Read Carefully !”

Location. Staff. Ambience

Direction : once out from Santa Lucia Train Station on your left in front of you is where the "Ferrovia Landing stage (Water bus stop)" located . You must buy the tourist ticket for easy access around Venixe, you can choose to buy 24,36,72 hour or even 7 days depend on the length of your stay . Once you gotten your ticket, lookout for vaporetto no.2 heading towards Rialto, it is easily found just go to the right side entrance of the landing stage and It is only 2 stop away !! YES thats how close it is, and to make it even better once you reach Rialto Stop , on your left hand side just 1 building away(10 second walk) you are in Hotel Rialto ! That literally explain how convenient this hotel is locale even when you carry huge luggage it is so Centrale so convenient to find . The room wise is decent, with a touch of Old Venice furniture which is lovely and Please take note the Lift only service to Level 1 , so if you carry heavy luggage do reccomend you to ask for a room at level 1 . Breakfast spread is adequate, cappucino is especially good, for the price you pay and this best location ! You cant ask any more out of it ! Bravo Rialto . I'll come back to you Grazie to the reception whixh is always so warm and friendly throughout my 3 day stay . Hope you find this helpful . Ciao

A room with a view!”

Ahh Venice! Rialto Hotel is the prefect location to stay when visiting Venice for the first time or the next. The hotel is halfway along the main canal and it's walking distance to St. Mark's Square and anywhere else you may want to go see. They have complementary breakfast each morning for their guests too. Everything is close, grocery store, restaurants, ATM and ticket counters for the various transportations Venice has to offer is just right outside the door. Restaurants are okay, made for tourists, just watch out when they suggest another dish, it's usually much higher than what you first had intended to pay. Don't order steak in Europe, it's just not worth it, that's something they can't cook right. We tried in many cities (my husband doesn't like pasta), just go back home for a good steak dinner. We love Venice and we would highly recommend the Rialto Hotel at the Rialto Bridge.

Charming hotel in great location at Rialto bridge”

Location, breakfast, outdoor terrace

Stayed for 2 nights in Venice with my wife on honeymoon in August. Hotel reception was very nice, and they sent us a free bottle of champagne. Location of the hotel is great, only a few water-taxi stops away from Ferrovia train station, as we took the train from Milan. Accidentally booked the canal view room for 1 night only, and only booked a standard room for the 2nd night (messed up on Agoda). So unfortunately due to summer traffic was unable to keep the nice canal view room our 2nd night. There is a nice outdoor terrace on the second floor of the hotel for guest overlooking the river. Rialto bridge is close to everything, San Marco square, gondola stations, ferry to Murano/Burano, Rialto Mercato, but can be a bit overrun with tourists. The breakfast in the morning is fantastic, with lots of fruits and pastry selections. Decor inside the room is a bit old fashioned but very nice with a baby blue finish for wallpaper, and beddings. Would stay here again.

Good location ”

I thought this hotel was amazing, our room was great considering there were three of us in one room. Not only was it in the center of the city, with Rialto Bridge greeting you right as you exit reception, but it's within minute s of Piazza San Marco. The staff were not only kind but extremely helpful and polite and the hotel offers a beautiful view of the city. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, especially families, and if I visit Venice again I will definitely be returning back to this hotel.

Right opposite the Rialto bridge and San Marco is a 10 min walk from the hotel! Check-in was fast and seamless. Clean room and tastefully decorated. Decent service and breakfast spread. Average wifi connection & baggage drop-off available. It was a pleasant stay in beautiful Venice, thank you. :)

Location, location”

Location was key (and quite frankly, everything) to us. Hotel Rialto had that and more. Location was right along the Grand Canal so easy access to local boats and, in particular, the Aliguina line (sp?) for us to get to/from airport at only 15 EU. Take the time to visit and sit on the Panoramic Terrance. It has an amazing view of the Rialto Bridge. It was easy to grab some wine and a snack and relax and watch the pedestrian and boat traffic. Great staff from check-in to check-out. The hotel itself is definitely quirky and was not cookie cutter to get to/from certain parts of the hotel. That's what made it fun though. Breakfast was of a wide variety/selection of foods. Breakfast hours began at 7 a.m. to eat indoors and 7:30 to eat outdoors. Would definitely stay at the Hotel Rialto again when in Venice.

Great location”

This hotel is so convenient. When we arrived by ferry, it was a few steps from the Rialto stop. And when we took another ferry to the airport when we left, it was so easy (with big suitcases.) The walk to the San Marco was an easy fifteen minutes with great stops along the way. And then the staff was particularly helpful in finding local trattoria that we liked very much. We had a room in the back/side which was very quiet. So we have no complaints about anything and would stay here again

For us, this hotel was perfect.”

Enormous room, great location, wonderful staff.

The room was spotlessly clean, well appointed, comfortable and huge. The location next to Rialto Bridge was handy to lots of restaurants, bars, cafes, shops, markets etc. Waterbus to anywhere in Venice at the front door of the hotel. Not far to walk to most places once you get your bearings. Quiet at night with double glazed windows. We had no trouble getting to sleep. The hotel is a rabbit warren and our room seemed to be miles away from reception, but the staff will carry your luggage and there is an elevator. Reception staff speak English well. They are very professional and are always helpful providing directions etc. I would be happy to stay here again without even looking at other hotels. Breakfast is basic and breakfast room is a tight squeeze, but the food is good (including omelette and bacon).

