Greenwich O/night . Great beds, pillows but noisy sheets!
Cafe on ground floor had a good menu for breakfast. We were in town for a party in Greenwich & this was ideal. We would definitely stay again if we needed to be on the North Shore. The rooms face onto the Pacific Highway but weren't that noisy. Rooms are a good size with comfy beds.

Was expecting more
Maybe I was unlucky but my room was pretty average, tiny bathroom, thin Windows therefore cold and noisy, terrible TV reception and loudly slamming door. The hallway outside smelt very strong of something unpleasant I couldn't put my finger on (level 2). On the plus, the bed was really comfy and the staff were all very nice. Sadly I was expending more from a 4 star hotel, and I have to say the hotel urban in Melbourne was exactly the same.

Better than expected
This hotel is great value - friendly, clean, modern, sleek, all the conveniences, great sized room, beautiful quality linen to sleep in. Despite having a room located on the Pacific Highway side of the hotel it was not noticeable and didn't interfere with sleep. It is located a manageable walking distance from St Leonard's train station even for those who are not super fit and feels safe even after dark.

Issues with the Cafe
There were issues with the cafe- meals sent to table still raw, items on the menu which were not available but which they didn't advise until I had sat and waited some time - apparently they were attempting to source the product - at 7:30pm. The room while very clean smelt stale and musty. Also although I had a Agoda receipt pre paying my room I was required to provide photo identification. I am an Australian traveling within Australua therefore do not require a passport, I was using taxis so did not need my drivers license but luckily I was carrying it as I was informed by the receptionist that without photo ID she could not check me into the hotel. After receiving fish uncooked twice I was wishing I didn't have photo ID.

It was okay!
I was expecting more ... its a dated building that they have updated. The AC in my room was not up to standard ... the TV was dated.

Just what I needed
I really enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Urban. It was convenient, clean and super comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The mini bar was well stocked with a good variety of drinks and snacks. Bonus points for the curtains having excellent window coverage (they really closed properly and there were no chinks to let in the early morning sun) and for windows that open (I love my fresh air). I didn't use the restaurant (partly because of reading some not-so-good reviews), so I can't comment on that. I was allocated Hotel Urban through a mystery deal, and I was very happy with the result and would come back again in the future.

Really good Hotel
Clean, confortable and good restaurant
Really good hotel, very clean, confortable and nice room, great shower. The downside is that the hotel is next to the Pacific Highway, which makes it noisy.
