Excellent hotel
Location, room space, renovated rooms
Excellent hotel in a beatable location. Short walking distance from the train station, 10-15min walk to all the major attractions. Stylish and comfortable renovated rooms.

Great location but that's it
Location, everything else was not good
The staff at this hotel was very rude- we traveled to 5 different Italian cities and they were the only hotel who made us wait until the exact moment of check in to access our room. We drove 3 hours to arrive to Florence and then had to wait around for another 2 hours before they allowed us access to our room to change and be able to enjoy the city. The room looks like it hasn't been updated since 1982, blow dryer doesn't work, shower is like a trickle, the breakfast wasn't good at all. The staff wasn't nice at all. Very big disappointment especially for the price...

Too many mosquitoes, bad dining
location, front desk crews, room availability.
Too many mosquitoes! more then 50 mosquitoes in dining area, and nobody care. Quadruple room has no view, and could not open windows because of dirt, mosquitoes, and birds. Food was also bad.

Good location but old-styled room decorations
Convenient location near the train station
we stayed 3 nights in the hotel when we travelled in florence and the villages nearby. the hotel staff was helpful for giving us suggestions on good restaurants and local tour. the room we stayed was spacious but the room decorations were a bit old-styled. yet, we got what we needed in the room. one negative point was that we had to pay extra expenses if we would like to use wifi service.

Great location, lively area
very central - 3 minutes walk to main train, excellent breakfast
There was lots of positive aspects to this hotel: great central location (proximity to Duomo, main train station, Leather markets, shopping, local eateries and attractions), also its history and decor and hearty breakfasts for families with older children. We were there during the post New year holiday and found street noise was quite noticeable in our room (4th floor) at night. All else pretty good!

Convenience location and relatively large room
Close to major railway station and also most of the attractions
The hotel is close to the Florence SMN railway station and most of the major attractions (actually Florence's attractions are quite close together and would be able to be reached by foot). But as my room is on the 1st floor, and the hotel is facing a large plaza, there would be quite noisy as people would stay there until late night. Besides, the room is relatively large in European standard for such level of hotel.

Good hotel
Bath room is not so wide
Very confortable hotel for travel. The hotel is quite near the station and the sightseeing spot. If you use the train for travel, I recommend this hotel so much!
