it was great to stay in Fukuoka Tenjin. the room was tiny and comfort. bathroom was quite spacious. receptionist was friendly. location is also perfect. everyshop and store around there. very good price!

Great location, cleanliness slightly lacking”
The hotel was close to the intercity bus terminal, as well as Tenjin Station. Shopping and restaurants were conveniently less than a block away. Unfortunately, the washroom wasn't very clean and smelled a bit moldy. However, the staff helped by moving us to an upgraded room. This room didn't smell, although you could still tell it hadn't been deep-cleaned in a while. Overall, the value was still good.

Very good location but it is very dirty hotel. many many rubbish/dust under the bed and TV and no one to clean room even requested. All facilities are old, e.g the bedsheet like used thousand year and with pills that I have even seen in other hotel. The mattress are seriously lost elastic. It is the worst hotel in my trip of Fukuoka.

Room Size”
Koko hotel at Kumamoto was highly recommended (booked Deluxe room which face Kumamoto castle). However, Koko hotel at Tenjin room size is simply too small to stay. Take note there is only one washer cum dryer at the hotel which is coin laundry and it was dirty.

the bed is not comfortable that me and my husband could not sleep well, it is old with smell, and the bed is not flat the staff is not helpful: when i did the check-in, i thought the staff only knew japanese then it is ok, the communication between us and the staff who speaks in japanese is not easy but later on, the girl next to the staff knew how to speak in english and she did not offer any help to explain to us also, agoda charges me 20% for the tax and other charges, the hotel explained to me that only 8-10% VAT is received by them, i have also discussed with Agoda for this and asked them to give an explanation why Agoda charges me 20% for the tax and i need to pay accommodation tax to the hotel upon arrival, they staff named Thayalasankaran did not explain the details to us with poor attitude and even shut down the communication chat

The location is very close to the stations and it's amazing to find many shops and restaurants within walking distance. The staff is nice but one minor things to improve is the coined laundry service: the hotel has only one machine and we have to spend 2 hours to dry the clothes.

A hotel with a great location”
Pros: 10 mins walk from Tenjin underground shopping street (west 12 A exit.) If you love shopping, location is great, there is a family mart opposite to the road There is a Donki discount store (24 hours) on the right. There is also a BicCamera if you wanna get electronic gadgets Once you get to the Tenjin Underground shopping street, you will know where the subway is. And near there, there are connections to 3 big department stores If you love eating, there are many eateries once you cross the opposite street and there is a Mister Donut and Mcdonalds once you walk to the direction of Donki Discount store Cons: None
