Wonderful find in Chitose City!”
We stayed in a twin room, which had two semi double beds, so could accommodate two adults and two children, if you're not too fussy on space. there was only one English speaking staffer there during our stay, but we made progress with my broken Japanese and a lot of writing of numbers. The hotel also accepted our Taqbin bags, a delivery service we used to send our bags from Tokyo to Chitose so we didn't have to lug it around ourselves. Staff excellent, included breakfast buffet with a mix of Western and (mostly) Japanese food was awesome (and meant we didn't need lunch during our travels as a bite of most dishes made us very full!). usually a type of egg, meat, potato mochi (was told a specialty of Hokkaido which the whole family loved), Japnese vegetables and macaroni or potato salad, rice, miso soup, canned fruit, orange juice, tea and coffee. Used the onsen on the 14th floor which is small but feels great, and we made use of the relaxation room with its drinks vending machine and massage chair and automatic feet massagers. Less than a five minute walk to the train station with direct connections to the airport and Sapporo, less than five minutes' walk to the local Aeon Mall where we picked up snacks, drinks, omiyage, some amazing sushi bentos, and where my son had a Subway sandwich, Japanese-style in the food court. There's also a Mister Donut and Morimoto's there, with their famous cakes!! Also a sit-down diner, ramen-ya and yakiniku place within a couple of blocks, with a small park near for the kids to unleash a bit of energy at. The hotel was definitely a pleasant surprise as when I booked it, I had never heard of Route Inn before. We found several air crews staying there, and the chain is a partner with the J-League, the Japanese professional soccer league, and we also met members of a professional baseball team staying there. There's free espresso in the lobby at certain times of day for guests, and we decided to take a taxi to Chitose airport on ou

Small room but otherwise 5 stars”
Our flight got in early evening to CTS, so we decided to stay overnight in Chitose before heading to Asahikawa the next morning. This hotel was recommended by a friend, and for some great reasons. Location is great, very close to Chitose station. Their free breakfast is fantastic! Such a great value. They also have furo (Japanese public bath). If you're into that sort of thing, it's great way to unwind and relax. I enjoyed it very much. Better than taking a shower in your own room, imo. They also have a free shuttle service to the airport in the morning, about once an hour. It looks like a lot of flight attendants stay at this hotel, which usually means it's pretty good hotel. They wouldn't stay at some crappy hotel. They only downside to this hotel was that our room was very small. It would be fine for a solo traveler, but even with two people, it will feel small. Maybe they have larger rooms for more money, but we booked the cheapest room. Still a great value.

Great option and value for money which is nearby to Chitose Airport”
I booked this hotel at the very last minute due to the spa hotel at the Chitose Airport was fully occupied. At first I was reluctant to book due it's highly priced for a twin bedroom for a single traveller like me. However, that was the only non-smoking room left. The location from the hotel was only 5mins away from the Chitose Station. The staff could also speak English well. The big plus was the free shuttle to the airport. So, don't forget to enquire and reserve yourself a seat. I would like to give a praise to the driver of the shuttle on 20.8.2018 time depart 0710am (forgot to get his name). He was really friendly and helped me to bring up and down the luggage off the van. It also came with breakfast and it was actually good too and don't forget to make full use of the spa available. Overall it was great package and do not regret so.

Good hotel but not quite near the airport”
I believe it's a good airport hotel as we saw airline crew stay there. However, it's still a ten min cab ride from the airport so not exactly super near as an airport hotel. Also, the free airport shuttle starts only at 0710 so we could not use it as our flight was 0755. Their free breakfast also starts at 0630 which was too late for us as we had to leave. Already. But there was free complimentary coffee machine at the lobby which was nice. It's also a short walk to the Chitose JR station which is two stops away from the airport station. In between Chitose and Airport station is Minami-Chitose which is the JR stop for the Rera Outlet mall. So if you have half a day free and have to stay in chitose, it was a decent place to shop and spend the day there. Wesaw opposite Route Inn, a hotel simply called Airport Hotel. I was informed by a fellow traveller I met who stayed there that their free airport shuttle starts at 0630. But rooms were very small. I might consider staying there next time since its cheaper.

