Comfortable and value for money”

Hotel Roble is located in a quiet street off the Historic Center only two blocks away from the main cathedral of Mexico. I think it's called Plaza Independencia? I forgot. Location is the best thing about this hotel. With traffic it was only a little over 30 mins by cab from the airport and without 20 mins max and the same way back. When I arrived I paid for the hotel room in full with cash and it cost me 470MXP which is around 40-45AUD. For this amount of money, I got a decent sized room with two double beds, and cable TV in room. Reception spoke very little English but they tried their best which was manageable and much appreciated. During my stay I received an e-mail from Agoda telling me a credit card deduction for my room was needed or else my reservation would be cancelled and I would still be charged. With an e-mail response using my account this was sorted which was impressive. Near the hotel there is a hospital which has a Pharmacy which was useful when I needed Paracesmol although it would really help if you knew some words in Spanish to communicate. It's worth learning a few at least before deciding to come to Mexico City. Also, there are two department stores close by and fashion shopping stores along the main strip. On the way back to the airport just gt reception to arrange for one of the private taxis (not painted or doesn't look like a taxi) to take you. You shouldn't have to pay more than 150mxp.

Great Bargain”

The hotel was just off the zocalo and just a short walk to metro. Rooms were basic, but perfect for us since we weren't going to spend much time in them. Water was provided daily. Bath was always hot. Staff was nice and helped us set up excursions. Restaurant had decent food for those afraid to eat off the street. What I really missed was wi-fi. It was evidently down while we were there, and I had really planned on using it. The wi-fi was a factor in why I chose Roble. I do believe there was a free computer downstairs though if you're only looking to check email occasionally.

Nice quiet good hotel”

Hotel is situated in the center of the city rooms are clean nice and helpful staff restaurant food was okay.When I arrived to hotel was about 11:30am and I could go to my room straight away which I really appreciate because normally check-in is from 15:00 recommended this hotel to everyone

Central and pleasant stay”

Hotel staff were pleasant and helpful, the hotel was clean and good value for money. Location wise was fantastic, easy to get to most places in a taxi for around 100 pesos per trip. A lot of restaurants on the main street and in walking distance from the electronics area. The only thing which bothered me was the strange smell which came from the bathroom i think that's Mexican plumbing though, and it was very noisy, but again that's Mexico City.

Centrally located hotel”

The hotel was nice and easy to check in and check out. The rooom smelled like they are sprayed with pesticide. The wifi doesnt work in some rooms, and they changed the room only in the second day, so as a business traveller I got stuck. The other major problem I had was only one person speaks English, so getting anything including food was a problem. No one at the restaurant spoke english, luckily I did a google map to see dominos in a 3 min walk. Lots of shopping and other restaurants around.

Excellent location for travellers”

This hotel has an excellent location to the Zocalo and all of its attractions. There are good restaurants and bars not too far away or a uber or taxi ride away. The staff are friendly but mainly speak Spanish. A fridge in the rooms would be a good idea but otherwise in rooms are clean and comfortable

Really enjoyed the location here. Smaller room but very close to everything you would want to see. Windows are difficult to lock and the room is pretty small, those would be my only negatives.

El hotel tiene una gran ubicación, las habitaciones son cómodas, y tiene todo lo necesario, con la ventaja de tener un restaurante que te ofrece una carta de alimentos rica y a precios accesibles. Lo único que tengo que reclamar es que no sacaron la basura en los dos dias que me hospede. Pero lo recomiendo

Los recepcionistas mal encarados, da la impresion que estan enojados, entra uno incomodo pensando que les moleste algo de lo que hagamos.

値段の割にはいい部屋”

ソカロのすぐ近くで交通の便もよく、いい立地。 ダブルルームに一人で宿泊したものの、二人はちょっとキツイかな。 壁とドアが薄いせいか、隣の部屋の声がよく聞こえた。でもこの値段なら我慢出来る。 日本人はあまり利用していないのか、外出から帰ってフロントで鍵をもらう時、部屋番号を言わなくても鍵を出してくれた。

食事ができる所が限られる事と、夜は明かりが少ない。 コンビニはそばにある、ホテル併設のレストランがある。 部屋によってはWIFIが繋がらない(フロントでは完璧だが)
