Amazingly great...”
Ooooh yeeaa. This hostel is one of the best in comparison to many other good hostel around the world including in Osaka, Japan. Its has very large community room equipped with free TV, hot water & teas. Its location is the most convenient to bus/train stations. Restaurants, supermarket & local shopping are out of this world. For a very very unique restaurant that serves real gold metal you can eat with your salad & grill your own blowfish & in a very 100% Japanese style environment & services. I do not speak/read/write any Japanese but the young Japanese server invest his time to assist me throughout the meal. I enjoyed - a lot - The restaurant locates around 5 minutes walk from the Hotel Sakura on the right hand side when you walk out of the hotel & on the other side of the main street in front of the Hotel Sakura side - almost across from Sheraton Miyako Hotel. The cost is around 75USD/person.

Great experience”
We had a hard time finding this hotel according to the given address. We finally found it with the help of local people. If you want to goole the location, try "Hostel Sakura" instead of "hotel Sakura." When we arrived at the hotel, there was no body at the reception and we waited for some time. Despite of what being said, we had a great experience here. We were able store our luggages in the hotel before checking in. The shower room and bathroom were separate, which was extremely convenient. The bed was all set. Also, staff members were very friendly. As a hostel, it was definitely great!

Nice Budget Hotel”
Hotel Sakura is a nice budget hotel. It is setup as a hostel. Our room was not big but fit 4 double decked beds (8 persons). Our family of 5 had the room to ourselves. It's fine if you have the room to yourself and not share with other people. They have rooms good for 6 and 8. If you share a room with other people you have to watch out for your stuff since you don't know the other people your sharing the room with. They don't have cabinets to put your stuff in so everything has to be in your suit case. They do have a place where you can hang your clothes and a small.safe for each person in the room. They don't provide towels unless you like their Facebook page. They have shampoo and body wash in their bathroom. The common bathroom and toilet are located inside the room for those who get confused as to where their common bathroom is located. I thought at first that their common bathroom are separated from the room itself. They ask for 1000yen deposit for every key card they give which will be returned to you when you return your key card upon checking out. The beds are comfortable but they're hard to get in and out of since they have rails. You have to get into the bed with your feet first and out of the bed the same way. The thing I like about this hotel is it's very near the subway station and centrally located. They don't have a ref in the room but they have a common area on the six floor with a small ref where you can place your stuff but it's a small ref so you can't put a lot since it's a shared ref also. Overall, Hotel Sakura is a nice place to stay if you're on a budget.

Recommended Hotel”
We availed the Bunk Bed in Mixed Dormitory Room. The maximum number of persons to stay in their dorm room is 8 but since we were a group of 6 it felt like the room was reserved for us. Value for money - It was a reasonable price and within our budget. Location - This hotel is just 2 min away from Tanimachi 9-chome Station. It is accessible. Cleanliness - The toilet, shower room and the room itself is clean. Though it is small, for a budget traveler like us it's fine as long as everything's clean. --- they have provided shampoo and body soap in the shower room. they have toilet paper. they also have a facial tissue in the hand wash area. slippers are also provided in the room. the only thing that is not provided is towel (which you may avail for free if you liked their Facebook page) Staff - their staff were all accommodating. Facilities - they have one lift but it was not a problem for us during our stay. they also have free snacks from 10pm-12pm on Mondays and Thursdays. They have refrigerator, microwave oven, hot water (for tea/coffee/instant noodles) and a free air massage in the common area. Their hot/cold shower was functioning well. All in all our stay in Hotel Sakura was great! :) i may be staying in this hotel again when i get back to Osaka. :)

Excellent Hostel experience, but no towels”
Our stay at Hotel Sakura was very nice, we stayed for three nights. The only bad thing was that we didn't read the describtion very well before we booked and were surprised by the lack of towels. But that was our own fault. Definitely would stay there again.

