Even though I spend a lot of my time traveling, I never really felt the need to leave a review till I stayed in Hotel Armada. Located in the heart of PJ, I truly enjoyed my stay at Armada. The staff were courteous and welcoming. Even though there was a bus full of tourists who arrived approximately the same time as me, the check in process was handled quickly and efficiently. There was also a choice of cocktail or soft drink as the complimentary drink, which was nice. Absolutely loved the color scheme and choice of furniture, which gave the room a comfortable and classy feel. There was also a lot of thought put into the arrangement of everything in the room, which I really appreciated, whether it was the magazines by the bedside or the couch in the corner. Spacious and comfortable, Armada would easily fit everyone's need whether its for business, family or solo traveler. Will definitely be returning and highly recommended!

Was a last minute booking. Booked a king executive with breakfast for 4 adults.At check-in, was told by staff that I had to pay for 2 additional beds but breakfast for 4 is inculded for our 3-night stay. It was a little strange I thought. Staff allowed me to go up to my room to decide whether I still wanted the extra beds.The room was very large; 66sq. metres. A phone call from reception came through. The counter staff said that if I would still like to have the 2 extra beds, it would be complimentary. Of course, I opted to have the beds. The room is very clean and spacious. As we were booked into an executive room, we had access to the executive lounge; full American breakfst, high tea and evening cocktails are provided. On one of the mornings, my son needed 2AA batteries for his weighing scale. Approached concierge for it. Although the staff took quite a while to get back to us, they were very accommodating. In the end, they gave us a pack of 4 batteries. Parking at the car park is complimentary for hotel guests. The gym was definitely welcomed by my son who rated it the best for a hotel gym. AS we had a high floor room, we could see the fireworks let off on New Year's Eve. The hotel also let off a fantastic fireworks display to usher in the New Year. The staff at Hilton, from wait staff in the dining areas to housekeeping to concierge to reception, everybody was extremely polite and courteous. Service is a 5* at Hilton PJ. The only qualm we have is having to pay for bottled water at a dinner buffet we had in the hotel. The bottled water is provided free in our own rooms/executive lounge, yet we had to pay for it at dining?!

this is a business class hotel but many guests coming to bukit damansara, bangsar and pj should find this a good stay. check-in was a breeze and staff are generally good. if you drive along the sprint highway, make sure you take the exit at jalan dato abu bakar and follow the road towards phileo damansara, which at that point the hotel is more than visible already. our deluxe room was big and comfortable. in the floor to ceiling wardrobe there is an iron and ironing board which is very handy. bathtub was clean enough but the tub shower head didn't work that well, rather it leaked. the standing shower is spacious. only strange thing was since i did not choose to make a preliminary deposit for additional amenities (which at that time i didn't think i needed them yet) when checking-in, they sent someone to my room 10 seconds after we entered it to clear the minibar. i mean, i've stayed in many hotels, even lower standard ones, but this policy was really strange and took us aback. i sometimes don't even take anything from the minibar (because they are usually overpriced anyway), but certainly some kind of leeway could help. overall however, our 1 night stay was good, buffet breakfast has a good spread too. room service was good and food delicious. would give 5 stars if not for the minibar issue.

My wife and I both enjoyed our recent stay in Best Western PJ. We booked via AGODA only 1 day prior to our stay. The hotel is situated nicely inside CentreStage PJ. The price is definitely one of the cheapest comparable to other hotels in the vicinity. We stayed in the Hollywood Twin Bed. Eventhough the room was slightly small but it definitely made up for with its design, tidiness and overall cleanliness. The hotel staff right from our check-in till check-out were extremely polite and nice. Service was fast and they were ever willing to help with any queries. However, one downside is that the elevators from the basement parking to the hotel rooms and even the rooftop swimming pool and gymnasium has no security via access cards like many other major hotels. Thus, outsiders can directly access hotel rooms and facilities (eg swimming pool) and this posses a definite security threat to the hotel occupants. Overall, if you are planning a cosy comfortable stay in PJ with a budget, Best Western PJ is the place to be.

