The hotel is comfortable to stay in and the design is cool. The staff are ready to serve. The meals are delicious. The room is generally clean, but the elevator looks dull. Also, the air conditioner in my room sometimes leaks water.

santika pangkal pinang is not a really big hotel, but the interior and design is very modern. it is still new and everything is still good. very clean, good service and good food during breakfast. when i checked in was around 9pm, and my booking was at standard room and during that period was full, so they gave us up grade room for free into deluxe. the replacing room is even better and specious. overall is good and will come back to stay here if i come to bangka.

The hotel was newly built and just opened about 3 years ago. The hotel hosted a lot of government function hence you can see them having buffet lunch in the restaurant. The hotel is about 15 minutes from the airport. Since there is no taxi that operate regularly around Bangka, you can can use the hotel transport which in fact is cheaper that the normal taxi. Food is also an issue around the hotel, need to get transport if you want to get to a nice food location. If you don't mind, you can also take the choice of street side food but careful and not to try if you have weak stomach.
