Manuel Morales at the reception is very efficient and friendly. He very happy to give you information about your stay and Flores. Breakfast is good . You just have to know that some bedrooms have a window facing the corridor. Good hotel and very well located.

Lovely stay at Villa del Lago”
Miguel and his staff were incredibly accommodating; even allowing us a late check out and to leave our bags behind for a trip to Tikal. Stayed in a room with balcony facing the lake. Great view; especially with the lunar eclipse. Bed was comfy. Water was hot. Service was excellent. Food recommendations did not disappoint; especially those given for our next stop in Antigua. Location excellent for the many walks around the island and close to good eats. Would happily stay again.

We liked it very much. Staff spoke fluent english and was very helpful. Location is great, just in center of Flores, but quiet. Good restaurant just accross the street.

Pretty nice hotel.”
Good location on the island. Beds were moderately comfortable, A/C was nice to have. Showers were hot. The room we had was very loud, right next to the restaurant. Our options for rooms were either no window (except to the hallway) or nestled in the restaurant to be woken up whenever the first guest came for breakfast. The rooms were also generally loud from other guests or parties happening nearby. All in all a good hotel though.

Nice location by the lake but very basic”
If you're after a basic accommodation, this hotel is ok, clean enough and nothing much more than a bed to sleep in. There is a courtyard area where you can chill and enjoy the lake views.

Great hotel in a fantastic location”
Flores is situated on a circular island on the lake. The town is very compact but has a great variety of bars, restaurants and streetfood. Walk up the steep cobbled street to the plaza at the church for beautiful sunsets over the lake. The Hotel Villa del Lago is a clean, comfortable hotel very close to the causeway access onto the island and an easy walk to the mainland shopping centre. Friendly and helpful staff. Hotel changed US dollars at a rate as good as the bank! PS We found a great fish restaurant tucked up a narrow lane, overlooking the lake: Look out for the Happy Fish: excellent food and service.

Lovely Hotel”
I can't recommend this hotel enough. It is perfectly located but in a quiet area. It has a view of the lake. The rooms are spotless, large and perfectly equipped. The staff are lovely and so helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The cleaner is so lovely and does a fabulous job. If you are staying in Flores, this is the place!

Great budget spot to soak up the charms of Flores”
Had a great stay at Hotel Villa Del Lago -- we even extended our stay by 1 night. We booked the deluxe room with a private balcony because it was the only room available, and are really glad we had to "treat" ourselves - it was really worth the extra $10 or so. The room was spotlessly clean and the staff were always cleaning the common areas. The communal balcony areas are lovely with plenty of seating and tables. Our favorite thing to go was have a drink, play cards, and enjoy the view. The staff also arranged onward transport for us (by bus) and it went smoothly. One thing to note -- there is an additional 5% fee to pay by credit card at this hotel. Perhaps Agoda should make a note of this on the booking page?

Cet hôtel est honnête pour son prix. Dommage notre chambre avait une fenêtre qui donnait sur le couloir donc pas possible d'ouvrir les gens passent devant. Le personnel est adorable. L'hôtel est bien placé.

非常に便利な場所にあり、そこそこ清潔な宿です。”
湖が一望できるベランダがあり、スーパーで買ってきたビールが美味しく飲めました！ スーパーのある島の対岸にも近く、非常に便利場所に立地しています。 但し、泊まった部屋は少し水回り（排水）に難がありました。（泊まった部屋だけかも。。。） それ以外は、総じてお奨めできる宿です。
