The location of this hotel couldn't have been better - very close to the Odeon metro station, only a few stops from Gare du Nord and situated on a quiet back street of upmarket independent shops with cosy cafe bars nearby. We were upgraded to a superior room, which was very lovely, having a large bed comfortable bed, a small table and chairs to relax in, and very pleasing decor. The staff were very courteous and helpful. The room wasn't large, but big enough - I suspect we would have found the standard room a little small. Free wi-fi is included. We had a problem with one of the log-in codes and this was replaced as soon as we mentioned it. The hotel also runs an honesty bar in the evening, which we didn't use, but we thought it was a lovely touch and the bar area looked extremely cosy. All in all this was a super little hotel - very attractive, friendly, a little quirky and in a great area. We had breakfast both mornings in Le Danton, a great down-to-earth cafe/bistro between the hotel and the metro with reasonable prices. I highly recommend this hotel.

Booked with Agoda for new year trip in Paris and paid €275 per night (breakfast included) for Eiffel room. What a disappointment: - Our view was internal courtyard, no Eiffel tower in sight - The room had outdated red wall, not ideal for bedroom - Noisy, when the hotel neighbours walked - Cheaper hotel rate can be found on Hotel Tonight app. Positive side: - Bathroom shower was amazing - Location is 10/10 - Decent breakfast and attentive breakfast staffs

very good location and nice staff. the rooms are small, but fully equipped. you need to wisely arrange your suitcases to have enough room to walk. you may want to rent the apartment nearby which is operated by the hotel and I've heard that it is bigger than the hotel room. breakfast not included. but the supermarket is just 4-5 minutes walking, and a lot of cafeterias and bakery shops around, so you do not really need to buy breakfasts from the hotel.

Everything at the Citadines Prestige St Germain-des-Pres was excellent. We were very warmly received upon our arrival. The front office staff was very patient and thorough in explaining to us the facilities and services. He also acknowledged all the requests that we had made when booking online and where this could not be granted, he nicely explained the rationale. He also offered plenty of useful information as well as a map of Paris and a detailed one for the hotel vicinity with information on where we have supermarkets, pharmacies, bakeries and so on. The room was also made available to us upon arrival as requested even though we arrived before the usual check-in time. We were also pleasantly surprised by the room - more spacious than they looked on the internet. The room was clean and both the bed in the bedroom as well as the sofa bed in the living room were very comfortable. Toiletries were well replenished daily along with towel change and clearing of the bins but thorough cleaning is done once every 3 days which is adequate. The hotel's location is tops - 5 minutes' walk to St Michel metro station and 10 minutes' walk to Cluny la Sorbonne. Plenty of restaurants, bakeries, pharmacies and shops in the vicinity and it's within a short walking distance to the Notre Dame. Upon check-out, we were also well attended to by a courteous and professional front office staff. Great hotel/service apartment to stay in.

Very pleasant and helpful staff who speaks excellent English. Very grateful to Samir who always attends to my requests and went out of the way to help me check on my personal pre-arranged airport transfer. The walls murals are very pretty. Lovely artwork. Other then a little lacking in bathroom amenities, this hotel is excellently located near metro stations, shopping street and many restaurants and breakfast bakeries.

We usually rent apartments while in Paris. When the last rental was not up to our expectations, we were literally on the street looking on Trip Advisor for a good hotel. We immediately booked this hotel online and could not have been more delighted. The location is truly the best, near Notre Dame, strolling the Seine, fantastic restaurants and so much more. Very safe area, Free wifi, safe, AC... Oh the shopping :-) some of the best little boutiques around! Henri and the rest of the lovely staff could not have been more helpful and entertaining. The restaurants Henri booked for us were excellent and just steps away from the hotel. Guests are treated like family and it's so refreshing to be surrounded by people who enjoy their job and making sure their guests are happy. The room was clean, non-smoking, the beds very comfortable and even being on the 2nd floor (US floor) it was quiet. This charming hotel from the 1500's offered all the creature comforts. I also like the fact that it did not smell old or dated. We did not have the breakfast because we choose to sleep in, we heard it was wonderful! Next time we will make an effort to get up earlier to enjoy it. We have never felt more welcomed like this in a hotel before - felt more like we were visiting friends. There was also a great vibe with the guests - everyone was friendly and we had dinner with 2 wonderful sisters with whom we exchanged emails and facebook. We will definitely be returning, Relais Hotel du Vieux Paris was one of the highlights of our 2 weeks trip in France! Room Tip: No matter what room you get, it will be nice to return to after spending the day enjoying everything...

