Hotel Shan International
Staff were very friendly and helpful
The stay at the hotel was very comfortable and homely. The staff were extremely helpful, polite and eager to please. The rooms were comfortable and the food was tasty and delectable. Washrooms could have been maintained better. Due to the Metro construction work, conveyance to the city center was inconvenient. I would recommend this hotel to business folk and those travelling with families.

My review of Shan Royal
The hotel's restaurant is kept clean. The F&B staff is well trained and courteous towards customers.All other department's staff are also quickly responded to customer's request.
The rooms should be painted periodically to maintain its status.
The overall hotel staff was courteous and informative to customer's doubts and responded fast. The hotel staff looked neat and well groomed especially the front desk staff who are friendly and displayed courtesy and informative. The overall hotel staff responded fast towards customers request and observed to be well trained towards customer care.

Too far from the action
Comfortable bed, TV,hot shower and attentive service.
A bit too far out the main centre of town. Noise from the street still audible even on the 4th floor.Surrounded by open areas of desolation and rubbish.
I found this hotel on the internet and got a good discount. the language barrier caused some minor problems and it was definately too far out of town for convenience. Had to catch a rickshaw every time I wanted to do anything and was charged a fortune from Chennai back to the hotel. Breakfast was very basic for western tastes but there was a good spread of local foods. Internet access was very poor.
