Always service with a smile ”

    Good service

It was Christmas time and staff always greeted with Merry Christmas. Room, lobby and dining area very clean. Good and cheap food but service in dining area is a bit slow. If you like to be away from touristy areas this is the hotel for you. Guadalupe is an exiting Pinoy centre. It is an MRT station as well as many buses, jeepneys and tricycles. Plumbing is a major problem. It is also a short stay hotel so many couple fill the rooms. When the hotel is full the hot water and pressure is a problem. Last day we were there there was a pipe break and corridor and rooms on our floor were flooded. SOGO Guada, now is the time to fix the plumbing. If you get it fixed your rating will be much higher.

Location is good and chepest price

The Hotel situvated at a heart of the Makati city and it is comfortable with most of things. Specially access to roads and restaurents and shoping areas. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The only nagative thing is the hotel does not have lots amenities, but with comparing the price, it is very affordable.

    Location, location, location.

Very convenient getting around, full of amenities around, the only thing bad is the wifi, i did not have the user id nor the user password for the first day, it was kept confidential by the staff, though they assisted me to key in and unsuccessful, only on the second day of my stay that i saw a red plastic standy at my dressing table displaying the wifi id and password and i had to check out of the hotel soon. the wifi have got too many sources and choosing one is also a waste of time.

    lots of minor problems”

booked in on 16th to room 627, first impression of the room was very nice, it was clean and well presented, however we later found that the following was in need of repair, 1. the toilet could not be stopped from release water into the bowl and this caused a constant noise during the night, even with the bathroom door closed, 2. the water was lukewarm and never got hot for a good shower, 3. the ac was set to a limit but it was just blowing warm air into the room, i had to keep the door open most of the time, 4. the remote for the tv was not working at all, we informed reseption about the problems and left for the day, on return we find nothing had changed except for the remote which was in parts on the table, when we asked preception about it they said they tried to fix all but couldnt, as i was only there for the nights i didnt ask for another room nor was offered one, i was supposed to stay for 3 night but i left after two nights and tried sogo. rotunda, sogo.rotunda. again first impressions was good, the room was tidy and neat, i looked at the toilet and it did not leak, when i returned in the evening it seemed that the corridor/room near me had been under repair as they was a constant humming of something and quite a strong smell of laguer/paint? 2. the remote did not work at all. 3. in the morning i used the toilet for the first time only to urinate,i pushed for water only find that it filled up with mess and dirty water, it almost came over the top of the basin, it went down very slowly and left lots of dirty spots over the basin, i tried again to clear the mess but while the water came out it didnt drain out as fast as it should do, at this point i decided it best to leave for another hotel,

    big room, price, helpful staff

After reading some of the other reviews on this hotel, I took the gamble and stayed the night. We had a suite on the top floor and it was large enough for a family of 4. It wasn't dirty and I found it to be quite a good value. I didn't stay on the lower levels since I got the nicest room they had. The sound from the street didn't bother me, but I would imagine it would be much louder on the lower floors as a major road passes next to the hotel.

I am very disappointed, I order premium, I got standard room. The first day I got a room which air condition is a very old one, very noisy; the second room the toilet was not doing, so very dirty; the third room the Television was not good. The hotel really not for family, only for adult, you can rent a room only for three hours. I stayed for four nights, not even once the room was cleaned, the same cover bed, cover pillow, the same towel. I have to pay everything, even for drinking water, there is nothing free, and no internet.

The room is quite clean...the staff are friendly

I didn 't quite have a good night's sleep for three reasons. First, the airconditioning can't be adjusted. It was cold in the room. Either you switch it off or on. Second, You hear noises from the outside and the nearby rooms. Third, the towels and blankets which are supposed to be colored white are grayish in color...Perfume in the room was kinda strong for me, too.. This hotel is recommended for short time stay only but for overnight stay I'd rather go to more expensive hotels where I can better relax and have a good night sleep

So i immidately call sogo guada if their room attendant found my pocket wifi, but sad to say the staff said he/she did not found, but i am 101% sure that i just put it in bed. The pocket wifi is really new,coz i bought that on the day during i stay in that hotel. The supervisor is really nice, friendly and accommodating but i do not trust the staff who clean up my room after check out. He lie that he havent found my pocket wifi.

