As with the other Hotel Route Inns, it has onsite public bath were you can go and soak the days travels away. No tattoos allowed though. Close to the station with convenience stores nearby. There are other good food options within walking distance as well. Parking available on site with a small fee. Breakfast was great as well.

Staffs are attentive, some can speak simple english. Enjoyed the hot bath, simple japanese breakfast and taste good. Room as per picture, single bed is like semidouble, unlike those small bed.

Lovely hotel at a great location!”
we had a lovely experience here. the rooms are pretty and the staff are just great, nice, friendly and can converse sufficiently well in english. they are very helpful. the hotel is literally across the kushiro station (which is also beside the bus station--which is important because train routes are limited and buses are necessary to travel to other sightseeing destinations) and walking distance to the recommended sightseeing spots in kushiro city (the bridge, the washo market, etc). this hotel is both nice and in a good location. just very happy to have stayed here. the only downside probably is the fact that they do no have wifi in the lobby and the pcs available for use at the lobby were not working or were quite slow when we were there. if you are not bringing a laptop, you can actually rent one, at a reasonable price.

Really good location right next to the train and bus stations, so very easy to use as a base for day trips involving those modes of transport. ("Ekimae" means "in front of the train station" in Japanese). It's even possible to go as far as Nemuro and Cape Nosappu and back in the same day using public transportation, though it's a very early pre-dawn start. Staff speaks pretty good English and had no problem storing our luggage all day on our last day until we came back in the evening from touring to pick it up and head to the airport. If you are flying into or out of Kushiro, be forewarned that the airport is quite a distance outside the city, so leave plenty of time to get there. Taxi from the airport to the hotel is about 5000 yen. The public bus will take you from the airport to the bus depot next to the hotel for just under 1000 yen.

A good spot to start your Kushiro stay”
Kushiro in off-season is really a quite place, and so was the hotel. Handy, especially if you arrive by train from Sapporo - it is a three minutes walk to the hotel. Local buses will take you to the main points of interest as the bus stop is just opposite the hotel. Staff spoke english. Restaurant offers menu of the day (900 Y), Breakfast buffet (included, though not mentioned in the booking)is not outstanding but sufficient. Buffet closes at 9am (last calls 8:45am). Free wifi on guest floors. If I would visit Kushiro, I would stay at the Route Inn again.

Perfectly satisfactory hotel in a convenient location ”
After the last Route Inn I stayed at, I nearly changed this reservation. I'm glad I didn't. Just across the street from Kushiro train station and the bus terminal, the hotel is well located for getting around the area. My room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the breakfast satisfactory. If what you're looking for is anot inexpensive, clean, comfortable enough, basic place to sleep, this is a good choice.

Close to Train station, close to Wacho market”
Just across the street to Train station and 5 mins way to Wacho market. I ate 3 big crabs only 1,000 yen, they were sweet and delicious! So cheap and worth to go there. Don't forget to try Ramen with Oyster with homemade fish soup at Kushiro market. it's close to Wacho market.

Reliable hotel with courteous staff”
We only need to stay the night- arrive late and leave early so this hotel is right outside the train station and very convenient. It was raining and we were dead tired and it was a right decision The staff at the reception is courteous, as always since we stayed in this hotel as well in kirishima. The room is comfortable, clean and quiet and it was a good night test. The public bath is also a bonus. We went for a quick soak ( with Yu Kara)before relaxing in our room. Breakfast is also good.

A quite city on a Sunday.”
The hotel was very convenient. It was located across from the train station, bus terminal and in a commercial area. A quick walk around the hotel and you can find most everything you need. Warning though, this town is pretty much shut down on a Sunday. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Hotel is just opposite to the JR station and very near to the bus station. Breakfast is fine . Very easy to go to see the Japanese crane by bus, just 2 minutes walk to the bus terminal. Dining area is not far from the hotel. The restaurant of the hotel is good with reasonable price.
