Fabulous hotel metro right outside and Gare Du Nord opposite. Lovely bistros next door and in area to sit and people watch. Room had everything we needed including air con

Perfect base for Eurostar Travelers”
Pros - Balcony rooms overlooking street provide interesting views of main road below. Its location directly across from Gare du Nord made Eurostar and Metro access SO easy. Room was very quiet, even though it faced street. Cons - neighborhood itself has some sketchy characters on street and around station plaza, especially at night. But hotel itself is very secure and, if you can get a balcony room, there are always people, traffic, Paris life to watch below.

Decent Hotel”
Very clean and tidy, right at Gare Du Nord. Only a couple of small issues were that the soap at the bathroom sink was never replenished, and there were no cups for tea/coffee. Other than these, this was a very nice stay indeed.

Convenient and worth it”
Don't let the lobby and the halls of this place scare you: the rooms are clean and the bathroom is very neat. Windows are new and close properly. The TV is decent. And most importantly, bed sheets are clean.

The staff were friendly and the location of this hotel are very convenient, the facilities are old so the lift was not very big to carry a lot of baggage and also you do not have keys of your room so each time you left the building you have to gave the keys on reception. But it was a good hotel

The Hotel Richmond offers very basic yet clean and adequate facilities. ”
It is very close to Gare de Nord and is perfect for travellers with an early train to catch. There are many cafes and restaurants close by also. The room was small and could do with a colour repaint however it served the purpose. Was clean and warm and the bathroom had been done up nicely.

The one thing which the best of this hotel is the location. Richmond Hotel is just the opposite of the Main Station.

Convenient economic hotel at Gare du Nord. Helpful staff. Only slight problem was that the breakfast room is in the New Hotel just round the corner but this is less than one minute and was fine. Not sure if this is a temporary arrangement while work takes place.

Great location. Clean room. Newly refurbed shower room. Only downside was woken at 1sm by staff right outside my room moving linen and towels. Had to ask him to keep the noise down.

They changed my room”
As usual, the room didn't match Agoda's description. After initially saying that I was in the right room, they rang me and said they had another room. It had a fantastic view over the station from a little balcony and a huge bathroom with a bathtub. Very glad the hotel were able to make that change.

Stone throw distance to Gare Du Nord, easy access (RER,Metro,Train,Eurostar) .Many restaurants, cafes surrounding the hotel. Room was clean and tidy everyday during my stay. The balcony overlooks Gare du Nord station which is a plus, just love the view.
