My stay in Apo View Hotel located at the city center of Davao was a great pleasure for me. I have made the right decision to chosed this hotel inspite the room rate but it's worth it. Safety measures has been practiced from the time i arrived in the hotel till i left. Hotel staff were all smiling, accomodating, never you gonna feel that you are stranger on that place. Hospitality is the best selling point of the hotel coming from the natives of Davao's. All parts of the hotel were cleaned and properly arranged especially the room itself. And given a chance that i'll be back in Davao, i don't have the second thought of cosing Apo View Hotel again.....Thank you much guyz...job well done....

I was booking at green windows dormitel a few months before staying there, the hotel is an FTC tower building and the green windows is located at the fifth floor. One block of the ground floor building is the entrance to the hotel, and it has an elevator and a stairway spiral with green glass walls to walk through in case you need some variation in mode of transport to the hotel floors. On arrival we were told that the room is a no smoking room and the cafeteria is at at the fifth floor where we can have our free breakfast. The staff is friendly and courteous enough to receive us, and lead us to our room at the 6th floor. The hallway is large enough and is carpeted. The room is just enough, the noise outside can not be heard inside the room, it has a cable tv a very cold aircon which we have to adjust the temperature from time to time. The hotel is a new hotel just a year old since operation. The walls of the hotel is made of green out p but without windows. The tree and the grasses that surrounds the hotel as seen online is non existing as it is surrounded by residences with old buildings. Overall, the hotel is a good place to stay as it is within the city center and close to other establishments, the people's park is just a walking distance where we roamed on Christmas night. Security is very important as well as there is a guard in every hotel floor, we have not lost any belonging.

Stayed for 2 nights with a friend. It was close to People's park and gaisano mall, and just a few block's away from Aldevinco Shopping Center. I love the fact that we can walk to these places even at night. Breakfast was okay. Friendly staff and guard and there's a multicab route that passes close to the hotel (panacan-ilustre). You can also walk a few blocks to get access to the other public transpo routes. All in all, good value for money.

We booked the Superior Room Twin bed. Although the room needs updating, it is really clean and complete with amenities. Staff are really nice and accomodating, Breakfast food was also good. The main seller for this hotel is the location. The hotel is found in the city center and at the end of the street from the hotel is a 711 and on the other end the Pasalubong center. On the hotel itself, you can find the Apo ni Lola with the same price as the one in San Miguel Village. Roxas Night Market is within walking distance and the Cathedral plus City hall one jeepney ride.

it's in the center of old part of city. walking distance to marco polo, roxas night market, gaisano south, aldevinco mall. jeepney all around the hotel. was able to commute mostly by jeepneys to far tourist sites as crocodile park, eden nature park, phil. eagle center, samal island paradise resort.and to the top new malls in davao. and also commute to the airport. saved a lot of money bec. taxi can be expensive bec. of traffic. staff can answer your questions about this city. buffet breakfast in excellent. peaceful strolling around the city can be done. cheap eateries surround this hotel. clean rooms with good shower and cool aircons.

I highly recommend North Zen Hotel for those people who are in a budget but yet would want a suitable place to stay. Room is small yet has all the things you need - cold aircon, flatscreen tv with cable, comfortable bed, hot and cold shower,wifi access and even a cabinet with hangers. Also, the hotel itself is new with a modern touch to it. Frontdesk personnel are very pleasing and accommodating. Even the bellboy and security guard were very helpful. What's more is that its near to a shopping center called Gaisano Mall. Only 5 minutes away. I will definitely go back to North Zen hotel if I get the chance.

I and my partner stayed for a night only. We got the matrimonial bed since there was a good offer for the room. Matrimonial rooms are regularly priced at around Php 1500+ but we got to book it for only Php 1100. A very good deal. The staff were friendly during our stay. The bathroom was clean and hot and cold shower was available. The location is very strategic since it is located near shopping malls and city centers. We haven't experienced ordering their food since we ate at a local resto outside the hotel. If you are in the city for business purposes, you may need to bring your own wifi device since the wifi is only available at the lobby. Also, phone signals are somewhat low on our room. Having said that, I still recommend the place if you are on a budget and want a clean and peaceful place to stay.

