Great value”
Great hotel. Wonderful staff. Amazing breakfast. Nice showers. Firm but comfortable mattress. Area can get a bit sketchy, but historic Naples, unfortunately is that way. Walking distance to most things. Hotel is an oasis in the middle of chaos

Love the staff”
The staff were super helpful and nice. We arrived early AM and was given a room right away as they saw my wife was pregnant. Thank you so much ! They helped with my luggage and taxi too. Breakfast was a good variety and quality. Will def be back! Location is close to train station and many great pizzerias of Naples. Sites are walking distance.

Great base for the Centro Storico”
On the edge of the Centro Storico this is great for getting to all the main sights and the train to Herculaneum and Pompeii. It's a sketchy area but that's the nature of Naples. The rooms are well appointed and the breakfast is fine but what really makes the hotel stand out is the quality of the staff - they are fantastic and will do anything to help

Hotel okay, terrible room”
Stayed for 3 nights to celebrate our special occasion. I requested that the hotel please do something special & give us a nice room. They did NOTHING. They told us we had a great room, but it was very basic, dark, balcony didn't have any view, and located on the top floor below the dining room. The first night, after a long journey, we wanted to go to bed early & rest. A loud Italian family with a screaming child were sat in the dining room at 22:00. Since the dining room has no closed door, the noise travelled down the stairs & echoed outside our room. It woke me up. I asked the family if they could please be quieter. A member of staff translated & apologised. 2 hours later, the child woke us again, screaming & shouting. I angrily opened my door & said that I'd asked them once politely. She threatened me with police! Complained to reception who apologised again. AWFUL! Breakfast was varied & great. Covid19 measures good: gel, temperature measuring. Must enforce guest mask wearing!

Upscale hotel not far from the central station”
I had a very nice stay for one night at the Hotel San Pietro. The check-in staff were very kind, and because I made the booking online with Agoda only a few hours prior to arrival, they did not have any record of the booking when I arrived, but this was no problem at all. I gave them my booking number and when the official message arrived from Agoda, there was no further mention at all. The breakfast on the rooftop was lovely with a decent selection of foods, and the view was also nice. The only complaint was that the wifi was a little weak in the second floor corner room that I stayed in. 9.5/10, I would recommend to anyone looking to stay in a nice hotel in this price range in Naples, Italy.

Peaceful oasis in a crazy city!”
The Hotel San Pietro was one of the best hotels we stayed at in a month-long trip to Italy. It's in a very convenient location near the train station, outside it's noisy and chaotic Naples - inside, quiet and peaceful. The hotel décor is very contemporary, rooms and baths are excellent, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Naples.

Outstanding Hotel in the midst of....”
Hotel San Pietro is an outstanding hotel in the midst of a city that is in need of some attention. It is a quick 10 minute walk from the train station. The facilities was clean and the staff extremely helpful. The rooms are spacious for Europe and well appointed. Breakfast was held upstairs on the roof top and you have your choice of inside or outside seating. Food was plentiful with an array of pastries, fruit, coffees, eggs, meats, cheeses and fresh juices. It is just off one of the main streets where there are ample shops and restaurants. 10 min walk to the best pizzerias naples has to offer. Would definately stay here again if visiting this area.

Best hotel and staff of the entire 5 city trip!”
Beyond our expectations - this hotel was wonderful! From the moment we entered we felt pampered and welcome. A big relief to see our room was modern, clean, spacious, quiet and luxurious. The staff made every effort to pamper us with excellent service. They all spoke English very well. Enzo (who ran the front desk) was the most helpful guide, giving us advice on local attractions, restaurants, day trips and tips to navigate throughout Naples. The only drawback was the neighborhood the hotel is situated in. It's conveniently located near the Centrale Train station but in a run down dirty part of town. It was difficult to locate so we had to call a few times for guidance. We were not approached by strangers lingering about and did not feel unsafe, it was just not a nice area of Naples. Once inside the hotel we forgot all about the surroundings. We could not wait to be back every evening! The food was excellent and the dining room terrace cozy, the housekeepers & staff attentive and quick to respond to every detail. The biggest surprise was that this was the least expensive hotel we stayed in during our 12 day, 5 city trip, yet it offered the most for the money! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to use it as a home base for exploring the Amalfi Coast - Naples, Capri, the islands, Sorrento, etc. Naples is a short boat or train trip to many local options and a pleasant (with the best shopping) city to visit.

A Gem ”
The minute I walked in, I felt welcomed, safe and comfortable. The hotel is beautifully decorated from reception to stairways and hallways to rooms. The location seems a little rough to begin with, but once you have been in Naples for a few days, you realize it is just everyday busy life happening outside the door. I felt safe in this area as an invisible grandma. It was close to historic center even though I didn't realize it at first. Breakfast at the rooftop garden was nice.

Very friendly”
Excellent hotel, clean and comfortable. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Great location for most attractions (museums) etc. Loads of shops. Naples is quite a dirty city and very crowded but still has its charm. Watch out for pickpockets because it's very crowded it's easy to get distracted.

Great location ”
Very clean hotel and room. Turn down service. Great location. There have been reviews saying this hotel is in a run down area of the city, but it isn't really. If you get out and walk around you will notice most of the older Napoli is just as gritty. Some areas may appear more menacing than others, especially at night, but it is just the way Napoli is. Personally we wouldn't go back but if we did we would certainly consider this hotel. Reasonably priced. Really hard bed. Good shower. Air con didn't work but didn't really need it so didn't report it.

Exceptional”
This is a really beautiful hotel with staff who provide excellent service. Yes, it is I'm not such a great location but we went out for lunch and felt okay. We chose not to go out for dinner, but instead ate at the restaurant in the hotel and found the food to be good. We were in Naples for one night as a layover between amalfi and our flight back home, and this hotel was perfect for us to just relax in!

Surprising gem”
The staff were top-notch, best included breakfast ever, rooms lovely - clean, well-designed, elegant. The area, while convenient, was dirty, noisy, rough. We were not expecting the San Pietro to be as nice as it turned out to be, a much-appreciated surprise.

4 Night Break”
This is a very pleasant Oasis in the bustle of the area around Garibaldi Station, and is an excellent location if you are going to make multiple trips out by train to the surrounding area, Pompeii, Vesuvius, Sorrento etc, and a short stroll into the Old Town, though it's a little further from the smarter parts of Naples such as the Lungomare and Chiaia. There is a rooftop terrace bar, and breakfast room too where there is a surprisingly varied and good breakfast served daily. The reception desk is very friendly and helpful, though service can need a little prompting in the rooftop bar of an evening ! Nice touches include the little nibbles you get with a beer, more than just your usual pot of peanuts. Our room was a well appointed suite with balconies, and had an interesting shower in the bedroom, and frosted glass toilet area which adds a new meaning to the phrase "ensuite". Couples I suspect, need to know each other fairly well not to find aspects of this layout unromantic, though having a separate lounge and dressing area comes in useful when discretion is required. Overall it is a hotel I would recommend and we had a very enjoyable stay
