Exceptional”
A great one-night stay for my partner's birthday. This was an exciting time with all the room facilities such as a jacuzzi bath, steam room, and karaoke! Recommend for anyone who wants to have fun, staff very attentive. There was no real view from the rooms and not much natural light however this is usually the case with love hotels I believe as that is not the point of this type of hotel. Overall great experience and we wished we stayed another night. Perfect location in the heart of Shinjuku.

An awesome experience”
Entering your room is like escaping the world outside. From the bedroom to the bathroom the entire hotel room is filled with amenities, gifts and features. We particularly enjoyed the sauna and massive television! The staff are incredibly professional and friendly. We stayed here for the last night of our honeymoon and were surprised by the extra effort put into our stay by Suzuki Toshiaki-san and his hotel staff. Thank you for making our last stay in Japan so amazing. We will gladly visit again.

Interesting & Nice Hotel”
Absolutely LOVED the bathroom and in-room sauna in this hotel -- what a treat! We had a standard queen room and it was quite small, but the bathroom made up for it! The bed is a bit hard, so ask for a double mattress to help. Location is great, safe and provides easy access to the subway station. I was afraid this place may feel seedy (or be located in a gross area of the city), but it is not. Everything was SUPER clean with fresh (plastic-wrapped) towels/toiletries added each day. The manager was also very quick to communicate with us whenever prompted via email which was very appreciated. Oh, and it's conveniently located very close to the Robot Restaurant, which was fabulous! :) All in all, good stay and for the price, I'd probably select this place again.

Great Love Hotel w/Friendly Staff”
First experience with a Love Hotel in Japan, and I loved it. My room had a sauna, jacuzzi tub, karaoke machine, and the staff was ready to help 24/7. The hotel is located in Shinjuku, but incredibly safe and very close to Shinjuku Station. Will definitely be returning to this hotel during my next stay in Tokyo

Our private Tokyo ”
Sauna steam room, jacuzzi, karaoke machine in the room. Greeted and welcomed by Mr Suzuki. Showed us all the amenities with a smile. This is a love hotel so if Kitsch is not your style then go elsewhere. If you’re into cozy hideaways with a Vegas feel... this place is for you. It’s EXTREMELY clean and comfortable. We loved it. Right in the heart of everything but on a side street so it’s super quiet. Worth every yen.

Great room with huge TV and great videos on demand. Loved the soaking jacuzzi bathtub with a TV to watch while you're in the tub.

Ok, I was skeptical when booking this since I was traveling with my sister. We were well aware what type of hotel this was and it was the best hotel we stayed in Japan. The room was so spacious and had many amenities. We had a huge tub with a sauna. Where else could you get that! The staff accommodated us as much as they could and the hotel is within walking distance of the metro station, Shinjuku, and k-town. I would definitely stay here again. Worth every yen.

Disappointing”
Good points: Rooms are large, especially for Tokyo and staff reasonably friendly. Parking is also free which is great considering how expensive it is to park in Tokyo. Good location, 2 minutes walk for Shinjuku-higashi metro station. Bad points: Room wasn’t as clean as some other reviews suggest. It was clean enough not to complain but the carpet really needed a hoover. The pictures are deceptive, the rooms aren’t as nice as they appear, they look tired and in need of a renovation or at least a fresh paint. Car keys have to be handed in to reception for the duration of your stay and the room keys have to be handed back every time you leave the room to go out. These are rather strange policies and no one could explain why this had to be done? Overall, the hotel was acceptable but I wouldn’t stay there again. I have stayed in nicer hotels in Tokyo for cheaper.

Room to move and "Oh so central!"”
Excellent at all levels! Tokyo is a massive place full of very small accommodation options or exceptionally expensive ones. J-Mex gives you a reasonable sized room that is exceptionally well serviced at a reasonable cost. Mr Suzuki along with the rest of the staff are fantastic and as with seemingly everything in Japan do their utmost to ensure you have everything you want or need. Be mindful, this is a Love Hotel and there are porn channels on the tv aswell. But there are also buttons on the remote that change the channel and there are a range of VOD movies to choose from in a number of language options. Location is brilliant, the entire place is kept immaculate and the room amenities are great. We met lots of other western couples that were staying here during our two weeks and everyone felt the same. Get your head around the fact that it is a Love Hotel and you will have a fantastic stay in the heart of Tokyo life.

Great Stay in Japan”
We loved staying at the J-MEX. The instructions to get there from the station were a bit tricky to navigate the landmarks - we did arrived late at night, it was raining & we didn't have data for maps! So make sure you are prepared prior. Or have the address in Japanese for the cab driver. The staff were so wonderful. Nothing was a problem and if you needed any thing it was done immediately. The room as super clean and well appointed! Lots of styles & décor going on-but it was fabulous. We would totally go back & stay at JMEX. It was in a perfect position as well. Right in the middle of Shinjuku, close to stations & great bars & restaurants. You wont be disappointed! Thanks JMEX.

Amazing place to stay in Shinjuku!”
We had the most amazing time at J-Mex spa during our trip to Tokyo. The location was perfect, the room was outstanding, and Suzuki and the rest of the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful! The room had so many amazing amenities and thoughtful touches. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip! Highly recommend! Thank you for everything!

After days of staying in a small hotel rooms in Japan, the room here was a welcome change. Hotel was within 5 minutes walk from Higashi-Shinjuku station (Exit A1). We were greeted by Suzuki who brought us straight to our room - being a discreet hotel, checking-in was not required. Room facilities were clean and luxurious. The welcome gift was a bonus (and no it was nothing of adult theme genre). Overall, it is like a huge hotel room, with just some added stuff of adult nature that you can use... Sound proof room was a plus too. There are convenience stores, and food outlets nearby.

Very good”
We've stayed in Love hotels before, as we found them to be value for money. You get more for what you'd typically pay for in most Tokyo hotels. Pros: 1. Room size is quite spacious for Japanese Standards, which is normally compact small space. 2. There's a dry sauna, japanese bath in our room, with many little freebies (toiletries, facial products, etc.) 3. Built-in Karaoke in our room as well. We didn't use it, but we loved the idea of having one in the room. The room is also sound proof. 4. Suzuki, who I believe may be the Owner, was very accommodating and helpful. Very good English. He kindly held our luggages for several days and helped us get a taxi and translated our next destination. 5. Location is very close, about 7 mins walk to Higashi-Shinjuku (local metro). It's an area where most of the love hotels are. Cons: Not much. Most of the TV channels are porn - fyi. If it is your first time in Tokyo, perhaps stay closer to a JR main station - like Yamanote line, closer access to the touristy stuff. Because with this hotel, you'd need to transfer to a local metro. it's only 1 stop, so it's not a big deal, but if you have big luggages, it could be a pain. Our room did have a window, which you can open, but no views. Only street view. Not a big deal since we were out most of the time, but glad that we could open it.

Awesome!”
Could not fault this hotel, right around the corner for the metro/subway station, McDonald's and handy seven eleven. Easy stroll to main shinjuku with many restaurants, pubs and nightlife. Staff are very helpful. Room is clean and comes with so many added bonus an average hotel room would not including a roomy two person spa and sauna!! Would come back here again!!
