    Fantastic Stay!”

Stayed here for two nights on a five night trip to Andalusia. My boyfriend and I loved it! Great value for money with the included breakfast, which was wonderful - omelette cooked to order and plenty of choice. The location is in the heart of Albacin, only a short 10 minute walk from the centre of Granada. If you have a car, the streets leading up to the hotel are very narrow so be careful - we are thankful we had a small car! We had a 1st floor classic room looking out into the courtyard, it was large and the bathroom was a good size too with a bath. Should we return to Granada, we will definitely stay here again! Also it was my first time booking through agoda and i was slightly nervous but it everything went smoothly.

    A little dissapointing ”

First the positives about this hotel, great location, well appointed rooms, terrifically helpful staff, nice area to make tea, coffee and even have a local spirit or two. For us there were however a few disappointments. Our first room, no 11, advertised as the best room with views of the Alhambra gets a great deal of street noise till quite late. We had not read this anywhere, very surprising, as it is loud, continuous and does not stop till quite later. Additionally, and we accept this was our bad luck, there were people playing loud music in the nearby square till after 3.00am. The location of the room meant it was very difficult to sleep. The windows unfortunately do not block the sound completely, or even particularly well. The staff were accommodating and moved us the next day. The other disappointment is breakfast, very ordinary compared to others in comparable places in Spain. Awful bread, tomatoes that seemed to have been sliced much earlier, limited choice. Overall a nice stay, Granada is a fabulous place and the Alhambra is amazing https://www.tripadvisor.com.au/ShowUserReviews-g187441-d607446-r536455590-Santa_Isabel_la_Real-Granada_Province_of_Granada_Andalucia.html#

    Great city, Great Hotel”

    bus at door step

you have to climbed up the hill a bit to reach the hotel if you didn't know but 31 or 32 takes you to the door step, just like us. but the view of granada city along the way worth the effort. the two buses mentioned above will take you to city center and alhambra. the hotel staff is very helpful. the bed is very good and breakfast is great.

Friendly and helpful staff, assisted to reserve Flamenco show tickets for us. Grate location as the mini bus stop is just outside of the hotel. Clean room. Just one minor drawback — air-con quite weak (esp. when the temp. in Granada is over 40C), probably due for replacing the coolant.

This hotel has tons of characters. It is a well preserved and well renovated traditional Spanish house. The location is in Albaicin, which is THE place to be if you want to experience Granada. Staff very attentive and helpful, sitting area with tea/coffee all day., buffer breakfast with made to order eggs, we couldn't have asked for more.

This place is pure delight. In the heart of the old city but with easy bus access to main attractions, it is also perfectly located for strolling around the delightful historic quarter. The staff are warm, friendly and endlessly helpful. We spent a good part of the afternoon just relaxing here in the hotel because it’s such a pleasant place to be! I’d give it 10 stars if I could. A real treasure.

    Great value in Albayin area”

I choose to stay here upon recommendations to stay in the old part of town, other peoples recommendations, they offer parking and very close to the bus stop tothe Alahambra. This hotel didn"t disappoint. It is in a old style .spanish house with all the rooms off of the courtyard. The breakfast was the best we had in Spain and was included. The breakfast was cafe, fresh orange juice, yogurt, fruit, spanish ham and sausage, bread, croissant, cereals etc. It was an unexpected and welcome spread. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We had asked whete we could wash some clothes and the staff offered to do it for us. We were omly staying one night so that was great. We got our laundry back the next day.. For those of you driving, this place is im the old citu which means very winding, narrow roads and tourist to avoid. No feint of heart drivers.

Thoughtful, quaint beautiful hotel. Will revisit if going Granada”

What stood out for me is the warm hospitality I felt at this hotel and the little touches like the reading room with guide books, coffee/tea and sweets which is thoughtful. Location is in Albacin area with a bus stop in front of the hotel. There are 2 buses, costing Euro1.40 each trip which can bring you to the central, Alhambra

The hotel that looks like a castle!”

Feels like staying in an old castle!

The staff at the hotel were very polite and helpful, they pointed us to the interesting places to visit and the good places to try the local tapas! The hotel felt like a castle so it was a very nice experience for us because of the old castle feel attached to the rooms. It is also just 5 mins from the St. Nicholas square where you can get a great view of the Sierra Nevada and the Alhambra palace! The only disadvantage was that the location was quite far from the city centre and it was difficult to walk up the hill(however there is a direct bus to the hotel).

1 Vicinity to restaurants 2 view of the Alhambra from room and carparking

We had a fantastic stay over 2 nights at this great hotel. After finding it!! Once found, we could safely store our car and spend some leisurely days visiting some lovely restaurants and strolling around the cobbled streets with great views of the Alhambra. The city circuit bus is also right outside the door. Staff are friendly and the breakfast fare was better than most we have experienced in Spain. Would certainly recommend this hotel to others.

    Lovely hotel”

Really welcoming and helpful staff. Arrived early but no problem in sorting out our rooms and welcome drinks and snacks etc. Equally at the end no problem to leave our cases until late afternoon. Excellent breakfast with wide choice and freshly cooked eggs etc if wanted. Breakfast starts at 7.00 am which is perfect if like us you have early morning Alhambra tickets. Hotel's position in the Albaicin is good for view from our top floor room but does mean a bit of a hike up (which we enjoyed but maybe not so good for some) or there is a regular small town bus from the Plaza at the bottom. Highly recommended.

Tasteful, absolutely quiet when you need it to be. Open, central courtyard was classical in design, and gave a sense of independence from the outside world, yet evoked the significance of the nearby Alhambra. Room provided all desired features, plenty of hot water pressure, and everything worked. It had easy accessibility for all interesting aspects of Albaicin. The proprietor and her staff provided charming, efficient and effective service and practical guidance as to the area and attractions and facilities. We have traveled extensively and this was right up there with the very best.
