Walking distance to the opera, roisseybus station and RER/metro station. The room is clean. Staff are friendly. The whole area is very quiet at night except a little bit underground sound when metro or train went through. Not a big deal for us. But might be a concern for light sleeper.

Great Location, Minimal Hotel”

Hotel Volney is located near luxury shopping area. Galeries Lafayette is just about 7 mins walk. Reaching Saint Honore luxury shops takes about 15 mins walk. Metro is not too far. Also, Roissy bus to CDG Airport is 5 mins away. The room itself was clean. Basic amenities were provided. In Paris, I found the Hotel has somewhat small elevator due to space limitation. Overall, our stay was memorable. We walked to several places and took metro/ Roissy bus so we can tell that Hotel Volney is a very convenient place to stay for a couple of day.

The hotel is located in good location, near Roissy bus stop. Very clean, big and comfy room. However, this hotel is very low technology, they ask for your booking confirmation in “PAPER FORM” despite we are in 2022.

A great place to stay”

This was my third time staying at Hotel Volney Opera. I love the location. Rooms tend to be on the small size, which is normal for the area. The staff have always been very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. During my most recent stay, even though we arrived well before check-in time, the receptionist coordinated with the housekeeper to minimize our wait time and allow us to get settled in earlier than we thought we would be able to. It was a nice and much appreciated gesture.

Value for money”

The Roissy bus from CDG airport takes you conveniently to Paris city with its stop at less than 5 mins walk to the hotel. It's also easy to travel from here to other places of interest through the metro (opera station) which again is just barely 5 mins walk from the hotel.

Small old hotel that is good value if you need to be in this area of Paris”

Helpful staff....tiny old rooms with refurbished bathrooms......well placed in Opera but useless if you wish to be elsewhere....good value.

the battery to the safe was lo. after informing the reception, almost immediately they came to replace the old ones with new batteries. you can store luggage after the check out time and go back collect later. the air conditioning in the room was not good, air flow was small even at biggest setting. They do have a heater. it can be quite stuffy at night if you do not open the window to regulate the airflow.

Hotel with good location but expensive and quite small bedroom”

Suitable for those who are traveling to Paris, especially in the city center, near the Opera, hotels near various places, easy to walk, but the price is quite high and the bedroom is quite small.

Rude staff”

I met all three staffs, two of them were rude, especially the chubby woman in the afternoon shift. The room is big and cozy. The location is good, close to Rosy bus stop.
