The hotel can have better cleanliness and facilities. The staff was very friendly but expect the billing department to improve. The name Shangrila gives impression of international chain but was much lower in standard.

Over rated hotel and high price”
No way upto the standard. I would tell this is an old 3 star hotel. If u are a casino lover then this is gud because its in the same building. Other than that for me i will not stay here.

A welcome oasis in a crazy city!”
We stayed at the Shangri-la for two nights at the end of our time in Nepal, and had a lovely time. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast buffet was excellent, and the staff were unfailingly friendly,polite and helpful. Definitely a good decision to stay here!

Nice and friendly Place to stay, but rather 4 than 5 star”
Overall a pleasant one-night stay. Dissappointing, that at 10pm I couldn't get any Asian vegetarian meal, only western dishes on offer, mostly for carnivores. Van recommend the Professional massage at the spa.

Terrible rooms, no hot water”
The staff
No hot water for most of the day, the rooms are in terrible state of disrepair, the linen is grey due to poor washing, rooms are dirty. I would not want to stay there again if I had a choice.

Food, Friendly Staff, Reasonably Priced
Overall good, reasonably priced but not up to usual Shangri-La's Standard. There are functions going on every night which is a bit noisy.
