Stayed 4 days , staff really helpful and polite at all times. Breakfast was great ,very international catering for all. 7 minute walk to town centre Bed was best slept in for a long time .great shower.
Hotel is well located, walking distance to old city where you can shop and many restaurants. Plenty of choices at breakfast and good value when included in the room rate. Limited number of pool chairs is a negative and had to wait 1 hour for the room to be ready.

Nice hotel but nothing special”
The hotel was nice but considering the price compared to other equivalent hotels in Hoi An, I would probably look at staying somewhere else next time. I was disappointed to be treated slightly worse than the other checking -in guests because I had booked through Agoda, they made a point of mentioning that we wouldn't get our loyalty points, even though we booked one of the most expensive suites in the hotel. The executive club was excellent and the staff there were amazing.

Lots of bus groups”
We stayed at the Royal Hoi An MGallery a few years ago and really enjoyed it. It has changed much over the last few years. The new second building houses gaming center with large neon lights across the front of the hotel as well as three spotlights on the roof. The hotel now hosts many large tour groups and the lobby and restaurants are very full of people many times throughout the day due to this. The room was clean and well appointed. While the service at breakfast was lacking due to the large tour groups, we had a nice server at the pool one night. Overall it was a mixed stay.

Totally recommend Royal Hotel if staying in Hoi An”
Good location and good view as it’s just next to Hoai river. About 7 mins walk to old town. The room decor was modern n nice. Bed is very comfortable. Staff were friendly too. We will definitely stay here again.

it is really near to the town of Hoi An, within walking distance (yet not too near and thus quiet), so you can visit the nice town day and night (for the lights). The best thing about this hotel is the food! tried some restaurant food around Danang and Hoi An, but the best is from this hotel.

The hotel was comfortable with nice design. It was in a good location, short walk from the tourist area but not too far. There are group tours here so sometime the hotel can seem under staff especially in the breakfast area.

Disappointing as nothing special....”
Rooms were gloomy, dark. Breakfast was boring. Room service limited if you dont eat pork. Staff were nice, but limited english spoken. AND, they charge for the cheapo laundry bag. They actually asked for it back as i was checking out!!!! Considering i paid for 2 people but was a solo traveller, and i stayed 5 days there and spent over usd280 in their spa and restaurants, they should have had the good sense to let me have that rubbish-y cheapo laundry bag! Left a bad taste.... can't recommend the place.

Good location just outside of the hustle and bustle area. Nice rooftop pool. Rooms are a little overdecorated: less would have been more in this case.

Great property, staff need more training”
The property is well appointed and attractive. It is less than 10 mins walk to the old town. Rooms are spacious and well designed. So from a physical set up the hotel is a great place to stay. Unfortunately the service and attention to detail are poor. We were promised adjoining rooms, then told they were not available. Ultimately to be placed next to the laundry - which staff nosily used around the close. This set the tone for the service. Hands off, hard to attracted attention and formulaic. The staff were never rude, if fact they were constantly apologising. The food was passable but not up to 5 star standards. During the xmas eve "gala dinner", food would run out. There would be long periods when items on the buffet were empty. Lastly, the pool is beautiful but gets no sunshine at all. Meaning it is cold. Punchline - Accor needs to send in some senior regional execs to give the staff and management a shake up. To take a great property and make it a great hotel.
Very Nice hotel nearby Ancient City”
Very nice hotel, and appears to be very new. The design is an old style with some modern touches here and there. Most rooms have a nice river view. Facilities are nice, staff are friendly and help with a smile.
Room was the nicest among the 3 hotels that I have stayed in Hoi An. Pool is more suited for adult. Location is 10min walk from ancient town along the riverside. No shuttle is provided to An Bang beach so one will have to take a taxi there. Security is good with the need to use room card even to use the lift.

This hotel is a real gem. It is what quality hotels used to be like. Excellent service. Great attention to detail. Comfortable well fitted rooms. Great nights sleep. Clean. We spent 4 days here for a long weekend. Our2 year old loved the pool area. The staff are tremendous especially Van and Hoa in the restaurant who were attentive to our son when they had no need to be.good is exceptional both for breakfast and dinner. Fresh made patisserie and grill station for breakfast all extremely hygienic.

The hotel was exactly what we imagined. Staff was attentive and friendly, hotel facilities indulgent enough to rest well from the exploration of the city. The courtyard pool is a charming setting by day and evening (with local music performance) however the amount of kids in and by the pool, unfortunately spoils the mood. Especially during the breakfast hours, the kids should not be allowed into the pool. Nothing spoils your day more than hollering toddlers splashing chlorinated water into your plate. While we understand the hotel is trying to accommodate every Guests' needs, some better pool management policy would be wise to have. Breakfast buffet has very few options for vegans. Otherwise, for a 5-star hotel, it's a decent spread. We were staying in a wing with windows facing West which provided cool temperature without the need of using the AirCon. Windows can be opened, which is an extra perk. Get a room with balcony for a tiny bit of extra luxury.

We stayed there for 2 nights last week. I was told by the staff that it was only opened in December 2015. Hence, it is very new. We got the corner room which has windows in the bathroom and bedroom. The room is very spacious and very clean. Besides, the bathroom also comes with a big bathtub. The bed, pillows and comforter are also very comfortable. The hotel is actually located next to the Hoi An river. You can basically walk to the Hoi An old town within 10 mins but we prefer to cycle there. The bicycle are provided free by the hotel and it's taken good care by the hotel staffs. One thing I love staying there is the hotel staffs. They are so friendly the moment you stepped into the hotel. When we informed them that we are going to ride our bicycles to the beach, they even prepare towels for us. The breakfast spread is good as well. Love their mixed smoothies and Vietnamese coffee. Would love to stay at the hotel again next time.

This is a newly opened hotel so it's still pretty quiet most of the time (it would seem). There were occasions where we were able to enjoy breakfast, the gym and the swimming pool almost entirely to ourselves! Rooms were nicely decorated and immaculately clean. Breakfast was great although my father did complain that the 'bacon was overdone' (First-world problems). Staff were very professional, helpful and welcoming - couldn't praise them more highly. Transportation is provided free of charge to and from the beach (usually a blacked out Mercedes!) and the hotel provide bicycles free of charge to hire for the day. The swimming pool was absolutely amazing, the gym was nice but very basic. Dumbbells go up to 14kg, and it's good for a run/cycle/cross train/a few light weights to get a sweat on but nothing too serious! Overall, a fantastic 5* hotel that can rightfully consider itself 5* - genuine class. It's not cheap, but if you are willing to spend the money - I would say it offers value for money.
Felt invisible no personal service. Several negatives from the staff to the facilities- cobweb on the ceiling/ grouting in shower not great. Pool on the roof only had eight sunbeds lots of tiles missing from the pool.

Not value for money & not up to MGallery (Accor) standard”
First thing, the hotel has 2 wings and we stayed at the old wing. We didn't see the room at new wing but the building, the corridor in the new wing looks newer, brighter and in better condition than the old wing a lot. So, my recommendation is to request to stay for the new wing if you chose this hotel. Secondly, the old wing was built earlier and I guess it's not up to the standard of the MGallery (Accor). The ceiling is very low and room does was not designed and look spacious as in Agoda photo website (perhaps the room photo taken in new wing). Carpets and sofa are old. And it makes a big noise whenever a door in any other room closes. Again, we feel that Accor just tried to expand its presence in Vietnam without keeping the standard. Thirdly, there is no real ART which is a different point in MGallery hotel compared with other. The only arts are some printing photo frame here and there in the hotel. New wing has better design with some wall painting or a rooftop swimming pool.