Nice hotel in a strategic location”
The hotel staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are a bit small but very clean. The hotel location is superb, it is 5 mins walk to Chitose JR station, 3 mins to Lawson, 5 mins walk to AEON Mall. If you are driving, free parking is provided. The hotel breakfast is nice and adequate, they open at 6.30 am so you can get a quick meal if you are catching an early flight. There is a free shuttle bus service to New Chitose Airport at 6.30 am and 7.10 am if you are taking an early flight (remember to pre-book early with the hotel reception).

Convenience for the next day flight”
- This is our last hotel before take a flight back. Location is just 5-10 minute from JR Chitose and they provided shuttle bus from the hotel to the airport (both domestic and international zone) which take 15 minutes. The first depart is around 6:20 (don't sure), 7:10, ..... - Breakfast is buffet style with excellent quality of food. It start at 6:30 so that I select 7:10 round for shuttle bus to the airport - About airport : when you arrive at international terminal of New Chitose airport. It's not take time much for check in and security process and the terminal is small so you don't have to take time much at the airport - Public bath is great. It's not big but not small with almost all night open.

Great for early flight!”
Hotel is near the chitose airport. Breakfast starts at 6.30am and it was definitely much needed before my flight. The staffs were professional. One small issue about parking. When i reached the hotel and needed to unload my bags and check in, was first directed to park my car at the multistoried automatic lot. There was some confusion as to whether i should unload first then check in, then park the car etc. And this happened as there was some communication breakdown. Would prefer if there were clear instructions to unload bags first, check in, then park the car. Thanks

Good Location and Services”
You just walk 3 mins from JR Chitose Station to the Hotel (but actually I took triple of time because it's quite difficult to walk in a snowing street with baggage). The location is excellent. The room is also much bigger than average size in Japan. You can open two suitcases same time in the room. An artificial onsen is being placed in the hotel and you enjoy it after a long walk/flight. Scheduled shuttle bus for New Chitose Aiport provided by Hotel. It's an excellent service.

Great Location”
The hotel is just a 5 min walk away from Chitose station. It has (at least) two convenient stores near it and a big Aeon mall in walking distance. It also has complimentary shuttle bus to the airport. It's a great place to bunk in if you're flying early the next day and do not want to worry about public transport to airport. The breakfast might not be phenomenal but it is quite OK and will do its job. The hotel also has an onsen, do make use of it if you like that.

very near Chitose train station, good breakfast”
Hotel is just opposite the Chitose train station, 2 min walk. Room was OK too, though not very new, its clean. There is a public bath (we didn't need to pay extra cost for using), which was good, esp if you like Onsens. Given the budget, we were not expecting much for breakfast, but we were pleasantly surprise at a reasonably good variety of food, jap and western. Had a good meal before checking out.

Good Location and Service.”
Close to Chitose airport and hotel provide free shuttle to airport. Onsen in the hotel. I accidently booked smoking room from Agoda. When we enter the room is full of smoke smell, the staff was so helpful to change to Non-Smoking room for us and also help to carry our luggages. It's an excellent service.

Very impressed”
The room was small but that's typical for any Japanese hotel room. The staff was very nice and helpful. I love that they have public bath that you can soak and get really relaxed. If you need to catch early flight from new Chitose airport it is conveniently located only 2 train stops away.

Clean room, free wifi in room, good breakfast”
We stayed in this hotel for a night 'cos it was only a short drive from there to Chitose Airport. Free underground parking is available but it was raining when we reached and the carpark attendant made us unload our luggages in the rain, though we kept indicating to him that it was raining and whether there was a sheltered unloading area for us but he was so eager for us to unload and for my hubby to drive the car into the car lift. It was only the next morning that we realised there was a sheltered car lobby on the other side of the hotel. Otherwise, the hotel is nicely located just in front of Chitose Station for those without own transport. Room is clean but small. There is onsen if you want one more hot spring dip before leaving Hokkaido. Free wifi is available in the room and buffet breakfast was good.
