Route Inn's across Japan are pretty good, and this was no exception. The fact that it is next to the station gives it four stars!! Everything else - clean, nice staff, etc. put it in 5 star category. If you are in Fukui, this is a great option.

Only had smoking room left, but didn’t really notice it after 30 mins... slightly more spacious than other more expensive hotels. robes are very comfortable!!

Hotel just 2 minutes walk from train station, so convenient. Happy to have onsen in the hotel which was on the floor we stayed in. Loved that. None of the staff speaks English and all the tour brochures were in Japanese. Don't understand why.