This is a clean, well-maintained hotel with a convenient location in downtown Davao. My room was the standard, but it was large. With 2 twin beds, there was plenty of room for my girlfriend's family to stay overnight a couple of times. The breakfast buffet had different food each day, so I never got tired of the same old thing. The restaurant by the pool was very convenient. We could swim, go order our dinner, swim some more, eat dinner when it was ready, then swim again after eating. I was satisfied with the quality of food in both hotel restaurants. Wi-fi was not available after the power outages, but the business center has a Linux computer for guests to use. The center also has an ethernet cable if you prefer to use your own laptop. The staff was helpful and friendly. On my second morning, I went downstairs and asked for my breakfast buffet ticket so I could go eat. The lady at the desk handed it to me and my name was already hand-written on it. So I guess she knew my name. I was impressed. I plan to visit Davao again and I plan to stay at Grand Men Seng again. And I would recommend this hotel to a friend.

The hotel has a great location because it is near Ateneo de Davao and Aldevinco shopping center. It is new and the rooms were clean. Do not expect amenities. For the double deluxe, you have a TV, WiFi (though slow in the room), two small bars of soap, a small roll of toilet paper, two towels, lukewarm water in the shower, and a pair of rubber slippers (for room use only). There was no place to put the toilet paper in the bathroom. The walls of the room are thin so you can hear the noise in the corridor and in the street below. We were unable to sleep well. Staff is inadequate (although polite and accommodating) and the hotel depends on students who are doing their on the job training. The restaurant is very inadequate. The cook is not dressed appropriately. Meals are limited so we ended up eating in a fastfood place.

Alu hotel is very conveniently located at the Davao city center. Just beside the hotel is a coffee shop and several restaurants you can choose from. A few blcoks away is the aldevinco shopping center where you can buy sarongs, malongs, and a lot more locally made products. A few more blocks away are fruit stands where you can buy all the different fruits locally grown in davao. So even if i was just there for a day, i was still able to buy some stuff for my family and friends back home. The hotel also has easy access to public jeepneys and cabs so going aRound davao wont be a problem. I would definitely come back there again. I just wasnt able to eat the breakfast provided with my booking coz my flight left at 6am. I asked the receptionist if they would be Able to provide my breakfast at an earlier time but they wouldnt allow it. But the price i paid for my stay was definitely worth it.

It was a last minute plan to stay in the city and decided to look for a decent place to stay at an affordable price, and daw this hotel online. It was great choice to stay here. Very accessible to different restaurants for a short walk. A convenience store and a coffee shop/ resto is right at the ground floor for your additional convenience as well. The room was good, together with the sheets. A little improvement is needed for the towels though because it seemed old. The staff were great and friendly so it made my stay good overall.

The location is👍. Walking distance to people's park. You can do jogging at the park early morning, many people do it and it feels like home. Bank's are nearby, so if easy to withdraw if you become broke 😁😂. The city hall, cathedral, parks, museo dabawenyo are within reach by foot. Enjoy walking because it's good as exercise. Not far from the museo dabawenyo is the D Bone musuem, make sure not to miss this. Museo dabawenyo and D bone musuem has tour guide, they give very informative details. It's 👍👍. Few blocks away from the hotel is the Penong's and Saging Repablik which happen to be in my itinerary, which makes the it great place to stay. Roxas night market, pasalubong center, bankerohan market, aldhevinco shopping center and Gmall are all within reach by foot. So enjoy walking.😊👣 711 is the nearest convenient store which is 3-5 minutes walk (depend how you walk 🚶) For the price, book day before or within the day, it is much cheaper. 😊👍 Before leaving the hotel, you triple check your belongings. Because during check out they will not inspect your room. After you hand over the keys, they will just say that you're good to go. The cleans are room, during check in they have this form, you have options if you like them to clean the room or not. This makes you feel more secure that once you leave the room on day time, they will not enter without your permission. So it's 👍👍👍

The staff is friendly and helpful. Our initial room has dimmed lights so we asked to be transferred. They were booked solid due to kadayawan event but were able to transfer the following day to a much better one. Love the convenience as it is walking distance to shopping, food, and City Hall. The only thing the owners should change are those dim lights. Replace it with bright ones because it was hard to open our luggage (TSA with codes). Also very straining to the eyes. Another one is the parking. If they clear some of the items on the side it may be easier to get out. Other than that if you don't have a vehicle, plenty of taxis and jeepneys.

