Excellent”
The hotel is a bit old, but it was very quiet and clean. The mini fridge must be plugged in before it will work, so if you plan to use it make sure to turn it on. There is an ac in the room that can be used and also a bathtub. I stayed in the superior single and it was awesome. Unlike many single rooms, the bed was very large and comfortable. I will definitely stay here again as the price per night plus the room is amazing. It's also very close to the JR station. Around 10 minutes walking

Unknown pungent smell in the toilet. The hotel (expect the corridor) needs an overhaul because of the antiquated facilities.

Exceptional”
We booked a non-smoking room. It felt like the non-smoking rooms are on separate floors as compared to smoking rooms. If so, then we welcome this practice. The room was quite spacious and well designed. Comfortable and clean. Room service was excellent and provided fresh towels and a yukata for us to use. Overall, it is a good value for money and I would recommend this hotel to any traveler.

It is a small room with small bed in a relative running down building. However, you have everything you need. Good for backpackers but not family. Very nice staff.

Dirtiest hotel I have ever seen in Japan.”
Lobby — couches worn out with cracks and tears in the material. Adjacent wall is full of stains like someone sprayed them with cola. Sections of missing baseboards. Cracked tiles. An outlet missing a screw, sitting crookedly in the wall. AC vent covered with dust. Elevator — Inside the elevator, the doors are covered with marks and stains. Third floor hall — A corner of a non-functional ceiling light sags from the ceiling. Five floor hall — near the elevator, the wall has a large stain spreading from down from the ceiling from water damage. Through the stain is a long crack. Throughout the hotel there are dents and holes in the corners of walls. Rooms — the bathroom vents did not work. The window was covered with condensation. The curtains, the AC/heater, and parts of the bathroom were full of mold. The exhaust vent of the AC/heater was covered in dust. The picture frame over the bed had a thick layer of dust. Duvet had stains. Half the rooms face an adjacent building.

Room is very old, poor and look untidy! This is th poorest hotel that I booked in Agoda! The only one point valid for a compliment is the only one night shift staff who is wearing an uniform of security guard, he is nice, helpful with very good attitude.