Disregard of Noise during sleeping/rest hours.”

hot/cold water for bathing, air-conditioned room, good size of bed, that is it

I got a sleepness night on my stay. Why? People are cleaning outside where the noise is unbearable and irritating and annoying. Imagine, early in the morning when cleaning/vacuuming schedules are done. People voices are very irritating. There is no soundproofing that client like me can heard the noises very well inside the room. The management knew this but it seems like it is not being heard if ever a complaint of the same nature is brought in. What a disappointing stay. No wonder it is rated a 2-star hotel. I would give it a one star. There should be an oversight committee that should review all these nuisances. And they must.

    not really a good hotel”

for just an overnight stay will be better

This is the worst hotel ever that we stayed! I came to know this hotel thru my officemate and she said that the hotel is ok. Searched the net for the site and looked ok. We made the booking as early as 1st week of January and paid full amount for 3d2n for 2 rooms inclusive of transfer on Jan25th. Called 4x for our confirmation booking and the staffs that I spoked to are not aware of our booking. 2 days prior to our departure, i called again to check if they already made the arrangements, but to my dismay thay didnt made the arrangements. Good thing I called to check. Upon arrival, we were given the new rooms with lacking or not functioning facilities with paint smell and construction. We requested for change of rooms, we were given the worst room, drainage and sink not working resulting to flooding. Heater also not working. Almost whole day of construction noise, as early as 7am!!!! They should be responsible enough to think the welfare of their guests! Foul smell of the CR. We complained abt this at the reception area but they did not respond. On our 2nd night, we received phone calls at around 130am. to 530am. Someone is also knocking our door and ringing the doorbell every now and then. We called the reception area to ask their security to check on this matter but the call and the riging of our doorbell still pursued. The next day we talked to the manager abt this and he only offered us to transfer to another room. Too late since we are about to leave that afternoon. The manager is not accomodating at all. Really a traumatic experience for us! Not worth your money and not worth staying!

    Very small room”

    Nothing

This hotel room is very small and no window. But there was a door between common part and the room. It was not worried about in the common part noise because there were two doors in the room. The flow of the water of a bathroom was bad. However, since the convenience store and the fast food restaurant were close, it was very convenient. The hotel was along main line but was not worried about the noise because i stayed at the high-rise floor.

    More motel than hotel”

    friendly staff

The walls too thin and the hotel doesn't seem to know what direction it wants to go in. Has an advertisement running in the lobby of a couple with a young child enjoying their stay. The reality is is has a waiting list of couples checking in for short time arrangements at all times of the day. The walls were so thin that it left nothing to the imagination as to why that long line and short time rates were available.

Big room, good menu and easy access to all transpo

This hotel type is really for lovers who needs a couple of hours for themselves. I got the regency which has 1 big bed and a small 1. The rooms stinks and looks old. I stayed for 4 days and i was informed that they dont clean the rooms.they only clean the room when you check out.you also hav to request to change the towels. Blankets are as thin as the bed sheets.bed so uncomfortable.and since the hotel is located along edsa street which is always traffic and full of bus, thats whAt u hear the whole night, noisy bus, the train and staff talking in the hallway.

    nothing so much.

i booked that day and we all know that hotel check-in is 2 pm but that day i arrived around 9:15 plus pm... everyone was busy and like no time to entertain guess and when i go to the reception area which very small and a lot of people inside there i think 5-6 people including one staff outside i waited 5 mins for them to assist me with the manager i guess and ask me to wait to check the booking ... i sat somewhere and i notice while waiting couples are checking in arrived after my arrival and they assist so fast. they pay and gave the room key already and me waiting on their lobby for almost 20 mins and its sucks... after that they told me its ok and when i get into the room no power.. i ask one staff why is it like that he told me he will call the reception and then the power is on... after 15 mins it shot down again and i was so post and call the reception what is going on.. cause they haven't put yet my booking in the system thats why the power shut down which is stupidity before you let the guess go to the room everything should be settle.. i don't know where and what kind of training they have.. the staff only good in greeting guess good evening.. good morning ...good afternoon. anyway all in all i am so disappointed.. good price but too messy service... and wifi also not good.
