Decent Stay in The Beautiful Neighbourhood of Trastevere”
I specifically chose this hotel since it's located in the beautiful neighbourhood of Trastevere. The hotel is pretty close to the Roma Trastevere Station, so it was very convenient to hop on the train to get to the Fiumicino Airport. Bus stops were also within short walking distance. Staff was excellent and helpful. The room offered basic necessities but pretty clean and decent. The only downside was the walls that were quite thin, so I still could hear my neighbours talking even though they weren't yelling. But overall, I really enjoyed my stay here.

The location is good, very close to tram station, only few minutes to walk. The room was clean and comfortable. We had to check-in late and it wasn't a problem. Recommend!

It was amazing!”
It was so worth of money, because it is next to Trastevere train station (which is not the best place to hang out at night), it was clean, the staff was very kind, and the best of all is that they took our requirements into account (double bed, high floored room etc.). If I had to come back to Rome, I would choose it again.

Good hotel, excellent location”
My husband and I stayed at this hotel for two nights in April 2022. The hotel is clean and good value for money. The room we got wasn't huge, but it was good enough for a couple and had a good view of the main street and the cityscape and mountains in the distance. Both the bathroom and room were clean. The breakfast was average. The biggest plus is the location. The hotel is just a 5-10 minute walk from the bus stop, tram stop and the Trastavere train station. We could literally just hop into a bus/tram/train and reach the city centre of Rome in max 20-25 minutes. Would recommend it.

Spacious, clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff”
We had a great stay at Hotel Villa Rosa in April 2016. We were greeted warmly on arrival and the staff were generally very helpful, nothing was too much trouble, even when we asked to change rooms due to traffic noise. The hotel is on a busy road so with open windows there is considerable traffic noise, but not all rooms are as bad so its worth asking to change - our second night was much better. The only issue we had was the awful coffee machine at breakfast - there's also a jug of filtered coffee so I recommend that for any coffee lovers, its not fab but heaps better than the machine! We would definitely go back

Perfect place for a traveller ”
ideally located close to the Trastevere Railway station, this hotel is perfect also if you have an early departure from Rome; the railway station just 5 minutes walking, is perfect to catch both the trains for the main station of Rome ("termini") or to go to Fiumicino Airport. The only issue could be a stair from the main street to the hotel; but its is an easy step for a fit person.

Dirtiest carpet I've ever seen in a hotel room; hotel is not well located (Rome transportation system is very bad) and is hard to find; Staff was friendly and spoke English; breakfast basic but ok; restaurant was decent and well priced; you must pay for internet

long way out and in need of tlc”
The hotel was clean and comfortable but looked a little shabby and in need of refurbishment. IT was a long way out of the city but luckily the tram route was just 3 mins walk away and 1.5 euro was the cost of a six stop tram ride into the center of the city. If you have booked with Agoda check your receipt mine stated breakfast and all taxes were paid but om arrival I was hit with a 12 euro charge for government tax only after a dispute and two days did they agree to refund the money which they agreed was already paid, 12 euros per couple is a nice little earner

The rooms received were small. The hotel staff had a bit of attitude and that didn't please my family and me at all. My brother was asked to stay in my parents hotel room to watch over the cat (yes, we were traveling with a cat) and he got kicked out of the room, when a person of the staff discovered him there, because he wasn't registered there. The time period we were talking about was approximately one hour. All around the world people are aloud to have "guests"over from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m and the time at that moment was 2 p.m! And he was no stranger - the son of the family was kicked out of his parents room! I find that outrages! Other than that the beds weren't comfortable at all and the hotel is located in a really noisy part of the city, that's why sleeping was almost impossible!

Not what we expected, disappointed”
Air conditioning did not cool enough. We were very warm. The room was very outdated and bed uncomfortable. We were woken up at 8:30am by a repairman hammering in the next room. When I complained to the receptionist all she could say was "I'm sorry". They were advised it would be a part of my review, but they did not care. Also, the tv, which was the size of my computer screen, did not work. Wifi is available at 5 Euro for 1/2 hour. The city has plenty of free hotspots.

Decent city break”
A decent city break near enough to the city to enjoy the perks but also not be super expensive or busy. The free breakfast was also very good with lots of fresh bread and pastry. The free WiFi is always a bonus as well.

Disappointing.”
Access was difficult, either up 44 steps from main road or a lengthy walk around the block to approach at street level. While the foyer and dining room were excellent the accommodation was disappointing. No power points in room or bathroom, a power board was then supplied attached to the rear of the TV. Shower had access of only 23cm and without a soap holder. TV only available in Italian. As I said, disappointing.

A short walk from the station, but it's not right on the main road - you have to look for a stairway up. Take the train not the express as the express doesn't stop at this station.

Rude staff”
We had a staff member threaten to call the police as we were eating in the foyer. Seriously ridiculous. Air conditioning and tv not working in the room. Very dated. Would not recommend.
