We chose this hotel because of its location next to Central Shopping Mall which unbeknown to us was closed for a massive refurbishment - to reopen 3 days after we left! I had hoped to find a hotel right next to a BTS station but this hotel proved to be only a A$2 taxi ride from the skytrain (BTS) in one direction or the MRT in the other. The hotel was also in the process of refurbishment and we had one of the new rooms. Even trying hard to give a balanced review I can not think of anything negative about the staff, room,breakfast,facilities or service. All superb. My partner would have liked a TV program guide, which we have often had in 4 star hotels, but was not included in our room.

I was in Bangkok during the curfew times. Therefore, I need to be in a hotel very close to public transport. I was very lucky to be able to stay at Vic3 Hotel Bangkok. It is just within walking distance to the Ari BTS sky train station. The room was very comfortable and all the amenities were top notch. I have no problem staying in the hotel and it was a really pleasan...I was in Bangkok during the curfew times. Therefore, I need to be in a hotel very close to public transport. After I checked out and already back in Malaysia, I received a e-mail saying that the hotel staff found my camera in the safety box. That was very honest of the worker and the officer in charge (Mr Noppadol). I am pleased that we managed to find a solution for the left-camera. I an eternally thankful for their honesty. I wish I know the housekeeping worker who found my camera so that I could thank her/him personally. All in all, the stay was really good and I have a new-found respect on the honesty of the hotel's employees. Good job Vic3 Hotel. I will definitely come again and stay there.

The only unfortunate downside is that I was looking forward to sleeping in on the morning of my particular stay, but was awoken by the unavoidable sounds of pipes clanging, amongst a myriad of other foreign sounds that were produced by construction taking place right outside my room (before 8:00 a.m.). Even with the windows shut, the construction sounded as if it was taking place on the bed right beside me. Now I do understand that this is not the fault of Livotel, as I’m sure it’s not something they’re too happy about either if I had to take a guess, and eventually the construction will finish and all will be peaceful again. But, for the time being, if you’re looking to get a good, long night’s sleep, perhaps look elsewhere until the construction is finalized. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

The only potential negative was a lack of privacy in the pool area. For the duration of my stay, the hotel entrance and pool area were full of non-guests taking selfies. I didn't mind this happening outside the hotel, but when you're swimming in your bathing suit and there's a constant stream of people snapping photos, it feels a bit odd. Other than that, my stay was perfect!

Another way to get to this hotel are using boat service, which the pier is just around 700m from this hotel. It is very cheap, but time consuming. Hotel wise, you can see a good lighting during night time, and some chairs for you to sit beside the pool to relax. The surrounding is very quiet, not much people passing by, a very relaxing experience i had in Bangkok. There are some cookies and tid-bits where you can have it anytime. There are a coffee maker as well for you to have drinks together with the cookies. Room wise, it is quite small, but with everything you need during the stay. TV Channel have up to over hundred channels for you to watch, but most of them are Thai language, but the good thing is the satellite TV channel receiver is in the room, you can change channel language to english, if it is available. Breakfast was average, could have more improvement to be made. Overall, it is a good stay, just a bit over-priced, if you have book this hotel at their normal rate.

My wife and I arrived from Phuket 6 hours before check in time and the staff ushered us right to our room with no problems. The room was excellent as well and spotless. We even made in time for a very cheap and quality breakfast. I can't say enough great things about this hotel. Location is 7 minutes from Mo Chit 2 if you're catching a bus to Cambodia (which we were), taxis are readily available at all hours of the day and the BTS and MRT stations are just a 15 minute walk. You can choose to walk towards Tesco Lotus and from the end of the building cut through the carpark to the hotel. Alternatively, you may wish to enjoy the local favors by walking along the street back to the hotel. There is always an available Taxi at the MRT for a fare of 50 THB. The hotel does provide a free shuttle to the MRT whenever you choose to leave the hotel. The staffs are friendly, helpful and reacted to request when called upon. My room towel rack has fallen off and they send someone knocking on my door as soon as I put down the phone. On an overall, this hotel deserves a 5-star rating and my visit again should I ever come to Bangkok.

It appears that the hotel rooms were recently remodeled and everything was clean and in excellent condition. The room looked just like the pictures for once. Breakfast was very good. As I had read in some other reviews, our room too had a strange smell which I have since associated with sea shells. The other 2 rooms we booked had no such smell. The staff were very polite and happy to help. We booked the hotel for a 1 night transit between the International and Don Muang airport. It was definitely worth the flash price we paid. There are small restaurants nearby but as we were there for only 1 night, we didn't get to explore.