Pros: -The hotel is in an excellent location. You are extremely close to the metro and to buses. There are restaurants everywhere, and best of all is the little express supermarket on the right. You can buy cheeses and breads for cheap and bring them with you on an excursion. -The room is comfortable and traditional, while the bathroom has good quality toiletries. (Accept that all rooms in Paris are minuscule. Compared to most, this was quite good.) -The breakfast is not a large selection, but good quality. -Have I mentioned the location? Cons: -The service is mediocre at best. It is inconsistent - it depends on whoever is a the front desk. One guy was helpful, another was a complete tool. Overall: I can get used to a loser at the front desk when it means staying in a lovely room, in an ideal location. :)

This hotel was in a perfect location. We travelled by euro star and the hotel was about 8 stops on the metro to Saint Placide which is a short walk to the hotel. There are lots of shops and restaurants around the hotel and a lovely atmosphere. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We were a party of three so had a three bedded room which was well decorated and an adequate size. Only complaint the wardrobe door was broken and would not pull across. The room had all the extras as in tea making facilities, toiletries and tissues, slippers and hairdryer. Breakfast was good and croissants, orange, cake, coffee and nibbles were left in the dining room to help yourself during the day.

For us, it was a risk booking this hotel in advance since it was still finishing renovations at the time of our booking (June 2012). When we arrived in July, however, the rooms and lobby were beautifully equipped. The room was indeed small, however, I was told that this is usually the norm in Paris, especially when it is located in the heart of the city. The room had a wonderful, serene atmosphere with warm lighting. Perhaps the best part of the room was the Tempur bed and pillows which made going back to the hotel at the end of each day really indulgent. The staff was helpful and friendly. They were understanding of tourists and willing to assist the guests in whichever way they could -- from directions to booking an airport-hotel transfer. All in all, we were so pleased we decided to stay in the Legend Saint Germain; we would definitely do so again in the future.

The Adriatic Hotel was just fabulous. From the moment we arrived the staff were friendly and efficient. The hotel was attractive and inviting with a sitting room off the lobby area as well as a small, nicely appointed breakfast area. Our room was small but this is what we expect in Paris. It was very nicely decorated with a good size bathroom. Very clean and all we needed. Complimentary wine and nibbles were appreciated each evening, a nice touch indeed after a long day sightseeing! Lots of cafes and restaurants close by. Highly recommend the Aviatic. We will be back.

Located a 5/10 min walk from the metro in St Germain, easy to walk to Odeon area which is great for couples with lots of cafes/bars etc, much better than Monmartre district. 50 metres away are the gardens and palace of Luxumbourg, definitely worth a visit. The hotel itself very Parisian looking, staff all spoke good english so checking in/out was easy. Room was clean, and serviced daily. Bathroom on the small side (and smelt a little musty), tiny bath but with shower, although overall the room was much better/larger than you would get in London, and great value for the location. Opted out of the €16 breakfast for the lovely bakery opposite. As self confessed hotel snobs, we both would recommend and return here ourselves.

Upon arrival the hotel was smaller than what i expected from the pictures on the booking site but that was not a disadvantage, rather the contrary. Except narrow corridors the room was spacious, the bed extremely comfortable and the staff very friendly. I think the daily, kind communication with front desk very much contributed to our visit. Breakfast was not included for us but we added that one morning, it was good for sure! I can recommend to add it since getting a reasonable breakfast in Paris (unless you manage on a black coffee and a croissant) is not so easy and affordable. We also brought a baby car that was not too small but never any kind of negative attitude, always helpful with storage. I feel as if the staff working in the hotel contributed a lot in providing a good stay for us, grateful to them!

I highly recommend Hotel le Clement for anyone traveling for sightseeing in Paris. It is the perfect location for walking through the streets and enjoying the local atmosphere of outdoor cafes, shops, attractions, etc. We had a 2 bedroom suite on the 5th floor which was very spacious and bright. The bathroom was a decent size with a nice newer shower. Each room had its own TV and heat pump/AC unit. The elevator is extremely small, but we had no issues with it. Coffee/tea/etc is 3€ each and breakfast is 14€ PP if you wish to buy it. All the staff were excellent, and the hotel was spotlessly clean with no strong smells. There is a safe in the room. There are umbrellas available. I only had 2 comments of things we wished for... a small refrigerator in the room and/or an available ice machine to keep a few items cold and to put in drinks. Ice was in short supply when we were there. Also, just a note that the shower is extremely slippery when wet, so a bath mat would be a good idea.

