Convenient hotel near a subway and walking distance to most tourist spots”
Situated at a corner of a street, this hotel is conveniently located near the Spagna subway. It is a few minutes walk to the Spanish steps, 10 minutes walk to the Trevi fountain. It is also about 20 minutes walk to Santa Maria della Vittoria and about 45 minutes walk to the Colloseum. It also took us about 30 mins walk to the Pantheon. In our 3 nights stay, we felt it is very well located to access the MUST SEES in Rome. The room is relatively decent sized but we got a room with no view (unless you count seeing the window of another hotel/restaurant a view). The hotel seems to be disabled friendly with necessary facilities to help people up the stairs if the lift is not spacious enough. All in all, we had a very good experience staying in Trevi and we hope to come back to Rome again.

The Trevi Contradiction”
There are good things to tell and points not so good: The picture of the front of the building is misleading. The hotel is on the 4th and 5th floors. The first 3 floors are taken by doctors and other professionals. The entrance would do nicely in the Bronx. There's construction going on and everything is dusty. The 5th-floor front desk told us that in the future the new reception will be relocated to the ground floor. There is one elevator with a width of 90 cm (3 feet). The two of us and our luggage barely fit in! My wife was looking at me with a face that says "What in the world did you do?" Arriving on the fifth floor, we found a reception not bigger than my office at home. However, the lady receptionist was very friendly and smiling, but that didn't help much at the moment. To make matters worse, there was no wifi in the rooms as advertised. Only limited wifi in the "lounge" cum breakfast room. At that moment I wanted to leave. The recptionist quickly thought it over and said she would change our room from the 4th to the 5th floor. There was a room where you could plug in a cable to a wall socket to connect to your laptop. She provided the cable. I mentioned that my wife had a Macbook and couldn't live without going online. Well, that couldn't be helped. There was only one socket. After unpacking and using the bathroom, I noticed a typical ADSL socket in the wall above the toilet. Strange place but beggars can't be choosers. I got my laptop and plugged it in and voila, it was working. We could have both laptops online. That afternoon I bought a 5-meter cable. The room was perfect. Big bathroom, abundant hot water, wardrobe, TV etc. Very good breakfast. The location is also perfect. McDonalds two blocks away. Every thing is walking distance, the Trevi fountain and Spanish steps are very close and we even walked to the Vatican, Pantheon and Colosseum. Shopping on the Corso. We were happy. We even loved the Trevi Collection. All is well that ends well.

enjoyable stay, great value ”
Was a surprisely pleasant stay. We were impressed with the comfortable room size and the hotel looked new and clean with a modern design. Nothing too fancy about breakfast but we really appreciated the hot food selection. The best thing of Trevi Collection is its great location. A mere 5 mins walk to Spanish Steps and shopping. 15 mins walk to Trevi Foundation. 30 mins walk to Colossum but you might choose to take the metro located at spanish steps ( spagna) just 4 stops away.

Fabulous central hotel”
The staff at this hotel were second to none. We left our phone in the taxi on the way to the hotel and the receptionist Sonya was so helpful in telephoning the taxi company and speaking directly with the driver in Italian for us, and we got our phone back. The hotel is centrally located between all the best attractions. The room was very spacious indeed and very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and nice and firm. We had a glorious balcony with stunning views over the rooftops to the hills beyond. Breakfast is free and includes a hot food buffet which was very good! The rainfall shower in the room was fantastic. You get plenty of fluffy towels. We will definitely be coming back to Hotel Trevi Collection.

Nice and Cosy Hotel in an excellent location in the heart of Rome”
The staff of Trevi Collection Hotel was nice and the location of the place was well situated in the heart of Rome. The walls of the rooms are a little hollow, so you can hear others during entry or exit.

