Family Stay”
Food was surprisingly good. Tented accomodations were fun and "authentic." Nice swimming pool that borders the park.
Stay was pleasant. Staff were helpful in all matters. Food was much better than anticipated. Evening entertainment was a plus. Swimming pool felt lovely after a hot day of safari-ing.

Average hotel but very helpful staff”
Food, staff and the lawn
Tiger Machan is an average property which is exorbitantly priced. The food is equally expensive as a five star property. I will put down my review as highlights and lowlights of my stay - Highlights- 1. The tent and its setup 2. The food 3. The hotel grounds- garden and landscape 4. The staff is very helpful and cooperative 5. The service is very good 6. The mutton or Laal Maas is their speciality Lowlights- 1. The management act like safari touts encouraging you for wrong choices of safari for their own monetary benefit 2. The food is exorbitantly priced 3. The cleanliness in the tent is not upto the mark 4. There is no electrician 24x7. So in case your room/tent develops a n electricity snag you have to spend the night in darkness- we experienced it 5. The location is far from the main gate of zone1-5 6. A glass of milk costs INR65/1.2USD and a bottle of water costs INR40/0.8USD I would recommend this hotel to my friends only if they are fine with the hotel rates.

Disappointed not to see tigers”
Location & Friendly staff
A great place to stay in Ranthambore especially as it’s one of the closest resorts to the park’s main gate. In summer it would be absolutely lovely with all the grounds, however in winter it was freezing & although they had 2 fires going in the garden in the evening, nowhere else in the resort was heated & this included the restaurant, where people were eating their meals like they were dining on the slopes of Everest. I read an earlier review which said that heaters were provided in winter……not sure how they managed to get one as we must have asked about 5 times for a heater, only to be told that it was a fire hazard to the tents so they were not given out. They did provide plenty of blankets though & even let us take them on the safari too. Breakfast buffet was limited but good.

Relaxing. Peaceful. Enjoyable”
Peacfulness. Location. Different
Lovely stay in the tents. Had the best night's sleep hearing the birds and wildlife in the background. Staff were very at tentative -but we were the only guests there. Food was slightly expensive but tasty nonetheless. Lovely grounds to relax in and close to the Tiger reserve.

Good economy hotel in the lap of nature”
Garden, food, friendly staff
Very good food, friendly staff, best thing is the garden which is full of birds. It is a nature lovers' paradise. They just need to do pest control regularly as the open tents are prone to insects and lizards from the garden.

Great outdoor experience ”
Tents are well maintained and comfortable
The experience of living in a tent was excellent. The tents get very cold in winter. The hot water does not run all the time which can create issues in winter. The break fast was nice but the food runs out soon after start time and is not replenished. Break fast starts up late 10 am which is ridiculious if you have to start up early to travel to the next city. Not much too see and the Tigers are a hoax. Very badly managed reserve. Retaurant food is expensive. But the food is tasty.
