Wonderful time staying in the hotel”
- Location : I think it's not the problem because I take the shuttle bus from Sapporo which take us to in front of the hotel. Also you can take the bus from Sapporo to which the bus stop is very near to the hotel (around 3-5 minute) - Shuttle bus : They provide shuttle bus from Otaru park (in front of NHK building / Sapporo TV Tower) which depart 15:00 from Sapporo and depart 10:00 from the hotel on the next day. This service required reservation before the date of departure!!! but I can't contact them by email or via Agoda so that you have to call them both from youre country or when you arrive in Japan - Food : I reserved with Dinner buffet and Breakfast buffet. This is the most wonderful Japanese buffet I've ever had in this Japan trip. Dinner provide many Japanese traditional dish, Sashimi, Curry, Ramen. Tempura and many others - Room : We selected Japanese style room. It's big enough with all facilities. First when you enter there is a table and tea set instead of bed. They will make a bed for you between 18:00-21:00 when you have dinner. One problem is that there is no shower room in my room (there is just toilet and sink) so you have to take the public bath - Public bath : This is very great too. It's very big with almost hundred people capacity with different temperature water, Jaguzzi, steaming and outdoor area - Staff is nice with standard service

Nice onsen”
Hotel is about 1.25hours bus from Sapporo station (take 1-way bus number rapid 7 from Sapporo bus interchange). Check-in timing is pretty strict at 3pm so suggest to take the bus from Sapporo after 1pm to minimise waiting time to check in. Hotel is in an onsen town with nothing much else to see or do. But is quaint and peaceful in its own right. Receptionists are friendly and can speak some simple English. Other staff like cleaning or housekeeping staff are friendly too but speak only Japanese. Room is clean and yukatas were provided for us to wear and go around in the hotel. The futon was also really good to sleep in. Room was of a decent size for 3 people. The breakfast and dinner spread was very good, and the quality was above average. We enjoyed both meals there. The highlight was the onsen, with 4 different types of pools (not-so-hot, hot, Jacuzzi and outdoor). First time experience was abit awkward but got used to it very quickly. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole onsen experience. Highly recommended for those who are looking for a nice onsen experience.

Exceptional”
It was really cold (-17 degrees Celcius) when we got to the hotel, so coming from a tropical country who was just recovering from flu, I was coughing the whole time I was doing our check-in procedures. The staff gave me medicines for my cough, which I really appreciated! :) The hotel is less than a 3min walk from the bus stop from Sapporo. :) The breakfast is a buffet one with a lot of choices. They have variety of drinks also from hot to cold beverages. For dinner, which is also included in the package when you book a room, includes one generous piece of crab! Choices are great! The onsen bath is what I enjoyed the most. They have this outside onsen bath which has a contrast of the sub zero temperature and the hot spring bath. It was so awesome! The room is traditional Japanese with tatami mat. Although there's something to improve with the bathroom since the bathtub leaked when it was drained. :) Still 5* since all other things made up for it. :)

Great experience and marvellous view during snow season....highly recommended”
Will definitely recommend this place to friends. Free bus shuttle need to pre-book, waiting zone just right in front the Sapporo Clock Tower - NHK entrance. However the pick up time at 3pm but Japanese is very punctuality on time its better to reach in advance by 2.30pm. If the coach is full and you will need to wait for next round. The dinner in the hotel is awesome but a little bit too early for closing - 5pm - 7pm. Tips: The shuttle service is not only send to one hotel, hence it's better to check with the driver if you are reaching the right resort/hotel before you get down.

Good for families and important to note Japanese name of hotel for self drive”
Overall good experience. Paid a little more for a nice 4-bed with a tatami living area. Room most comfortable. Good onsen area. Good variety for breakfast and dinner. Hotel front desk initially inform us to wait at lobby as we still have half hour to check-in time. But within 15 minute after we spoke on where to get some afternoon ramen, they informed us our room is ready! Easy to explore nearby on foot. One thing to self drive traveller, is to note the Japanese name of the hotel as is written on top of building. We circled around 3 times to finally get here.

Relax, Rejuvenate & Reset”
It was a good hotel stay with a plenty of things to keep us occupied in hotel - a large onsen, massage chairs, good variety of dinner buffet and breakfast. Only thing is that while the Agoda website allowed us to select “No Smoking option, there was no such room in the hotel. If you are sensitive to cigarette smell, it might not work for you. They were nice about it in that upon mentioning the smell to the staff, they quickly arranged a air-purifier. Over all, we are happy with our stay.

Exceptional”
Thank you for the stay. The place was perfect! The onsen was so clean and relaxing. The hotel room looks a little aged but nevertheless, well maintained and clean. The surrounding ambient was also perfect especially during Autumn. I even had a successful proposal/engagement at a beautiful park opposite the hotel with traditional Japanese clothes provided by the hotel. I definitely will come back one day for our anniversary. Thank you so much!

Old hotel but nice. Dinner not much variety but is good bcos there r not many restaurants nearby. Walkable to many attractions. We love the hotel hot spring. Worth a try. The tatami mattress is so good n comfortable. The hotel is so lovely that they prepare a traditional dessert in our room, will definitely come back again, for sure.

Nice and big onsen”
Very nice experience at the onsen. Room is clean but a bit small for us with family of 4. Breakfast and dinner were great and staff are nice. Overall we had a pleasant stay in this hotel.

Can try”
Location good. Staff friendly (let your checkin earlier if the room is ready), because of dinner and breakfast buffet provided, the price is acceptable(taste not bad). When u move in to the room they got hot water, tea bags and some japanese cookies ready on your desk. When having buffet dinner they will go to your room prepare your mattress on the tatami. The only bad thing is you are not given any complimentary cards to access other onsen. You can only access to this hotel onsen.

Dinner is so nice, especially grill beef. All you can eat. Location for some rooms is not good as other hotel, if you pay less.

Kind of old, but comfortable stay and value for money!”
For the price I pay here, I enjoy the stay. Even through the facilitates are kind of old, but that doesn't matter a lot with the friendly staff and cleanness. Osen is big and comfortable, food of the buffet is quiet plenty.

Exceptional service!”
I have a LARGE tattoo on my body and I emailed their customer service about enjoying their onsen with it. They responded immediately and politely. They tactfully explained that Japanese society still has an old view on it but gave me a great alternative of booking a private onsen (with a small fee but it's so worth it)! Let me tell you, yes. YES. A million times YES!They were polite, graciously accommodating, and any question I had for them they answered patiently always with a smile even through email. I had at least 10 questions through email and they made sure I was taken care of even if it was a small group of 3 and we weren't exactly rolling in money.
