surprising good hotel”
The main purpose of this trip is Kurokawa onsen and Takachico , so I picked this hotel because it's so convenient that the train and bus station is right where the pick up is. There are several restaurants around the hotels, Aeon mall, Daiso is around also. Hotel room is very clean and tid, staffs are very nice, I booked the room without breakfast, but somehow they gave us for free. The breakfast wasn't anything luxurious, but very homey and tasty. You will enjoy your stay.

A good sleep ”
We were travelling from Kagoshima late and have to take an early flight at Fukuoka. We picked Kumamoto as our mid-way for rest. We checked in very late (close to mid-night) and checked out early (7am). Do not have a chance to tour around or even enjoy the in-house spa. I didn't expect it took 10km to reach hotel after leaving the expressway.
