Very close to bus stop (Haruyoshi), and convenience stores (Lawson and 7eleven). Close to a supermarket as well! Rooms are clean and isn't smelly. Walking distance to Hakata station, Canal City and Tenjin station. So many restaurants within the vicinity. Staff are very helpful and kind. Will defintely book here again.

While the room we had (two semi-double beds, room 1010) was quite plain we appreciated the closet rather than a rack on the wall with hangers and the relative spaciousness of the room. The relatively spacious bathroom, with independent plumbing for bath/shower and sinks was also a plus. As suggested by the name of this hotel the focus is on breakfast and they certainly deliver! Smoked duck, made to order pizza, terrific green curry with chicken comprise some of the standard main items, complimented by a number of excellent side salads and side dishes. Smoothies made to order, and three choices of wine to go with breakfast top off the offerings to make this place An absolute “go to” if you have a hankering for an extensive breakfast menu at a reasonable price. Located dead in the heart of the Tenjin nightlife area, and ten minutes from the heart of the shopping district, with easy access to the subway lines, this is an excellent hotel for the price. Special credit is given to the young lady managing the breakfast area who listened to my request to change the music from the insipid, sad choice of Christmas music to something more appropriate to the days following Halloween.

The Location is great - Near Nakasu River and Main Train Stations as well as bus location. There are a convenient stores in the area as well as restaurants within the vicinity of the Hotel. Lively at night and safe. The Hotel staffs are accommodating, good English communication as well as accommodating. The room is small, however for the price its good catch, complete necessity and the needs as provided, clean and neat hotel rooms and toilet. Hotel with free flow Japanese comic books ”
I was impressed by a bunch of Japanese comic books provided at the hotel lobby. For a manga lover, You will love it to stay here. The hotel also provides a unique welcome drink: infused water. You can have it as much as you can. This is a simple modern look hotel. They have a limited number of parking spaces. I could not get a parking space, but there was a lot of coin parking lot nearby, so no worry.

Convenient location”
The staff were kind and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable for a single traveler. However, I could hear the next door guest slamming the wall from time to time(Idk why). I stayed two nights but didn't get to try the famous breakfast buffet. Hope to try it next time I visit but I wish it would be cheaper for guests who pay in advance. The hotel is about 10 min walking distance from both Tenjin and Nakasukawabata Station (about 20 mins from the Fukuoka Airport station, 260 yen). I walked to the Christmas market by Tenjin station, Canal City Mall and Nakasu region. Don Quijote Tenjin Honten is also walking distance but rather small. Overall, I'd stay here again if I want to enjoy the city.

Good Location”
Very well managed hotel close to Tenjin area. Subway, shopping & dining all close by. Rooms are provided with everything, coffee & tea maker included. Breakfast very healthy. The only downside: Walls appear to be a bit thin, I was woken up by noisy neighbors returning late at night (which is not really the hotel's responsibility, though). Would definitely stay again!

Repeat Visitor, Music and Breakfast seating downgrade ”
Returning to Breakfast (the hotel) for the second go-round, I can still recommend this hotel but not without reservation. While the staff are certainly pleasant someone needs to take responsibility for an arrangement that constantly has the huge double doors open between indoor and outdoor dining. Even in the beautiful mild autumn weather we experienced this meant that it was cold enough INSIDE that staff were reduced to handing out lap blankets to keep people warm indoors. I hate to think of what this would be like in December, let alone January or February. And no, they don’t have close to enough seating indoors to accommodate those who wish to dine indoors. Yesterday morning all indoor seating and almost every outdoor seat was full at the 7:00 AM breakfast round. (If you haven’t discovered this yet, the breakfast buffet is restricted to three strict time frames, one hour each.) Also, while many of the elements of breakfast are quite tasty almost everything is served cold. There are only three hot dishes, two of which are kept in hotpots that either over-boil their contents or leave them almost at room temperature, quite a disappointment. Even so, breakfast is quite elaborate, but don’t come expecting a hot meal, nor expecting the most delicious elements of a good Japanese breakfast. Thanks again to the kind staff member who changed the insipid, tasteless Christmas music (the day after Halloween) to more generic pop music. However, someone at this hotel needs training in what kind of music, at what volume, is appropriate for background music while dining.

For indoor seats the blankets are provided only when you request to the staff. In winter we will divide the time in four different time frames to avoide the outdoor seats for cold. As you have mentioned in the comment much of the dishes in our hotel are cold, we will try to increase the hot meals in the future. For hot dishes most of our customer had requested for not very hot enough dishes. Therefore we serve the mild hot dishes. We are glad to hear that you are satisfy with the interaction of our staffs. Will definitely stay here again if I do go back to Fukuoka. Location is very central can walk to the places in hakata old town and canal city and every interesting places. Only place you have to take a train is to Fukuoka Tower. Very good location.

Rooms are clean and well equipped. My mattress was a bit worn, but I slept well. One thing I didn't like was a rather bright nightlight that I somehow didn't manage to turn off. Otherwise my stay was fine.

a nice hotel in Tenjin with kindly staff”
The hotel in not far away to Tenjin Bus station, and you can find the 100Yen bus conveniently in the crossroad. You can walk to Tenjin or Nakasu in 15 minutes, or take a but to Hakata. The room and the washroom is the smallest among the hotels I've been in. The washroom is really a challenge to a fat man. The staff is friendly and willing to help. You can also enjoy the tasty fruit juice and capsule coffee in the hotel.

Generally okay but perhaps not the best value for $”
Location good, close to Tenjin, quite a lot of food choices nearby, incl. Yatai. Room is small. Window doesn't seal off completely when shut so better not stay on low floors to avoid street noise. No room service except you request for it when check-in, which is odd by int'l standard. Breakfast is a plus, you can make your own mini-pizza. I stayed during late Nov, prior to peak season, yet I felt I had overpaid slightly.

We stayed 5 nights at WBF Tenjin Minami. Good location with 10 mins walk to Tenjin (Subway) and Shopping Malls. Small bathroom but fully equipped with all necessary items. Friendly staffs, Housekeeping staff tidy up my room everyday. Value for money!

A big shoutout to all the staff interns who were the most helpful people and in particular Mr. Saroz ! My first interaction with the hotel left me slightly disappointed as they rejected my request to leave my luggage prior to my stay, but later could understand why as the reception area was not large to start with. Our check in was smooth and there was an assortment of shampoo and conditioners for you to choose during your stay. The free drinks and chicken soup was a good touch considering the erratic weather outside switching between hot and cold. Rooms were small as per all rooms in japan but sufficient for us to put one small and one medium luggage fully open with some creativity and minimal walkway but we could live with that. The staff members were from different countries and thus communication was not of major problems. Location was 10 mins walk to the Tenjin underground mall and within close proximity of the nakasu are. Cab to the Airport was about 1600Yen.
