market and a Dept Store. On the basement level, the Dept Store had an amazing food section. We did not find too many restaurants nearby. We ate one evening at the hotel restaurant; it was Italian and fine. It is too far to walk from the station with bags but a taxi is only $US7. As Kanazawa is a smaller city we found the location preferable to the train station area

Highly recommended”
We had a lovely stay here. The room was on a high floor, quiet. It had everything one could ask for. Clean and spacious. Different phone chargers, air freshener, toiletries, tub and shower, bath salts, robes, nice room slippers (unlike the usual one time use ones). Bed and pillows were comfortable. Location was good as well. About 10-15 mins from Kanazawa Station, 3-5 mins from Omicho Market. We also walked to Kanazawa Castle and Kenrokuen. Staff were friendly. Will definitely stay here again. Thank you.

Modern, chic hotel in great location”
Loved this hotel, staff were great, the room was spacious by Japanese standards and loved the attention to detail like shisheido bath products. Could not fault this place, would have been perfect if they had wifi but the free Internet computer in the business lounge was adequate also. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Kanazawa.

A taste of luxury at a budget price”
Our stay was comfortable and relaxing the hotel was more luxurious than we had imagined and it's convenient location made it a good base for exploring, particularly as it was very wet while we were in Kanazawa. The staff were attentive. We had our bags delivered to the hotel and they were in our room by the time we arrived. It was very convenient!

One of the best hotel experience in Japan.”
It is a bit far away from Kanazawa JR station yet it is close to the commercial streets with restaurants and convenient stores. The hotel is nicely decorated, especially the lobby. The room is neat and tidy and quite spacious, which is totally out of my expectation. The pay-per-use washing machine is also available 24/7 and it is very convenient for us. Definitely an unforgettable stay and would like to visit again soon.

Nice and convenient hotel”
It is a good half hour walk from Kanazawa JR Station, but we took it easy and actually enjoyed our walk to/from the station along main streets. The hotel itself is modern and nicely built, with standard-sized rooms for Japan. The staff was helpful but we missed an adaptor for our electronics, which other hotels didn't have a problem providing. Overall, a good value for the cost, and the location is excellent, near Kanazawa castle, Kenrokuen garden and the samurai district.

A good budget friendly hotel near Omicho Market”
The location is just opposites of the Omicho Market. The room itself is clean, and the size is just enough. All amenities are great, maybe the hotel could add shower cap as the amenities as well. Even though the reception is a little bit unfriendly (no smile at all) but he was quite helpful. He let us drop the baggage at the hotel. I wouldn’t mind to stay here again in my next trip to kanazawa

Full option budget hotel”
The hotel isnt far from Kanazawa loop bus stop as well as the Omicho seafood market and combi. If the hotel is a budget hotel, I’d say it’s a full-option one. Room is big enough, clean, quiet, and has full range of amenities. Highly recommended.

Good business hotel in central location”
We stayed two nights in this hotel in Kanazawa. The location is pretty good, though it is in the middle of the central business district which is somewhat lacking in nightlife and bustle on the weekends. When we arrived in Feb, there had clearly been a big snowfall overnight, which had been transformed into slush. This made the walk from the station something of an effort. The hotel is a better than average business hotel, with a good fitout and nice, clean modern rooms. One plus is the attached Italian restuarant which, despite lacking English speaking service staff, served up a great meal at a reasonable price.
