I am glad i chose Cosi for a few first nights in Samui. The location is a dream right next to big shopping Mall and main street where you just step out to the left and everything are there:foods/bars/shops/massages/entertainment...you name it.. Also Cosi is not too far from the tourist spots like Big Buddha Temple/Wat Plai Laem/the Jungle Club.. Overall Pro: location/...I am glad i chose Cosi for a few first nights in Samui. Con: I stayed on floor 1 (downstairs from the reception) and i can hear the live music from the night market quite clear,like you have a neighbor singing karaoke upstairs till midnight.So if you are not a person with noise please ask for room on top or so. Also my bathroom have a bit of sewer smell came out once a while even though its very new and clean. There are no telephone in the room so if you need anything you can’t just call from your room. But overall I highly recommend Cosi for your first Samui trip if you like to be at the center of everything with affordable pricing and a cosi clean room (sewer smell need to go) and very Nice Staffs. Among all the hotels i have stayed, SALA Chaweng is the best of the best. With great hospitality and very good view, you will experience unforgettable stay in this hotel. I enjoy my stayed at Chaweng Villawee.The location is amazing. It's just 5 mins away from Chaweng Beach and nearby Central Festival ,7-11 ,Night Market , ASK BAR , Green Mango , very convenience. The staff very helpful. Khun Ae and Khun Keam they are very excellent. Nice swimming pool. I very like it. Only one thing should be improve " Breakfast" there is no choice. ...I enjoy my stayed at Chaweng Villawee.The location is amazing. It's just 5 mins away from Chaweng Beach and nearby Central Festival ,7-11 ,Night Market , ASK BAR , Green Mango , very convenience. The staff very helpful. We had an air con double room, which was large, modern, clean and bright. The wifi and air con were nice and strong too! The large outdoor pool is nice, and they have a good happy hour on some of the cocktails which are delicious for what you pay! The hotel was refurbished in 2010, and I believe they did a great job. We paid around $25 AUD a night for the hotel room an...We had an air con double room, which was large, modern, clean and bright. The wifi and air con were nice and strong too! I wish I could have stayed here for longer. We were only in Koh Samui for 3 nights and we chose the best hotel in town. This hotel is brilliantly located at the north end of Chaweng so 5 minutes walk to all the bars and restaurants but just out of the main area so dead quiet at night. This hotel is brilliantly located at the north end of Chaweng so 5 minutes walk to all the bars and restaurants but just out of the main area so dead quiet at night. There are some nice bars, restaurants if you walk up the beach to the left, even the beach water gets nice clean to the left.. Nice rooms, we had a superior room which had enormous bed, a massive bath tub and brilliant hot powerful shower. Chaweng is great, lots of bars and restaurants.

I booked a discount "run of the hotel" room and when I arrived found out it was to be on the fourth floor of the new building, which has no elevators. I am 63, overweight and have high blood pressure and told this to the staff. They immediately upgraded me to a beautiful room in the main building with only modest stairs (although no elevators here also). I was using one of the computers for Internet and when it was not functioning right they came from behind the desk to get me on another computer that was fine. They got me a van ride to the airport at the standard price of 400 baht that was waiting early for me on my day of departure. The staff was always friendly and helpful. The room was also quite nice in the main building. The bed was devine! Just a short walk around the corner to Chaweng Beach Blvd where songtels run that took me to restaurants and night life for no more than 50 baht. All and all I had a wonderful two days at this hotel and on Samui in general.

Breakfast is basic but does the job, you get coffee and juice plus a choice of 5-6 set meals. The location is perfect - the sun loungers are a bit old and run down, but it's generally been quiet save the odd plane overhead which is standard for the area. 5 minutes walk down the beach and you're at Ark Bar but you can barely hear it at night from the room. To get to the reception from the main road is not great with suitcases, but that's about the only grumble I have. 10 minute walk at most to the main social hub of Chaweng Beach, so you're close enough to the crazy without really knowing it. Get an outdoor massage here - outstanding!