Great and value hotel in Osaka”
I really love this Hotel so much. The staff was so kind and good service. My mom would like to find a salon, so the staff print out the google map and made a booking on behalf of my mom, I really appreciated it. I stayed in the Japanese style room for 3 people. There are 3 Japanese beds and private bathroom and toilet but located outside the room (near). The room size is quite OK. I have 3 big baggage and 3 carry on. There are community zone on 6 floor with including Japanese Vending Machine, Coffee/water, microwave, toilet, leave the baggage area (leaving for free) and the CCTV. This hotel near Tanimachi 9 chome station, Tanimachi Line. This is very convenient . There are 2 family marts or lawson (i'm not sure) around the hotel. If you would like to go to Dotonburi, you can walk there 1 km = 10-15 mins walk. Or you can take a subway Sennichimae line, Namba station or Nippombashi is both near.

Great hostel”
I love the location as the hostel is very near to the subway station, tanimachikyu-chome (Exit 5) & next to the exit is 7-11. It's very convenient! Across the street from the exit, FamilyMart is around the corner as well. Osaka Uehommachi JR Line station is nearby as well. Me & my sis booked a semi private bunkbeds, quite spacious for both of us, they have 2 shower rooms & toilets at the floor we stayed, provide basic amenities for bath & cleaning at the bathroom as well. Iron is available to use when you ask over the counter. As I arrive early in the morning, they helped to keep our luggages until we checked-in. You can inform them in advance of your early arrival. They provide free breakfast as well; bread, cheese, coffee/tea &fruit juice. The staffs are all friendly & greet u whenever they see u. Overall, the hostel is great!

Just five minutes away from two train stations and airport shuttle. So many food shops to choose from. Near supermarket. Near a mall. Quiet neighborhood. It took me only five minutes to check in. Gracious and helpful staff/hosts. When I go back to Osaka, I'll stay here again.

Osaka Backpacker”
The place was nice. The staff are also nice and accomodating. One thing I didn't like was that the AC was not working in 5th floor good thing it wasn't that hot when I checked in. Other that that I really liked the place. I would like to book again when I come back to osaka.

One of the best hostel”
Yes, this hostel very well qualified as hotel due to its facilities, its services with friendly staffs. Another plus is its location. Man oh man !! every thing you need in life is within 5 minutes walk. For entertainment tourist places: around 30 minutes walking exercise for your daily endurance work out along with experiencing real Japanese life styles. Come to stay & personally experience for yourself & for your family as well. BTW, I'm an extensive international traveler for as far north as Icelanh, Norway & as far south as New Zealand, FIJI Island & of course Australia

Great Choice”
Pros: near to subway station, cheap but clean, good staff instruction when you arrived late, worth the price, near to japanese restaurants, 7/11, fastfood kfc, near to namba/dotonbori ( 2 stations away), family mart, peaceful area, bed with privacy curtains. Cons: beds has a fix rails like a crib. You cant sit on the bed with your feet out. Quite uneasy to get in and out of the bed. But over all, beds are comfortable.

Everything is great except the locker”
Pros: Location is great, near subway and two stations away from Namba There is a family mart, 7-11 and cheap resto near the hotel Bed was comfortable and has light, one electric socket and curtains for your lil privacy CR was amazing, with hair dryer Staff are helpful and friendly Cons: Locker is very small, all you can put is wallet and cellphone, there is no space for your luggage or backpack. Very disappointing I paid 100yen for the towel when I checked in but it could be free if you like their facebook page and their staff didn't mention it to me. Can't shower after midnight which sucks if your flight is delayed I would have given all 5stars only if they have lockers big enough for my 25L backpack.

There’s a staff that was very rude, i don’t know her name but the other staffs are friendly and help”
Pros - located near the train station, a bus stop for airport lomousine bus, matsuya (cheap rice bowls), convenience stores. The area was quiet and the room rates are very affordable. Clean bathrooms. There are helpful guide maps at the walls. Cons - we encounter a rude staff which we felt like we’re unwelcomed to the place. There were times that the AC was turned off when we get there at night and we can’t find any staff at the hostel to turn it on.