However, it would be easier if you would advice the taxi driver to go along Paholyothin rd, opposite Chatuchak market and turn in at the soi(lane) 18/1 - which is where the BTS central office/ hq is at. From there on just keep looking to the right, the G9 hotel is very easily spottable! :) The staff were friendly, ready to help. I stayed in a standard room with ensuite bathroom. Was very clean. No view in the room, but didn't bother me much. Internet was fast and unlimited (I had to mobile phones and a laptop) and could connect them all to it - i.e. no quota on no. of devices per room. Cupboard in the room had a padlockable door but I didn't bring one - probably a good idea to bring one if staying here :) Soap and shampoo were provided. 5 min walk to Chatuchak MRT/ Mo Chit BTS station. Very convenient. Left for airport via Taxi at 6.50am in the morning, reached at 7.08am 140 Baht (including advanced booking of taxi). Counter staff helped with booking. :) Suitable for fuss free travellers - very near Chatuchak and BTS and airport. :)

The shrimp and boiled rice breakfast is warm and delicious, with fresh squeezed oj and good dark coffee. One of the things that is most special is meeting Tao, the owner and designer of Baan Nai, and her kind father. Tao was generous with her time and recommendations. She even gave me a lift to the market and showed me one of her favorite shops. Her father, quick with a smile and cheerful greeting. The front desk service was exceptional. They checked the train schedule for me and escorted me to the station to book the overnight train to Chiang Mai. If you are going to or coming from Chiang Mai by train, this is the place to stay. The station is literally across the street.

KU is within the Kasetsart University campus. We have been able to meet many students around the campus, especially at the low-cost student canteen and a workout location. KU is within the Kasetsart University campus. We have been able to meet many students around the campus, especially at the low-cost student canteen and a workout location. We have always met interesting Thai and foreign guests at the hotel. We've learned about all kinds of fields of endeavor from people staying there to attend workshops on intercultural communications, all aspects of agricultural fields, or the like, plus getting to interact with secondary students there for short courses or competitions. It's true that getting into other parts of Bangkok is more difficult now that a BTS line is in the process of construction, but when done, the location will be even more attractive.

In fact I could write the same review now that I did then. The staff was very friendly and professional. Of course there was some wear and tear in the room, but it was still extremely clean and comfortable and very spacious. My only negative thing with this hotel is the amount of noise that other guests tend to make because of the clientele that it attracts. Many of them are tourists that get in very late at night and leave very early in the morning on their tour buses. They are very noisy in the hallways and inconsiderate at breakfast. This is not the fault of the hotel necessarily but it is the reason why I can't give them a 10 out of 10. If I found myself in the Don Mueng area again for business, I would definitely stay at this hotel. If you are wanting a hotel where you can sleep in peacefully this may not be your best option.

It's about just under a mile walk to a big tesco lotus and a few shopping malls, excellent stopover hotel as not too far from victory monument station and north bus station if your planning a trip north, quite out the way of all the nightlife so not recommended if its your 1st time in Bangkok, unless it's for business, we made cock up with our intended travel plans and the staff couldn't be more helpful in phoning around to find out minibuses for us etc, please note this is a non smoking hotel and they don't allow 'guests' in your room after 8pm, any 'guest' will be charged 800 baht.

GOOD that this hotel is so accessible to Saphan Kwai BTS station. And the tuk-tuk are to fetch passengers at a fixed rate (find these tuk-tuk at the BIG C supermarket next to the BTS station). So BTS station back to hotel is 40baht. We can also walk... the staff taught us a walk to cut through Paolo Hospital to reach the BTS station and Big C. For the price, it was okay. Everything else is just old... Furnishing, bathroom, bed, noisy airconditioning etc. But it is definitely clean. There's a balcony where I can do some laundry which is great. And there is free wifi... so if you can tolerate all the cons, it is fine. if not, pay for for a better hotel. Travelled with husband, 2 kids (3 yr old and 5 mths old).

The rooms are large, beds are comfortable and the view from high floors is quite nice. The associated laundry service, just outside, is also very convenient and reasonably priced. Most importantly, however, I found that all of the staff here are very helpful and professional. Staff are very friendly, hotel is really nice, location is great, nearby main road has lots of interesting shops and yummy restaurants, cafes and street food, my favourite is the camping ground food court. The rooms were comfortable, quiet and clean. The WiFi was fast and reliable. Hot water in the shower was good and the pressure was ok. Beds are firm, typical for Thailand and to my liking. My only two minor criticisms are I wish there was some shade at the pool area and that some milk was provided to go with the tea/coffee. Otherwise everything was perfect.

I was given a corner room that had two floor-to-ceiling windows; room was clean, spacious, and functionally designed. Also, the (huge!) TV had screen mirroring options so I could cast streaming services from my phone to the TV screen. Location was really convenient - about 7-8 minutes walk to Ari BTS station. There's a small shopping centre next to the BTS station, but there is also a cluster of small shops in Ari Hills - the same building complex as the hotel. This very conveniently includes a pharmacy, a sizeable 7-11, Starbucks, and some decent eateries upstairs. It's a very decent place to stay if you're travelling for work and need a home base.

The room is big with complete amenities, just like the picture. Comfy bed and beddings. They clean the room everyday. Friendly staff. However, they have poor English, so they avoid making conversation with the guess. Most of the time, it hinders them from assisting the guess when needed. They really need to learn more English.
