Positive : (1) The location of this hotel is great. (A) It’s about a 2 minute walk from lobby to beach. (B) There are two night markets near by with the famous Nachat Market being about a 5 minute walk. (2) Hotel room and bathroom was spacious. The water pressure from the shower was strong. (3) Staff are friendly and address all my concerns patiently and professionally. (4) There are two pools. There are also some boardgames near the checking desk that can be used. Negative: (1) The AC. I stayed in room 401 and the AC was a ceiling fixed AC. It looked very old and needed cleaning. Well the AC termostat read 27 degrees Celsius. I lowered it to 17 to try to cool the room down. I we t out to eat and came back about 2 hours later and the room was still hot. I went to the front desk and asked if someone could help me. They send up maintenance who brought with him a device that assesses the cooling temperature of the room but he had placed the device right at the AC opening and said the AC was fine. He said give it another hour. So I left again and when i can back the termostat was still reading at 27. I went to front desk asking for a change of room as the room was not cooling. This time I got a different maintenance personnel who brought the same gadget as the pervious. The places the machine in various areas of the room and said that perhaps the w too big so the AC cant cool it all down. So he suggested a fan to help circulate the cool air and then many by morning the room will be cool. at check out the next day the temperature had dropped 1 degree. (2) while the room was clean the walls of the bathroom were stained. I am not sure if it was blood - but there was a smear of a hand print and some spinning of droplets on the wall. After the AC incident i just ignored it .