Pros: budget friendly hotel Very kind and approachable owner Quiet place artistic interior Cons: Poor internet conection, u have to go out of your room to have a better conection. Room is (poorly)warmly lit. You need to open all the lights if you want to read a book. Location is inside the village. but Just a 4 to 5 minutes walk to the highway. Bonus: the owner is the mother of davao's renowed artist. Kublai. His works of art is exhibited in the hallway of the hotel where u can view it for free!

our stay there is like winning lottery.. we got the best of everything for a very cheap price!for less than a we have a king size bed with a garden and pool view,the room is so spacious and very clean as well as the washroom.everything in the room is well functioning..nice big flat screen tv! smiling and friendly staff greet us at the front desk/lobby..the garden has incredible view.the whole place is clean with fresh air,because of the garden and lots of trees.location is with in the city 15 mins away from the airport and 5mins away from major shopping centers..we already refer it to all our friends and we would love to stay again at ritz garden hotel next time we visit davao..

We had a great and satisfying stay, the location is very convenient for shopping as well due to it's accessibility to shopping centers and is also a few minutes away from the airport.It's resto bar served delicious foods and drinks at a very affordable price. We could have a good walk, or jog in the early morning, safe location and not too crowded. Victoria Plaza Mall and Abreeza Mall was a walking distance away, and a lot of restaurants as well as KTV bars and Billiard pools , massage parlors and beauty parlors . No boring moments while i stayed in the hotel, especially seeing the vast collection of artworks of various media made by one person only popularly known as Kublai. An added feature of the hotel is that it has a dental clinic...

The location is very good for a tourist like us. It is near to the tourist spots like the people's park, museo dabawenyo, d' bone collector museum, churches, pasalubong centers and a lot more. There are lots of restaurant, fast food chain and convenient stores nearby. The hotel is clean and quiet, the aircon is very good and the beddings are clean. The space of the room is quite small but if you just stay there to sleep at night there would be no problem at all. The restroom is okay but there are no pail and dipper and a bidet but the hot and cold shower is very good also. There are no toiletries available in the unit, only bath towel and a little soap are there. So, i advise you to bring your own toiletries if you plan to check in here. But over all, Blue Velvet Hotel & Cafe is very practical place to stay because of its low cost offers.

Zen room is located inside Alu hotel. I checked the prices in Alu hotel and the cheapest room is Php2000 but I only paid Php910 for the room I booked here in Zen room. hehehe Thank you Agoda for the vouchers. It's cheap but the room is very spacious!! My boyfriend and I really loved it because it's clean, has a huge bed and the ambiance is very relaxing. It is right in front of Roxas Night Market so it's the best! The staff are also very kind. Our room was on the 4th floor but they have an elevator :D I would definitely come back here!

Pros: very spacious rooms (family and suites room), accessibility, cheap and budget hotel, relatively clean, security, lobby with hot and cold water, coffee available instantly, very homey environment Cons: Check in is 3pm onwards (they dont allow early check in but u can drop ur luggage at the reception), very poor t.v. signal, hot shower not consistently hot, kinda low water pressure in the morning, so-so beddings and linens Overall it was great for its price.

My companion and I enjoyed our stay in this cozy hometel, a cross between a guest house and a hotel.We attended a conference at Apo View Hotel which is just walking distance and La Anclar Hometel provided value for money. During our stay, we were able to squeeze in a stroll at People's Park, dinner at Antonio's (took a cab for this),another evening at Jack's Ridge, shopping at Aldevinco Mall, a visit to the T'boli Weaving Center en route to the airport. For the most part, to get to the sights or to good restaurants, you have to take a cab.The hotel only served breakfast which was OK/filling; it was a different menu every day.
