Great spot in Sanur”
I really enjoyed my short stay at the Segara Agung. The hotel is located very close to the ocean and the restaurants/bars along the beach. The staff are fantastic and always accommodating. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great little find”
Such a pretty hotel. Away from the main centre but not too far to venture in. Spotlessly clean and lovely friendly staff. Would recommend and stay again. Great for the price as a little bit of maintenance required in the rooms but nothing that would put me off. Grounds are immaculate and pool area is spot on.

Immaculate gardens, very well kept”
Gardens are exceptional and staff are very friendly and professional. Breakfast includes hot food, fruit, cereal, toast etc. We found the bathroom to be a little bit dated, but everything was very clean.

Overall great experience”
Excellent location. 3min. walk from the beach. It was great staying in Segara Augung. Pool was very nice. Little number of rooms so number of guest are very low. Not at all noisy. Breakfast was good. Rooms are good in size and facilities.

Very good hotel, near the center, 20 min by car from airport”
Breakfast very good, daily housekeeping, amazing garden and style of hotel. 10min walk to center with shopps and bars and restaurants. Beach 10min walk from hotel, but beach not the best for staying there and relax- better to find some part of beach somewhere else- fishing boats, not clean. Swimming pool in hotel very nice and clean- good place to relax.

Bedding a bit of an issue”
This is the first time I’ve slept on bedding that has been so bad. There was a stain on the sheet as I opened the bed it was large and really quite off putting. I could see there was a blood stain on the mattress underneath. No mattress protector so the rather cheap synthetic and bobbly sheet was directly on the hard surface of the mattress and made it very uncomfortable. I couldn’t sleep as the bobbles on the old sheet stuck into me and the cheap synthetic pillows were way too soft. Not a nice experience at all. Mold in the shower not very attractive either. Needs a good steam clean and new cotton bedding. Staff nice and friendly and pool looked nice.

5 minutes walk from beach in a quiet alley”
Friendly staff. Booked a suite which is a room with bath tub and balcony overlooking swimming pool. Very quiet. Walk to main road 10 minutes. There is building work at the end of alley , big resort but not affected by it at all. Breakfast is basic but good coffee , the staff let me have coffee at 6am after my walk to the beach to see beautiful sunrise. Nest spa which is amazing is 5 minutes walk away. Plenty of restaurants waling distance. Money exchange. I used blue bird taxi from airport. 45 minutes with traffic. 150k. The only downsides are poor WiFi. Bath tub had a little mold around it but it didn't bother me. TV had very bad reception , antenna was broken. I reported it but it didn't make a difference. In all good value and very peaceful.

Wifi”
Wifi, was almost non-existent, and my only means of communication, TV was out for 3 days. Near walk to beach, but long walk to main area. Had little contact with staff, but would take several tries to get response ,2 days to get hand towels, multiple requests to fix the wifi.

Value for money & good service ”
We stayed for 1 night. Room was basically ok, good for a short stay and value for money. Pool was nice and the decoration around the hotel is pretty Too. The only improvement to make was probably to put slippers and more power socket. Staff have very high standard of service !! They have helped me book my boat ticket to Nusa penida, hire a taxi, attend well to all my request. Service for this hotel is good. For breakfast , I felt that the variety is quite little , need to improve.

Location, Staff, Room, Bed, Pool & Brekkie!!!”
The staff were so lovely and attentive. The location is a 3 minute stroll to the beach and great restaurants, and just a bit further in the opposite direction is the main drag. Still Segara Agung is tucked away, quiet. The gardens are beautiful, and so are the lovely guys who tend to them. The room is spacious, and the bed is massive & sooo comfy. My husband, myself and our one year old haven't slept that good in a year. Brekkie was yummy and plentiful. The only downside was no coffee/tea making facilities in the junior suite, but when we asked for a kettle and cups, they were provided. We picked up coffee from Hardy's market and made our own. Will stay here again!

Perfect location, great value for money”
What a sweet find: Very close to the beach and the city center, yet very silent and relaxing. Nice garden, great rooms and very friendly staff. Maybe the pool could need some modernisation and some shade as the water gets really warm during sunny days. Breakfast and food is okay, but nothing special. Beside this: go for it if!

What a disappointment ”
We were looking forward to our stay here and we're very unhappy we were put in an upstairs room which was fine although I struggled to climb stairs that were about 30cm high with a bad hip so asked if I could be moved and was told no as there were no available rooms the two below were empty but couldn't move there our room was nice enough the air conditioning sounded like a helicopter hoovering then we went for a swim the pool water temp was hot as there is no shade at all during the day there was green algae along the stairs entering the pool and around the seat to shallow part of pool.that was day one the next day I asked yet again if I could move to a lower floor to be met with a no you cannot I mentioned the spare rooms they replied they were being used we decided to move when checking out not one question as to why they just replied ok. The only staff that were friendly was the gardener who said hello each time we saw him, so I would never recommend this hotel there are far better places to stay

Quiet Oasis at the Segara Agung”
Our third visit to Segara Agung. In a word -- lovely. Close to the beach and restaurants (check out Massimo Italian and their superb gelato!) The Segara Agung is a quiet garden oasis. The rooms, while not luxurious, are large and comfortable, and the small staff are attentive. Only thing missing was a lock box in the room.