Lee & SD”

Very happy with the location of the hotel - easy to get to the places in Venice we wanted to go to. There is a ferry stop on Grand Canal just down from the front of the hotel. We walked to St Marks Square in 10 mins from hotel. Plenty of activity around the area due to Rialto Bridge being such a landmark in Venice. Breakfast options were varied and plentiful. They happily catered Gluten free options for us. View from the roof-top terrace was amazing with plenty to see on a warm, balmy night. Could take a bottle of wine or drinks there to enjoy the evening on the outdoor furniture provided. Couple of good gelati bars located nearby for indulging in ice-cream. Staff polite, friendly and most helpful in providing directions and information.

Tiny room with no view, but we booked late and everything else made up for it. ”

This hotel is next to the Rialto bridge which is probably the most strategic hotel location in Venice. Reception staff were very helpful. Nothing too much trouble. Good english. They assist with concert bookings, tours etc. One word of warning, there is only one lift and many rooms are a long way from it, up and down a maze of stairs. We were close to the lift but you may need a bell-boy to assist if you have a lot of luggage. Breakfast choice is good (continental only) and is restocked frequently. Bathroom is modern, clean and everything works. (As always in Italy). Airconditioned rooms. Definitely 4 star. There is a hotel restaurant at the front open to the public but we found it fairly average. There is also a bar open to the public too but the price of snacks there was extortionate (Euro 6 for a tiny piece of strawberry torte?)

Lovely hotel”

Hotel Rialto is a lovely little hotel in a perfect location. I chose it because it was right beside the Rialto bridge. Unfortunately the bridge is undergoing restoration and the side that faces the hotel is covered over, so no views! But the hotel can't be held responsible for that. You have to accept that along with the plus points of being beside an iconic landmark, comes the traffic of people constantly passing the hotel and the Vaporetta stop right outside which means it can be busy and sometimes noisy. We had a room right over the water bus stop but to be honest, the double glazing cut out any noise and we were never disturbed by it. They have a lovely rooftop terrace which is a great place to sit and watch the world go by. It isn't staffed but you can go up there 24 hours a day. The only downside of the hotel is that it doesn't have a public bar, but they don't mind you bringing your own drinks in and taking them up to the roof terrace. Staff are really friendly and helpful and the place is spotlessly clean. I would definitely recommend it.

7 mins walk to San Marco, vaporetto stop 2 mins walk. If you are lucky to get a Grand Canal facing room you can look onto the famous Rialto Bridge. Rooms are clean and comfortable, well equipped although decore may not be to everyone's taste. Staff were always helpful and pleasant. You have a selection of hot and cold breakfast, not excellent but does the job. There are loads of restaurants and shops near by.

Short walking distance to everything.

The location of the hotel is exceptional. Only ten minutes walk to piazza San Marco. The ferries and taxis are in front of the hotel. The famous realto bridge is just outside and walking outside you can relate to the envoirnment Shakespeare was describing in thre merchant of Venice. The hotel was clean but it was like a maze to getting in the room. The room was very small and had. Owners were you can put your luggage. We had to use the floor to access our luggages.

The Landmark of Venezia -Hotel Rialto”

We both love Hotel Rialto, location is superb -its like a few steps to the vaporetto, a few steps to shops, supermarket, mercato and most of all to sightseeing landmarks like San Marco. It is also walking distance to the vaporetto for the islands. The staff are so helpful, commendable. A possible improvement for the hotel is to upgrade their rooms especially the toilet/bathroom-give more space please...

Best Location in Venice”

Breakfast is served in a terrace right next to the Rialto Bridge and the canal. It doesn’t get better than this. It made our mornings so special. The area is close to Piazza San Marco, you can walk for 10 mins and get there. That’s where the Basilica, the Campanile and the Palazzo Ducale and Bridge of Sighs are, the must see spots. The Rialto Area is a hot turistic spot in itself and you enjoy it every morning. Hotel has gluten free options. There’s great restaurants nearby open until very late. Our room was simple a little bit outdated and small. Internal view. The bathroom was fully renovated and quite spacious by european standards. I would return and recommend it.

Best location!”

Dropped dead center of the action and at one of the most iconic views of Venice, the Rialto Bridge. Enough to do around the area to keep you busy and have an assortment of eats, but also walking distance to the St Mark Square and the boat taxis are just outside to make your arrival and departure simple. The staff was helpful and courteous and we loved the outdoor terrace looking over the grand canal and Rialto Bridge. Amazing!

Perfectly located along the Grand Canal”

location, location and location

Contrary to some reviews, the staff were extra helpful and nice. We got a room at the other end of the building so we had to walk a bit from the lobby. The room was quite spacious and well appointed in Victorian style. Overall, we enjoyed our stay just because of its excellent location. The waterbus station was located in front of the hotel and Piazza de San Marco is just a few minutes walk along the inner alleys of Venice.

Comfortable Quiet Hotel on Canal”

The room was comfortable and clean, on main canal with a water taxi stop out front.

We thought the room was charming. We are not fans of two twin beds pushed together to make a large bed, but that was the only negative. The breakfast was nice. The air conditioning worked great in our heat spell and we were very grateful for that! We bought an water taxi pass so we were able to take a jaunt on a whim with the Rialto water taxi stop out front. There's many cafes open late close by. The biggest pleasure of all was discovering how much art there is to see in Venice!