Sheraton PJ is by far the best hotel I’ve been to in KL - high end with affordable rate. Deluxe rm 12th floor - queen bed is so comfy, the pillows are heaven I feel like I wanted to buy one from them! The sheets and covers are clean and smell freshly laundered. The view is amazing, but Armada Hotel obstructs the view a bit. if you’re on a higher floor, shouldn’t be a problem. Sunrise view was beautiful! The tub was a bit small, but clean and has a glass wall facing the bedroom. You can watch the TV while having a bubble bath. Bathroom provides toothbrushes, comb, good smelling shampoo, conditioner (separate! Thank god!), and shower gel, hair dryer, cotton bud, vanity mirror with light all around and cosmetic mirror! Separate rain shower area. Hot water takes a while to warm up. Only one robe though, for two ppl booking. It’s ok. Slippers. I didnt get a chance to leave a thank u note for arranging a special birthday decor! Very nice touch! Nice view at the infinipool area!

It was a very satisfying & great staycation in PJ. The Superior room that we booked is very spacious, large and clean. decorated simple but with cosy ambience. Facilities were good, they had restaurants, cafe, gym, pool etc. The Hotel also gave us 2 complimentary breakfast passes, which provides great breakfast spread of menus. The only thing lacking during my stay , was the pillow covers were not really clean and had stained marks on it, other than that overall everything in the room was greatly fine & comfortable, Would like to comment the Front Desk receptions were very very slow and lack efficient service. Had to wait about more than 30 minutes to check in, was kind of agitated as many clients were waiting & also cutting queues to get to their turn. Crystal Crown Pj definitely need to buck up on your Front Desk assistance to be much more efficient. Overall , my one day staycation was very good, will definitely come back again for a longer stay in future vacations to come.

hotel is just right beside the mall and a 24 hours favorite mart are just right beside the hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. Bath tub in premier room which can oversee the sky of PJ area is just breath-taking. Infinity swimming pool are at the roof top are excellent and crystal clear. But the closing time are till 9pm for the time being due to the bar upstairs are not open yet during my stay. I suggested the time could be longer because it's really nice for us to relax up there after whole day traveling or working the city. Breakfast at Pasar Baru restaurant are delicious and have lots of variety from chinese to malay and Indian style of breakfast choices. Staff are helpful and friendly. They have taken extra miles to contact and follow up on what you have requested from housekeeping and guided you around the hotel facilities etc. Well done!! The lamp in the premier room table has to be re-adjust because it's too low and easily hit by people. strongly recommended!

a great location to house a visiting guest overnight. Near to my workplace, convenient access to food and amenities with the Atria Galleria mall behind. The deluxe room is clean and comfortable for short stay. Receptionist is polite and accommodating. As this hotel is located in an end lot, all rooms have windows. There is a lift although it is just a 4 story hotel. A bottle of drinking water is provided. Great value for money booking through Agoda. I have no complaints. There is no food served. However there is no option for a Not Applicable Button in the compulsory field above. Kindly ignore the rating for item 1 which is Food/Beverage

Got this at Promo price (RM$159/night for family room for 3 pax). Right in SS2, directly opp MacDonald's. Hawker Centre is right across the street with many shops, cafes, bakeries, restaurants (even Japanese & Korean), KFC, Guardian Pharmacy, Watson's, Caring, Bee Cheng Hiang, Salvation Bookstore, Public Bank, MayBank, etc all around the square layout of this place. Nearest mall is One Utama, a 5-min drive.

Its a building that easy to recognised. We can find it easily. This hotel is very near to many restaurants. But most importantly, its near to 7Eleven. we can get snack in the middle of the night. and within bring walking distance. The room is spacious and clean. we got the room with window. Even the toilet is big which is good as i am quite heavy and big. There are toiletries and clean towels for us. There are also free beverage. High Recommended.

