The location was great - the problem was that on the first night of my booking although they sent a taxi to collect me from the station as arranged, the driver then took me to the wrong hotel with no explanation at all (and no email from Zam-Zam to warn me). The family at the Guest House I was taken too could not speak any English and seemed quite angry that I was upset to be there. It was a very frightening experience and in the morning I only managed to move to Zam-Zam when I called an Uzbek friend to speak to the man and make him let me go.
