Far away from tourists.”
Nice, small hotel. Ideal for families with kids. Located in a quiet residential area of Aventino. The rooms are specious and clean. Go for breakfast as it is fresh and tasty.

Classical Rome”
Excellent hotel on an excellent location. The only downside is that rooms vary a lot in the different buildings in the complex and some of them are dump - they should update all rooms equally. Some of the rooms are also quite smaller than others, although in the same price category.

Welcome to Rome !”
Overall I would say : 7/10 Best thing from hotel is the breakfast! You should add this to your booking. In term of room, it's kind a old hotel, so don't expect something new, somehow I can smell the ancient smell inside my room haha.. However if you are fans of antique / old style, you gonna their decoration. The staffs are very friendly and very helpful. One day we informed about catching early train to Florence (so if based on schedule we will missed the breakfast), but they informed us if the breakfast then will be opened 20 minutes earlier because of us ! Thank you very much. As I said in the beginning, don't missed the breakfast ! It's sooooo delicious. One thing should be considered is only about the 'location', unfortunately, there is no nearest bus/train station. Based on our experience, the nearest bus and tram station need 15 minutes walk, and for Train station need 30 minutes walk. Please also consider about the street ( you know how Italy's road).

Good hotel within walking distance to attractions”
The staff were exceptional. The room was clean and tidy. The gardens would be great in summer. The breakfast was decent. The colosseum is a mile away and the Key Hole is only a 5 minute walk away, well worth seeing. Also not far is the bus station which has busses that go into the historic centre or another that goes to San Pietro. Da Bucatino restaurant nearby was great. As was Alice pizza and Barberini pasticcheria. I'd happily stay there again if visiting Roma

quiet location not far from the colosseum and great F&B staff”
This was my second short stay at the hotel. The breakfast was very good - try the bacon and egg and so was the coffee. The location is about 15-20 min relaxing walk to the colosseum and the area is quiet in a good way. Prob 15-20 eur by taxi to most sightseeing locations. 20 eur to go to the Vatican for example which is up north in Rome versus the hotel which is in the Southern part. The food & beverages staff was very friendly and helpful. The front desk staff we encountered this time was helpful too. I would recommend this hotel for a nice stay in Rome.

quiet area 15-20 min walk to Colosseum, average service, great breakfast”
Quiet and relaxing area about a 15-20 min walk to the Colosseum. The rooms were ok. The front desk - both times - showed a lack of dedication and service level and sounded like a "voicemail" repeating the exact same welcome story without listening let alone responding to the customer. Breakfast and coffee was excellent though! Must try the eggs and bacon (made of wild oar I think). Good hotel but hope the service level increases.

Very good”
Very nice place. Did get the feeling it was trying to be a little grander than it really was though. Staff were friendly and there were plenty of them. It was reasonably well located (Very close to the colisseum and not too far from the metro (underground)) Hotel itself had some nice furniture and was covered in marble and frescos, the bedroom was a great size and again, decorated nicely. The bathroom, however, let it down. There was a Jacuzzi bath - that didn't work, plugs that didn't work (they were the type that you needed to use the lever to get the plug up and down), there was rust on some of the metal and scratches/marks on the inside of our bath. All in all a good stay in a nice hotel but the bathroom let it down. Would be 9/10 but have to grade it down because of the bathroom, so 7.5/10.