I booked two-bedroom apartment. Ok first things first, shout out to Mr. Kaldip and Mr. Shukor, you guys are soooo courteous, always polite and tremendously helpful. I was very tired when i had arrived (it was the time of the month for women), so when I asked the direction to Mr. Kaldip, i sounded like a rude bitch. But he gently told me the way. I felt so guilty and apologised to him the next day. He was like nonono, it's okayy, dont worry about it, nonono. 😭😭😭Thank youuuu~ To Mr. Shukor, you are so attentive and kind and softspoken and so thoughtful! You helped with our bags when we checked in. Then after checked out, i left my bag near the reception because i was rushing. So 3-5mins later, as i was driving someone called me to tell me that i left my bag. I didnt know who called but i'm going to assume it was you, so thank you for recognizing that it's my bag. (There were other ppl checking out at the same time). Again, thank you very much to the both of you! 😁😁😁😁 Okay. Somerset. I chose this hotel not because it is beside a mall, or that there are tons of shops all around it. Those are plus points anyway. I had to stay here mainly because my brother was admitted into KPJ damansara. So i booked this hotel since it's nearby and my family needed a good rest too. And somerset delivers! If u need a good rest, this is the place. It was worth the price. Everything is amazing! The space, kitchenette, washing machine, fridge, shoe rack, the rooms, toilets, pool, children playground, gym. So anyway, all i can say is somerset's amazing becauuuseee they have the best staff, plus the bed is so damn comfortable! 😆😆 👍👍👍

Overall is a nice budget hotel. The hotel have a nice decoration inside and the receptionist are friendly too. Room : We have a room that having 2 single beds combine into 1 to make a large bed and total having 4 pillows inside the room. Some pack of instance coffee powder & 2 free bottled water provided. You can found the shower gel, shampoo & soap in the toilet. The hotel is around in the housing area. This hotel may difficult to find the entrance as this hotel is inside a low density condo (Casa Utama condo) and it are in the basement area. So just turn into the Casa Utama condo you are in the right place. This hotel is more convenience for those have own transport as it was in the housing area. You need to drive out a short driving distance to get foods although inside hotel there have a cafe/restaurant too. But it is good as there have a free security Private indoor parking provided for hotel guests and there have plenty of space too. So it more benefit to for those driving and looking for the budget hotel. Short driving distance required to go IKEA & One Utama. (If you have own transport then it is not a big issue, else you may get the taxi or uber to reach your destination too) Wifi speed is fast too, just the tv channel is not much movies. Room lights consider darker(I'm think it want to make some kind of romantic feeling so have 2 yellow romantic bulb only, some may feel the room little darkness)

the main reason i chose this hotel is due to the budget as i was waiting to meet up with friends in the following days after i finished running my errand in PJ. The location is at the PJ selatan, a bit far away from the PJ town area. Fortunately there was bus service available and in fact it is rather convenient for me to take a direct bus from Universiti LRT station. there is railway station nearby but you have to walk some distance before reaching the station. there is not much thing to do around the hotel. there are restaurant nearby but they only serves indian and malay food. basically the people stay nearby the area is of malay and indian ethics. there is also self service laundry shop and minimart nearby. So basically this hotel is good for a stopover if you need to stay in KL or PJ for one day or more.

(Note: Nostalgic rambling in the first paragraph) Growing up in Petaling Jaya, Shah Village Hotel formed part of what we call the "A&W" walk. That's the street you turn into to get to the hotel, or as I prefer to address it, a motel. Yes, the one direction street consists of A&W, 2 privates clubs, a multi storey parking lot cum food court and this motel. Sadly, all of them seemed to have seen better days. Well, if first impression says it all the word to best describe this motel is "tired". But let it not put you off. Parking's free and check in was also hassle free. The reception area is nice although the bar doesn't look like it's been utilized much. I booked a "standard room" which consists of a twin bed arrangements. Again, "tired" is how I would describe the room but at this price point, I'm not too fussy about it and after all, I really planned to show my foreign friend around town most of time anyway. The room was adequate. The aircond worked, the toilet was big enough. The room also comes with a TV (some satellite channels), a fridge, hot water flask, hair dryer and most importantly, an in room safe. If you can get past the "tired" way everything looks, the room is actually quite nice. The best thing about this hotel is that it's closely situated to the LRT train station, a short 5 minute walk away. A ticket to town, say, Pasar Seni (the older side of KL), is RM2 one way. Twin towers would probably be an addition ringgit, not more I think... If venturing into town is not your thing, the nearby Amcorp Mall or PJ New Town host enough shops, restaurants, banks, etc to get you going. Like spicy, authentic Malay food? The nearby food court is great but watch the chillies! Chinese, Thai, Indian? Not too far away either. Got a friend who's a local? Meet, greet and park up at the motel. The Agoda deal came with buffet breakfast, a good spread of Western and Eastern fare. Overall, a good motel at a good location.