Ended up in the basic rooms.. there is a fridge, and the beds are very comfortable. First night our room faced the street and it was too noisy, not to mention the hallway noise echos. If you have booked like me for a higher rate and you see later that the hotel offers the same room Typ, same dates the room for lower rate, contact Agoda to adjust the rate., because they have a Low Price Guarantee. They will ask you for a screenshot to proof the lower rate. It costed my some nerves and a lot of emails, but finally I got the refund. So be careful when you book this hotel.

That was really awesome as the market takes place only on fridays. Great recommendation for Thai food restaurant and things to see around the island(loved the Jungle club,waterfalls,etc). Hotel itself is 10 minutes walk from Ark bar and in pretty quiet area. Breakfast included was alright.Familymart and 7eleven next door. Good place to rent a scooter 30 meters up the street. Only downside was internet connection in the room,but that`s pretty much the case all around the island.It worked good in the reception/restaurant area though. Overall great stay!!

I've stayed at the Chaweng Budget Hotel now a few times during my many years of visiting Koh Samui. I've shopped around for various other hotels over the years, but I always seem to find myself wanting to come back to the Chaweng Budget Hotel. For one thing, the hotel is in a good location. South Chaweng is, to my mind, the best part of Chaweng Beach. You get away fro...I've stayed at the Chaweng Budget Hotel now a few times during my many years of visiting Koh Samui. I've shopped around for various other hotels over the years, but I always seem to find myself wanting to come back to the Chaweng Budget Hotel. For one thing, the hotel is in a good location. South Chaweng is, to my mind, the best part of Chaweng Beach. You get away from the crowds and the noise, and yet you can get down to the busy strip easily enough if you want to. The beach itself is also much better for swimming at this end, and it's generally just a nicer area overall. The staff at the Chaweng Budget Hotel are always friendly. Each time I stay, it feels like coming home. The rooms are clean and well-attended, and they still offer one of the best breakfasts on the entire strip for this kind of money. Plus, you get to use the health and pool facilities of its sister hotel. All in all, it's hard to beat the Chaweng Budget Hotel for this kind of money.

Stayed here for 7 nights in a bungalow and couldn’t fault Pandora all, you get a lot of bang for your buck. nice quaint comfortable rooms a decent breakfast down to the strong hot showers this place...If your looking for a 5 star hotel then this isn’t it. For £13 a night this hotel was perfect - massive double room got upgraded because a birthday when we arrived. (We did ask for a room away from the road because of the noise and the upgraded room we were given was on the road but it wasn’t too noisy that we wanted to change) AC and private bathroom all very clean, water, fridge and towels provided. Beach access was a bit difficult have to walk up to Ark Bar to get access as no other hotel allowed to cut through to the beach. Great stay!

Very nice restaurant 6. Wifi is good working Bad point 1. Little noise Samui boxing stadium is close to hotel. So advertising sound is to make some noise. But late at night stop sound so it is not big deal. 2. Mosquitoes Little mosquitos in room. I would stay again if I will come again Samui. Really really super best!!!!

The place is really quiet given that is right in Chaweng. The beach chairs are nice and the staff is friendly. The bed was fine but they don't change your sheets, just make up the bed. Not a big deal for me but for some maybe it is. The A/C worked well but I have to say since it's a beach bungalow, I did get a lot of mosquito bites! If you are on a budget and want a place on the beach with access to bars, stay here. I think the best part is walking down the beach at night to all the bars and eating on the beach. Swimming is ok, just shallow water.

Pros: I love teakwood, and all the furniture in the rooms is made of it, I have seldom seen that in hotels, this must have been expensive. Large and nice rooms. Huge swimming-pool (108m is nice for advertising, but I would not choose a hotel because of that). Very friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Cons: I hate uncovered concrete, and there is plenty of it No drinking water provided. No pool-bar. Very noisy when planes taking of a the nearby airport. They fly that close, that I am wondering, that it was allowed to build a high building there. Internet not working most of the time. At night no staff there.

