Hotel Villa de Barajas is convenient for corporate guests thanks to the proximity to the central business district and the Trade Fair Center. As can be expected with a top-rate chain, Hotel Villa de Barajas offers plenty of on-site facilities, including a high-tech gym and currency exchange. The International Cuisine restaurant serves delicious and generous portions at reasonable prices, and the daily full buffet breakfasts are a great way to start the day.

Love this hotel. Simple check-in procedure, within a few hundred metres of the Metro, with connection to the airport. Very comfortable beds, nice, clean bathroom. Easy to walk out to bars, shops and a Dia supermarket. The only reason I left off a star on facilities is that breakfast included would be nice, and the Internet could be faster. Small niggles though, I would not hesitate to stay here every time I am using the airport.
Great value for money and location”
Really nice place, no complaints about the place, price or location - they are all great benefits. Only the hot water seemed to have a bit of a pipe/rusty smell, would recommend buying your own bottled water for drinking.
Good airport hotel”
We returned to Best Western Barajas after 3 weeks in Spain.Once again the shuttle service was speedy and efficient, and we were given a pleasant room overlooking the leafy street. We enjoyed the complimentary coffee in the lobby. The hotel is in the suburb of Barajas, unlike the usual airport hotel,so there was plenty going on round about.Unfortunately there was not much of a dining scene, but there were plenty of bars serving food. There is a metro close by if one felt the urge to go into central Madrid. All in all an excellent experience which we would do again.
Very convenient stay close to airport.”
This hotel was everything we wanted,a shuttle bus that came quickly when we called, comfortable beds, free coffee in the lobby, free computers in the lobby, and a surprisingly good breakfast included in the reasonable price. It was all a very pleasant experience.
would not book the room in this hotel again”
The hotel cannot be rated as 3 stars hotel, there was no restaurant accessible, no other facilities other than the very basic ones, in my bathroom there was an unflushed toilet and dirty bath tub, the double bed booked turned up to be two single beds stuck together, the window could not be opened to let some fresh air in, etc. Would not recommend it to any one. Would not book the room there again. And most definitely would not pay this much money for this low a level of service.
Great stay but no airport shuffle”
I would recommend Villa de Barajas but not Agoda. Main reason we booked this hotel was because I searched "hotels with airport shuttle" near to Madrid airport, but waited for an hour and still no sign of shuttle. Had to ask 3 shuttle drivers before somebody told me there wasn't one, and when I finally got to hotel by Metro and complained, receptionist said Agoda had been told several times that airport shuttle was discontinued in Jan 2017. Other than that very friendly staff, great stay, beautiful clean rooms (could maybe do with air conditioning), breakfast was good and fantastic value!
Wonderful Hotel, Great Value”
I highly recommend this hotel for someone wanting to stay close to the airport and in Madrid, as we did. Its very clean...very nice facilities, great room, and a wonderful, included breakfast that is great! The staff was really friendly and nice, and very helpful. The hotel is not necessarily close to the historical, touristy things to do in Madrid, but, it IS close to the Metro, which with a little patience is easy to utilize (the Metro is also very clean). The Metro, like everything in Spain....directional signage on the Metro is a bit iffy, but otherwise good...getting back to the hotel. The bed is quite comfortable, there are extra pillows (yay!), and its very quiet. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to stay in and explore Madrid, especially if you don't mind taking the Metro to the city center, and want to be close to the airport!!
Really near the airport, near the metrostation Bajaras.”
Walls are very thin, didn’t sleep all night becase somebody was screaming in the hotel, people around started beating in the walls for him to shut up at 2 A.M. Food ok. Next time i will try to find another place were you can rest.
Great hotel for stopover ”
The only downside is not the hotel's fault : the first metro in the morning is way too late in order to catch an early flight. Used Uber and that worked fine.
Pros- metro is very close, staff is friendly, and madrid is beautiful city! Cons- none
Enjoyed our stay”
Our stay was wonderful. We had to be located where we could access the airport easily and Best Western made that possible. The shuttle service was very convenient, the driver was very friendly and knowledgeable, the ride was fine!
Superb and helpful staff”
We were exhausted frim travelling and stayed here because of proximity to airport. Staff was so nice and friendly and very helpful with direction for refueling car, connections to airport, etc. The staff really made our stay- they were above and beyond what we usually experience , especially the men at the front desk. When our electricity conked out in room, they immediately helped us move into even nicer room. We will recommend this hotel to everyone who travels to Madrid. Thank you!
A pleasant enough stay”
The hotel was perfectly clean and only 10 minutes from the airport. Numerous bars and restaurants along the main road. I was only passing through so did not really have time to explore the surrounding area, but pleasant enough.
lovely hotel and service with a smile”
we stayed one night to catch an early flight next day. tiny room but very clean. there's some bars nearby and also a burger king next to the hotel. not far away there is a subway station named Barajas of Line 8, so it's very easy to get to the city. staff helpful and very kind.
Great place for a layover”
If you are connecting through Madrid airport, this is an excellent place to stay over for a night or even two, if you wish to look around here a bit. Be aware that this is the town of Barajas, and Madrid City is a significant distance away, so plan accordingly.
Reasonable budget hotel near Madrid Airport”
This hotel is about 5 minutes away from Madrid airport and provides a free shuttle bus. On arriving at T2 follow signs to shuttle bus area which is at the far left on the lane. It is a small hotel with small rooms that are good enough for a one night stopover but not really suitable for longer than that. The rooms are modern and reasonably well decorated. Initially I could not get any English channels on the TV and the WIFW was not working but they came to the room and sorted the TV the rebooted their router and the WIFI started to work although a not particularly fast. There is a small breakfast room downstairs from the small reception desk and early morning coffee is available for those taking the early shuttle to the airport. The first shuttle bus starts at 0600 hrs
close to the airport but very small rooms”
clean , close to airport so if you need just roof above your head this will do it . there is also parking available we had the car rented so this was imported to us . very easy to get to airport , also very helpfull staff .very small rooms with the smallest bed in the hotel i have ever seen , but again for one night it was ok . much better price if you booked thru agoda about 30% less than on site .
Perfect if you need to be near the airport”
this is the perfect place to stay if you need to be near the madrid airport. they offer free transfers (not all of them do, so watch out, as a taxi to and from the airport can be expensive and make a seemingly good deal not so cheap!) also, it is down the street from the metro, so we were able to go into central madrid for dinner easily and cheaply. the room was fine, clean and modern.
Perfect for quick stopover in Madrid or business”
I had a sudden flite change that obligated me to add an extra night near Baraja in Madrid to catch early continuing flite the next day. This hotel was chosen principly on the availability of the to and from airport transport which worked perfectly. Hotel rooms are small but very comfortable with all necessry amenities. Wireless internet free.
Good Stopover Hotel”
We had one night at the Best Western Barajas Hotel and found it comfortable. We had to call the hotel lobby to advise them we were at the airport but that was ok - they sent a shuttle straight away. Free internet in the lobby was a great bonus as we we there during the Volcanic Disruption. Breakfast was worth the extra payment, continental breakfast with lots of choices. They also have free tea/coffee in the lobby area as well. Staff were friendly and helpful.
