Very Good Location and Stay... We have totally enjoyed!! But too reach the hotel from train station or airport is little strain. Otherwise, everything is perfect.. if we stay here, we can enjoy the real beauty of Venice!!
Great little place”
Fantastic location, in the quieter end of the hustle and bustle of San Marco. 5 min walk from St Marks square. Very clean newly decorated rooms, lovely garden and helpful staff. No lift so if you don’t like steps it’s better to get a room on the lower floor.
Last minute reservation”
I decided last minute to stay one more night. Hotel San Moise' was awesome and available. It was a cold, rainy day in Venice and I was very happy to spend the night in this wonderful, cozy room. Breakfast was great the next day. American coffee, yum!! Location was perfect. Staff was as kind as could be! I recommend a stay there!!
Everything is great about this hotel”
we had an amazing experience with this hotel. we booked a room for 3 but we had 4 people, so we had to pay an additional per night. first night, our room was not available so they sent us to stay at their sister hotel - hotel ateneo which was a very small room. 2nd and 3rd night, they brought us (and our bags) back to hotel san moise into a luxury room that sleeps 4 people, with a canal view - fantastic. also the breakfast buffet is pretty good but does get boring after 3 days of eating the same breakfast. hotel staff were very helpful. would definitely recommend and come back to this hotel.
This Hotel room was very bad and the lady staff was rude.”
This hotel was outdated and rude staff.
Fantastic location, friendly staff”
Had a view and window looking over one of small canals. Had lovely music and serenading drifting up from gondolas! Close to San Marco square & Grand Canal. Traditional Venetian decor in rooms.
Great hotel right in the middle of it all , nice friendly staff and would definitely stay there again
Beautiful Room, Convenient Location”
The Room : We stayed for a night in a Quad room. The room was very spacious, clean, well kept , bright and had lot of storage space. The beds were comfortable, the lenin & bath towels provided were clean. It had a right blend of modern accessories and venetian feel. Our room had views into the canal, where a lot of gandola's moved around. The staff : All the staff members were friendly and helpful. The bell boy took our luggage to the room (had to climb a floor - unusual in Europe and he didn't even expect a tip). The breakfast lady was helpful. The breakfast itself was quite good. Good selection of fruits, breads, croissants, cakes, cereals, teas, cheese / spreads, yogurt etc. The Location : A little walk (200 mtrs) from San Marco water bus station. Very conveniently located to all the Piazza San Marco and shops / restaurants. This place made out stay in Venice memorable
My worst nighmare”
The room was very different from the photo, room was clean but everything inside is old and almost fall apart. Only one power outlet per room and it was under my bed! Whole hotel was like haunted asylum, totally can't sleep at night. Sound proof was bad, poor lighting. No more second time!
2 nights in Venice”
Great location! Nice, friendly staff Loved the breakfast in the charming courtyard. The only reason I gave 4 stars for cleanliness is due to my profound sense of smell - our room smelled like it used to be a smoking room and they covered it up with church smelling incense - however, my husband was perfectly fine. We would definitely stay here again.
Great breakfast and fantastic location -really close to San Marco and the canal side views etc are fabulous - even from the breakfast room. Staff at hotel were lovely and rooms were nice and clean. Standard rooms are rediculously tiny however and the hotel can be cut off occasionally on a hight tide. The light fittings are a bizarre and beautiful feature. We loved staying there!
Glad we chose to stay there!!!”
Charming, warm atmosphere in the room and everywhere in the building. Possibly the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed at!!!! In the heart of Venice, next to all public transportation(important especially for when checking out)but in a quiet street away from all the noise and hustle!! The breakfast could be better(tastier) considering you are in Italy, but it was very decent. Breakfast's courtyard was amazing! Cons: Stayed at the double classic room which was a lot smaller than what was described at agoda's review, and also there where two single beds instead of one double, but you couldn't really feel it, we slept as if in a double bed, and also spent little time in the room, so the size of the room didn't really matter as well. My 3rd time in Venice, and I am glad we stayed at Hotel San Moise.
Wonderful Venice stay”
My mother and I spent a lovely few days at San Moise'. Lovely, quiet location but within a few minutes' walk of the wonderful St. Mark's Square. Staff were friendly and helpful which always makes a big difference to a hotel stay! Excellent range of foods at breakfast, even with myself being vegetarian. (The coffee was lush too!) The rooms are a lovely traditional Venetian style, and the beds super-comfy! Not much else to say, except for my next trip to Venice, I won't be shopping around for a different hotel! :-)
Great location, avergae sized rooms”
location was great - a few minutes to saint mark's square, with gondola's passing by the hotel day and night. very difficult to find though, at first, if it is your first time in venice. room size was alright, bathroom was clean, and the service was fine. no elevator. 24 hour wifi (combined total usage) available for euro, and worthwhile if you're staying more than a few days. all in all, nothing exceptional, or horrendous about our stay, and we would stay again.
Great Hotel; they upgraded us to a 4 star”
we arrived at the san marco pier and found the bridge indicated on our map blocked for repair and attempted to phone for alternate directions. the person answering didn't speak english but after heading off a friendly fellow tourist who knew a bit about venice pointed us in the right direction. when we arrived at the san moise', we were directed to the 4 star ca alise. the staff was great especially the bellman who rolled our bags as he led us to the ca alise. the staff was great, the breakfast good, but the bed was worn a bit more than i would expect in a 4 star hotel.
LV, Gucci, Prada, Versace are your neighbourrs ...”
our stay here was nice - the rooms are super small. but what else do you expect in venice though. it was small but for the price we paid, it was comfortable and clean accommodation - as long as you dont have too much luggage, the ( lack of ) space grows on you. just dont compare it too much with other hotels you might stay in because then you will just get depressed. just think of what you will see outside during your tours/walks ... come on, you're in venice !!! the one big positive thing for me was the bathroom - the biggest shower space, out of all the places i stayed at in italy .. that was a definite bonus !
Not what we expected ”
Room too small, artificial orange juice instead of fresh during breakfast, pictures of the rooms lie about sizes.
Clean and convenience”
The location was nice, staff are pleasant. hopefully will come back again.
Very nice hotel friendly stuff”
