Pleasant experience ”
The accommodations were very clean, and the hotel staff were friendly. Beds were a little hard, but the lovely bathroom made up for that. We had a nice breakfast in the morning which included various pastries, cheese, yogurt, juices, fruits and beverages.

Very loud at street side, in case you decided to stay it's better to pay on top and choose sea view room. Do not recommend with kids as seems this is the place where couples "meet" very loud :( Breakfast very poor, mostly sweet cakes. Not sure this is 3 star hotel, actually looks like for hostel

Let me just clarify why I've given this a low mark on location; We were a couple on holiday visiting Palermo and although this hotel is only a few kilometres from the City, the walk is almost impossible because of the crazy traffic, taking a taxi will add at least 50 Euros per day to your stay. Having said that the rooms were very clean and the staff were friendly as you'd expect. Ideal hotel for business or booking a celebration.

Good starting point for exploration of Palermo close to the port and with parking”
We were pleasantly surprised after reading other reviews on Google. The hotel seems to be renovated but not entirely - for example we only used the lift once, fortunately the stairs are wide and clean. The receptionists were very helpful and spoke good English, and their appeareance and behavior also had its roots in good 'ol days - which is not meant negatively - they always kept smile on their face even when very tired and responded with grace. The bathroom was clean and functional with good pressure of hot water and essentials provided. We didn't try the WiFi. The parking behind the hotel (and gate) is large enough and a great benefit to those coming by car. The area extends to the lawns by the sea and offers beautiful views to both sides of the bay. Public transport (bus and tram are both nearby) to Palermo center (i.e. train station) was not bad and costed €1.4 but we would not call it reliable and you need to be cautious. The only drawbacks during our stay in the hotel were 1) price/quality ratio and attention of waiters at the restaurant and 2) noise in the evening from some kind of weird discotheque (Saturday night).

Pros: The bed sheets were changed daily I think they mopped the floor, but were not overdoing it, not to clean it at least. Cons: We booked a double room, the bigger size, of at least 30 square meters, and we got another room, much smaller one. The breakfast was mainly pastry, sweets and no consistent bacon, or eggs or related. Door knob from the balcony was defective. The walls had different traces and should've been painted for several years.

Far from the centre but fantastic sea view ”
Top marks for the hotel accommodation and staff. I arrived from Catania by train and got drenched waiting over an hour for a bus that never came, so ended up paying €22 for a taxi. I discovered there were trams regularly running, the next day when i came into town, but buses in Sicily seem very hit and miss, and don't really run according to a timetable. 10/10 for the accom, but the restaurant was a huge disappointment, i had a been soup that was tasteless and a poor selection of beer. The breakfast served 10 types of cakes, a supermarket white bread, and a few slices of some bland cheese and ham, but you had to request it. With a little imagination, they could serve some local produce like olives, good cheese, vegetables like tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, onions. Decent locally baked bread. The waiters were then running about frantically at 9.50 taking everything away, followed by a cleaner sweeping the floor, even though breakfast was from 7-10am. Very little concern to make the guests feel relaxed. They then disappeared for going home or elsewhere, hence their frantic behaviour just before 10. With a few simple changes, a proper breakfast bufé, start cleaning up and let the guests not feel stressed out, it could make this the best hotel in Palermo.

The hotel is placed very close to a bus station which can take you in the city centre. The breakfast is good, but mainly sweet options: cereal, various cakes, jam, croissants, coffee, and tea. There is also warm milk available and yogurt (plain and fruits). The only savory option was boiled eggs. The room was with a street view, so it was very very noisy at all times, with limited possibilities to let fresh air in. The window was let open almost at all times because there was a bad smell coming from the bathroom and the room was filled with dust from the traffic outside. Maybe insist on having a sea view room, so your stay will be more pleasurable. Overall 3/5.

Bus or tram ride from centre. Some breakfast items disappeared or reappeared without explanation (eggs & butter most frequently). Room had shower & air con. Tv small & mounted high on the wall. Shower was good. Get room at back as main road at front is busy.

Mediocre even for a discount ”
I had a terrible experience. I couldn’t have a good nights sleep at all. Mosquitoes were flying in during the night( there are no nets on the windows), so, decided to close the windows, but then the heat kept, lack of air and suffocation woke me up. Tried a room on both front and back side of the building but both were disappointing. Even though the bathrooms have bathtubs I wasn’t allowed to take a bath( removed the plugs from the rooms) for some ridiculous reason. Besides the bathroom was dusty on my arrival and after the cleaning lady “cleaned” in the next morning.