We had originally booked the hotel it was close to a place we wanted to visit one early morning, but what was meant to be a one night stay turned into a 3 night stay because we had to rush our son to the emergency room the first night. So here is one extra point: the hotel is 3 min away from a 24 hours emergency room that has great staff and facilities. So most of the time was spent at the hospital, but coming back to the room was always a pleasant experience where we knew we'd fine comfortable beds, a hot shower and ample windows to make us feel good. The hotel staff was helpful throughout our time there.

What else do you need after a long day of workshop and training? A comfortable room to rest and the room that i stayed did exceed my expectation. The room was quiet, clean and cozy despite small size. It was equipped with comfortable bed, great showering system, TV, table and chair. There are plenty of restaurants and a convenient store at the vicinity of hotel. Also, no worries for those who drives, there are plenty parking spaces just next to the hotel. Will definitely opt for this hotel in the future.

Location is quite good near the malls with 'coupon parking'..hard to find one actually (goodluck! and can purchase parking coupon at nearby store).pls ask staff for hotel parking if available..very helpfull staff whenever needed. Very basic deluxe room. Do not expect the electric kettle, iron, 3in1 coffees or mineral bottles inside. Every these are provided for each level near entrance or nearby your room. Noisy if only you booked with the window room.. we stayed without it and ya, no noise at all. Worth and It value for money..

We are a couple & biz traveller.As far as we are concern,its not so easy to find this type of new & nice featured Hotel especially at PJ/Subang Jaya area.The "Makan" place also nearby.Its about 4-5 mins drive to Sunway Lagoon & Sunway Pyramid.Firstly it its quite dificult to find this hotel although I am using GPS,but once u found it,it is easy to remember the route.Actually this hotel is just beside the famous Malaysian Malay Movie Producer,ie David Teoh's new Metrowealth Offce. The hotel's staff are also very helpful.

2nd time staying. Unfortunately, there's water rationing, 2 days w/ water, 2 days w/o. Staff tries to ensure we have water. Walk-ins do not have though. Area is shaped like a rectangle, all in the vicinity: MacD, KFC, Subway, Starbucks, Chinese, Jap, Korean restaurants, local coffee shops & cafe, big hawker centre, 3x bakery shops, 2x 7-Elevens, morning market, Monday night pasir malam, laundry service (no laundromat), supermarket, 2x selling BBQ meat (Bee Cheng Hiang & 1 more), 2x video shops.

Keep in mind that this is a 1-star hotel so lower all expectations n the stay will be fine. Staff is helpful & friendly. The triple room w window is perfect for our family of 3. Room is quite spacious, clean & very well-maintained for a budget hotel. Beds are comfortable, clean sheets, no smelly pillow, no itch or rashes after 2 nights. Bathroom is clean & water pressure is good. For muslim, wudhuk pipe is not available, just shower head. Aircon is strong, room has ceiling fan as well. Room Wifi is weak but you can use lobby wifi which is stronger. TV channels are really lousy unless you are in the room for long. Generally, the overall hotel security is safe, only 1 main door is open at night which requires the recep staff to monitor n open door for entry. However, room security only has a latch to it, no double lock. Location is safe, although quiet at night but they are several security staff along the pavements who guards the nearby offices. Walking distance to hypermarket. Near to Paradigm Mall (can walk but quite dangerous due to heavy traffic, suggest get hotel call a cab or drive). Parking lots are limited. Park at the backlane of the hotel and ask for a room where you can see your car from it. Driving to other malls (eg curve, one utama, sunway) is convenient as the hotel leads to nearby highway. Overall, will recommend for fellow travelers. Btw, there are 2 sister hotels of the same name, dont get mixed up.

Pros: close to a variety of food outlets. Theres even durian place here where you can eat there. Overall room experience is fine. TV is not working great but I dont really watch tv. Cons: not really a con but they only give a bag of toiletries for me so if you here with a rather large family, it might not be enough for everyone. No lifts so you gotta climb up if your room in 3rd floor.

I've booked for someone else for this hotel. But a day before that I actually walk into the hotel to inquire the price. They charge around RM128 per day for walk ins and is non negotiable. But in Agoda they only charge at RM90 all inclusive of tax. Thought that it would be cheaper for walk ins but I was wrong. Overall it should be a good stay as there is a bank just below the building and easy access to many famous eateries around. Security wise is not a concern at all.
