This is a renovated Spanish villa, the building is so well preserved an authentic, the place is clean, staff is nice and the location is superb. Best value for money.

Vigan stopover”
We stayed in room 206. The room was spacious for a couple and comfortable. The only thing that disturbed was that the window faced onto a public balcony and there was no privacy when people used the balcony. A change of window glass might help. We had to keep the curtains drawn. The inclusive breakfast was satisfying but the coffee did not have any taste of coffee. Apart from those two cons our stay was good. We would stay again but in a more private room.

Lovely hotel”
We booked the executive suite and a deluxe room. The hotel looks good, staff is friendly and attentive, rooms were nice and attractive. The beds and pillows are comfortable and clean. Bathrooms are nice, fixtures all work and hot water is plentiful. Our included breakfasts were simple but good and filling. Definitely recommend.

The location is perfect. It is very near the historical street of Calle Crisologo and the free breakfast at Bistro Amarillo was good. We were given a room on the first floor of the hotel and the room itself was nice, clean and spacious. The hotel also has very nice staff. The only thing I don't like about our room is that the television is somehow not functioning very well. It's old and we can't change the channel or increase/decrease the volume. There's also a free wifi but it didn't reach our room. We only stayed for a night so it didn't bother us a lot and we were outside for most of the time.

We enjoyed our stay mostly because the staff delivered excellent customer service, despite the fact that the facilities is a bit needing update such as the toilet (water tank is cranky), the glass frame in the shower room is rusty, and a bit of shine for the wood work is necessary. We were a big group and the staff understood our needs without much fuss. So high score on that. Elsewhere, the hotel achieved the turn-of-the-century feel, homey and if you set your imagination free, maybe you would see grandpa with his cigar, him sitting on his rocking chair, and grandma downstairs directing the meal preparations in the kitchen.

Close to cathedral and right in the central area with most touristic spots, it looks an old small but preserved palace. Nice architecture and environment, pleasant athmosfere in its interiors, good WIFI and AC and only two negative notes, one functional and other gastronomical: steepy stairs than can harm people about locomotion; and basic breakfast, not many choices and only filipino options, excluding even toasts and butter which refers to a lack of understanfing on foreigners/westerners clients. Well mannered and helpful assistants there, easy check-in and out. Great option in historical centre and in a road which has no souvenir shops (just close by) and not much traffic of vehicles and tourists wandering around.

This hotel is a renovated colonial building, just a block away from the Crisilogo St. The facilities are relatively basic, but reasonably clean. The staff are also friendly and helpful. For the price, I just wished there was even a small fridge. Also, it helps if they serve either or both coffee and juice. Making you choose just one seems too much of nickeling-and-diming.

The hotel seems to have been neglected during the pandemic. Bathroom fixtures were all rusted. Aircon not working well. Though they managed to keep it clean, the room just looks absolutely worn out.

The room given to us on the ground floor was terrible. It's not safe since there is an access door that is open at the back. The bidet was leaking and when they fixed no water is coming out. The room is almost bare in amenities like pot to heat water, etc.. The cabinet is blocking the access slot to power on the room. Very limited parking slot.

In tune with the place”
Excellent! Everything there is just right. The moment we arrived, we were greeted politely and assisted well. The designs are right for the theme of the city. Although the room wige is weak and slow, you can use it for free. They have a steep stairs which i guess is part old architectures. Lovation is perfect as its close to the main attraction of the city. If i'll ne given a chance to visit again the place, i'll book again in this hotel! And if someone would ask me where to book, its hotel salcedo (vigan)

We stayed here 2 nights, Friday to Sunday. We arrived in Vigan at 5am and they allowed us leave our bags since our check in is at 2pm. The room was very nice and a bit small. We enjoyed the room because of the superb air conditioning and nice bed. The location of the hotel is very near to the famous calle crisologo. The free breakfast includes the famous Vigan loganisa. Overall, our stay is unforgettable. Will recommend to our friends.

Excellent from reservation to checkout. Except that there was no temporary loading and unloading bay in front of the hotel without blocking causing traffic in the already cramped streets of Vigan. There was no signs or staff to inform guests where to park. But at least after checked in, they provided complimentary pay parking at a nearby parking compound 10 meters away.