The only thing that I found slightly odd was payment with credit card. I ended up booking another 2 nights there and payed directly to the hotel. They made it seem like the credit card machine was not working, but it was as I insisted on paying by credit card. If they ask you to pay cash, or go to the cash machine across the street.. don't. The machine works. I assume they prefer cash rather than paying the credit card fees. Overall, a great experience!

The Go Samui hotel represents great value and offered us a two bedroom unit at a great Agoda price. We also booked this hotel because it is at least a klm from the main streets and nightlife of Chaweng. Unfortunately, this became a bit of a negative as the taxi services hold you to ransom and the tuk-tuks represent no better value when you have 4 in your group. We also booked this hotel because it is at least a klm from the main streets and nightlife of Chaweng. Unfortunately, this became a bit of a negative as the taxi services hold you to ransom and the tuk-tuks represent no better value when you have 4 in your group. Taxi prices are more expensive than Melbourne and drivers refuse to turn their meters on. The value is hiring motorscooters but my wife and girls do not have the confidence to try them, seeing people walking around swathed in bandages does little to convince them to give it a go. The hotel itself was fantastic, and despite not having a food facility there are good restaurants and bars around it. The Anong cafe 3 doors down was a particular favorite of ours with A grade food at reasonable prices. Our room did not have tea and coffee making facilities provided, my wife enquired at the desk and a kettle and cups were quickly produced. This was our first visit to Samui and it is a very impressive holiday destination but be aware it's not as easy to walk around as somewhere like Patong. Be prepared to pay a lot of money on taxis and tuk-tuks. I did not see a bus in the 6 days we were there, the island appears to need a good bus service to put some competitive pressure on the greedy taxi and tuk-tuk operators who have the tourists stuck between a rock and a hard place.

The pick up to the hotel and to the airport. The staff is very helful always with a smiling face. The resort is spread along 2 sides of the main road. If u r staying in rooms close to the beach then they always have a golf cart ready in 2 3 mins. The beach restraunt is nice along with the common pool with good music playing around throughout the day. The private pool is accesible from the room itself. And the beat part is the lightings. The view is mesmirising at night as well during the day. The lights in the pool allows to have agood swim during night hours as well. Bathroom is huge with a jacuzzi facing the pool and the beach. The sun beds are also comfortable enough besides the private pool. Had an awesome experience. A big thanks to Mr.Babu who was very friendly and attended to all our needs. You just think of something and Mr.Babu has the answer to it. From the time we checked in till we checked out throughout our stay he made sure that we had a comfortable stay. Hotel can arrange the car or bike if you want to drive along. Food: Buffet breakfast was perfect with a vast variety. Also the lunch dinner and snacks were good. Room service avilable also you can enjoy the food next to the beach. Conclusion: A perfect resort. Will definetly recommend bhundhari to anybody visiting koh samui.

Location isn't super central, but at large that is an advantage and getting to party central is an easy 20 minute walk or a cheap taxi away. Still many of shops near by, including an adjacent 7/11. Minor cons: Massage at the Spa wasn't the best (countless great options outside the hotel though), pillows weren't the comfiest, ants in the pool area.

The shop is around five minutes walk towards Chaweng shopping precinct (Burger King etc.) on the left hand side of the road. Down that same side street, you will find internet cafe (1BHT/min) who are also able to do tour bookings - see Chicken (English translation for his real name!). Be sure to book yourself onto the Jungle Safari - though attempt to bargain them down. Originally 1,700BHT, I got for 1,500BHT and a mate was able to bargain another agent down to 1,100BHT! At the end of this side road is the Ark Bar - best eatery in Samui-a must try. Also, nearby on the other side of the road you will find Martin's Place - small, friendly & tasty eatery with Italian and Thai cuisine. The people of Samui rock! If you can be in Samui for the Full Moon Party, do it. But hit Koh Phangnan for the party itself. Bus/speedboat transfers between Samui and Koh Phangnan are easily arranged at around 600 Baht.