The hotel is nice ”
The location of the hotel is perfect ,really close to fontani di trevi , spanish steps .Only advice to travellers - if you need a taxi to the airport arrange it yourself .The guy in the front desk suggested their service for 55 or a taxi for 30 ,we choose the taxi and it costed 50 ,not a big deal but still irritating

Trevi in the middle”
What a surprise. This was a fantastic hotel in a great location. ALL buildings in Rome are old but Trevi has well renovated and furnished this building. The staff were always helpful

Great hotel and location!”
The main building was beautiful, clean, nicely renovated and decorated and our room was spacious, clean, and bright. Breakfast was great as well. Trevi fountain, Spanish steps were a minute walk and excellent shopping and restaurants all around. Will definitely stay there again!

Excellent location”
Perfectly situated hotel, surrounded by restaurants. Our room was basic but very spacious and clean. Lovely powerful shower. We only had the breakfast one morning as the room was a tight squeeze and we preferred to wander and find something ourselves the other mornings. The room had air con which other hotels don’t seem to in early April. Staff were very friendly and obliging. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Couldn't be farther from the truth”
Don't even attempt to say there if you are travelling in a larger group on a mid-sized coach. The Hotel is in a zone area which does not allow for mid sized coaches to enter. Unless you want to lug 20 KG UPHILL over COBBLESTONES, avoid at all cost to your back and feet. However if you are travelling by standard taxi, well and good. You couldn't really fault the hotel in any manner....except they do not note that the nearby attractions like the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps are all under heavy restoration until mid 2016. If those were the main reasons for you choosing the hotel, stay away, you will be mighty disappointed.

Upgraded to a nice room BUT on top of a jazzrestarant”
We were pleasently surprised to be upgraded to a large very nice room upon our arrival back to the hotel after a 2 day stay in Salerno. At the first stay everything was to our liking. Great service and kind personel. However our room (number 214) turned out to be situated on the second floor, directly above some sort of jazzplace. The volume was insane. The live music started playing at 10 pm and ended at 02am. We needless to say, didn't get much sleep that night before the taxi came at 06 am to pick us up to go to the airport. I seriously doubt that the staff knew nothing about this seeing how the jazzplace had live music every night at 22pm. Had I stayed more than one night I would have demanded a change or my money back. With that said. The other rooms we visitied and lived in during both our stays were good.

Great location, friendly staff and clean and tidy”
I would stay here again. Nice location, nice room, very clean, friendly staff, modern, nice selection for breakfast, free sky tv and many more plus points. Down sides ( this looks a lot but it does not spoil the hotel) When we were there in march it was still classed as winter so they did not have the air conditioning working even though it was 24 degrees, 5 degrees on a night so it was no problem. The hot tub was not working while we where there. They gave us a bad recommendation for a romantic restaurant (they sent us to a tourist trap). Can't order a taxi from the hotel as they supply a 47 euro private car when a taxi costs only 30 euro

Great location, friendly staff!”
We were greeted by their friendly staff the moment we entered the hotel. We were told they upgraded their hotel so all the rooms are in the same building. Rooms were comfortable and clean. And location was near most attractions! Had their buffet breakfast. Price was great for the spread ^^

MANY WONDERFUL HISTORIC SITES. ”
NEWLY DECORATED. WILL HAVE NEW LOBBY AND BAR NEXT MONTH. CLEAN ROOM BUT VERY SMALL. POOR VALUE FOR MONEY. GOOD LOCATION, NEAR TREVI FOUNTAIN AND MANY GOOD CAFE AROUND. SHOULD HAVE HOT WATER KETTLE IN ROOM TO MAKE TEA OR COFFEE.

central and simple”
The hotel was very nice, a larger room than expected. Modern bathroom and decor. Twin beds were pushed together but this wasn't a problem. Very clean and all new facilities. Staff helpful and hotel in a great position. Air conditioning wasn't able to be turned off thought, so it was a constant cool 16degrees in the room - we took out the hotel card at night to stay warm. Would recommend hotel to others.

We chose this hotel due to it’s central location between the Trevi Fountain & Spanish Steps. Hotel was clean and comfortable and staff extremely helpful. Good variety at breakfast.
