“There are many restaurants around Narita Station.”

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights to travel back to Narita Airport. The hotel was newly renovated but looked good for the price I booked; it was not expensive at all. The room was big, with a comfortable double bed and spacious enough to fit 2 large suitcases. The bathroom in the annex building did not have an automatic payment system, but the hot water was good. Overall, it was okay. I was satisfied because it was convenient for traveling, close to the bus for the KEISEI train station to the airport which was just a short trip. It was also close to Narita Temple and had a bus nearby to AEON Mall. There were plenty of restaurants and convenience stores. I liked it, and I was happy.

“From the Showa era to the end of the century is Let's, in the new century it's Mercure, and in the Reiwa era it's Welco.”

This is a city hotel with a distinguished atmosphere, built in an excellent location. The current setup seems to have undergone significant renovations during the opening of Mercure, and the letter "M" from Mercure is visible in the carpets surrounding the restaurant and banquet halls. Perhaps due to the brand power cultivated during the Mercure era, the banquet hall was decently occupied, and the restaurant's quality is impressive, with signs indicating that it serves the crew of Qantas Airlines. Rooms are generally about 1.5 times larger compared to Japanese business hotels, and in addition to the bed and desk, there is a table and a single sofa set. There is also a suitcase rack! The air conditioning only has airflow adjustment, but the difference between strong and weak airflow is quite clear. The bathroom is larger compared to that of Japanese business hotels. The mattress on the bed is on the firmer side, catering to foreign preferences, so it suits those who are used to sleeping on futons in Japanese-style rooms. If I could wish for something, I would have liked to have a 100V power source by the bedside. If you bring your own extension cord, you will need about 5 meters. Chinese restaurant Manten has closed down, losing out to Gyoza no Ohsho and Hidakaya. The izakaya Shitamise Hanzen Gongo has become Kawanooto, and the chicken pilaf rice is exquisite, but the portion is quite large, so sharing between two people is recommended. Seychelles and the sushi restaurant Kuroko continue to operate as usual. The morning takeout from Seychelles is also excellent. One point to note is access by car. The parking lot, which is plentiful, requires you to take a lift to the fourth floor before parking it yourself, but it has a height restriction of 1.8 meters. If your vehicle exceeds that height, you'll have to park in a lot beside the delivery bay, which can accommodate only four vehicles: three in regular spots and one for helicopters. Access by train is excellent. It is located between JR Narita Station and Keisei Narita Station, and since you do not have to cross the road from the Keisei Station, you can arrive in less than a minute. While there are some quirks in access and facilities, it is recommended for those who are visiting Shinsho-ji Temple or for those who were disappointed by the cigarette smell in nearby business hotels.

“A hotel where you can relax and spend time comfortably!”

Although we arrived quite late, the staff at the front desk were very warm and welcoming. The room was clean and beautiful, making it a very comfortable place to relax and spend time. Although our flight was very early in the morning, the location was extremely close to the station, allowing us to arrive at Narita Airport with plenty of time to spare. I would like to use this facility again next time.

    “Returning customer”

This is a great hotel. Happy to provide a summary in bullet points why I say so. 1. Narita Town is a compact little town packed with history, nice traditional buildings, lots of good food, not too crowded and easy to get around on foot. 2. It is only 15 mins away by train to Narita airport, therefore excellent for a stopover too if you have an early flight to catch, or decides to have a stopover on arrival before heading into the wider area of Tokyo, Yokohama or further. 3. Hotel is great, room is modestly sized and is manned by very friendly staffs. I would strongly recommend this hotel and town.

“Welcome respite from a horrible flight”

I've stayed here when it was the Mercure, so I knew where it was. What I didn't count on was a flight from the US delayed by 7 hours, such that I got to Narita well after my planned check-in. The staff checked me in when I got there, and the next morning they assisted in getting my suitcase forwarded to my temporary apartment in Tokyo. The night staff was courteous, and the morning staff cheerful and very helpful. I wish I had had the time to get the breakfast buffet, it looked awesome, both the Japaese and Western styles. Highly recommend this for convenience to Narita Airport (one train stop away on either Keisei or JR), and a great way to ease yourself into Japan.