Excellent location with plenty of food options within a very short walk, staff were super friendly and helpful. Room was modern and clean. The Subway and Bus stops are a very short walk away. The rooms are very small, but I'm guessing this is a typical Paris thing as space is an issue. With the small room comes hallway noise, so I didn't get the best sleeps. I was in room 13, so directly above the reception desk and near the stairs and lift. But overall a great 3 night stay, with myself and my 12 year old daughter! Paris is AMAZING!!!!!

We loved this hotel we stayed here for 5 nights and we'll be sure coming back if we're ever in Paris! The hotel decoration and garden is beautiful. Staff helpful and friendly. Great coffee at their breakfast. The only downside is that the room is small and if we were a little bigger I could see how it could've been a problem. for us, it didn't matter too much. The location is the best thing (even our taxi driver from the airport said it's a very good location), quiet and safe street but in 2 minutes walk from everything we wanted. Thanks for making our stay fun :)

The Hotel Villa Madame is located on a quiet street only 2 mingles away from the Luxembourg Gardens. Don't let the location on a map dissuade you. It is within a three minute walk of three separate metros and buses that allow you to traverse the city without easily. It is a five minute walk to the heart of the Saint Germain District. More importantly it is a one minute walk to a fabulous bakery that the regulars line up at to get their morning pastries and bread and again at 3.30 when the children finish school. By 6:00 PM the shelves are bare. Runners are in the perfect spot for an early morning run at the Luxembourg Gardens. This hotel is about an 8 minute walk from several major department stores. Most of the resturants in the area have great food wine and ambiance. The staff at Villa Madame were amazing. Nothing was too difficult and they were always there to guide us and offer whatever assistance we needed. The hotel knew it was a special occasion as wee were there for my husband's 50th birthday and we were surprised with a lovely gift of champagne and macaroons on arrival. We did change rooms after our first night as the first one was a bit small, even though the room was sweet, but when we asked for another bigger room the staff went out of their way to make us feel as comfortable as possible. a big thank you to Camie, Nicholas, Jules and Frederick for making our visit to Paris to be a magical experience. If we ever have the chance to go to Paris again we will definitely stay at Villa Madame again.

1st impression of the hotel was that it was very small. The lobby area is small but clean. Room was equally small but very clean and new. Although small, the room is well equip with the neccessasity and very cosy. Bed and toilet was clean, new and very well furnish. Hotel Staff was friendly and helpfule specially Elsa. She took her time and explain clearly to us how to get to our destinations and also offer advise on how we can save on transportation. There are also lots of nice cafes and restaurant within walking distance. Metro is a mere 3 min walk and is extremely convinient to travel around. Added bonus is the free wifi that the hotel provides. I will definitely stay there again if I visit Paris again.

We almost lost a hotel reservation because Agoda messed it up. They had no information about the room (sleeps 3, when we had a family of 4), no refund, extra charges for for an extra person in a room from the original booking price. Then on a day that we were driving to Paris received a warning that hotel can not accommodate us. So Agoda added a sleeps 4 and charged extra into the booking without hotel being aware of it. Great. My french friend had to call hotel, Agoda, because there no refund and have a room to sleep. We were exhausted from driving for 7 hours from the southern France, with two kids, and roomless. With no WiFi on the road and phone card eating up money like crazy. Worse experience booking with Agoda, never again. Hotel manager was super nice, Way to go French People, thank you. He squeezed another foldable bed for one more person, by rotating main queen bed. It was a very tight space we had to squeeze between wall and beds. Considering amount of money we paid.

we would definitely return and recommend hotel artus. we had heard the rooms were small (which is very typical in paris especially in the st. germain area, so we booked a superior. the room was comfortable and the big terry robes and slippers a lovely touch. the lighting was good in the bathroom and the shower was great. there was even a close up make up mirror. the staff always had a smile and sanjay the concierge went out of his way to help us. we really didn't want to leave! one of the best parts of the hotel notwithstanding its comfort and great service was its location.....fabulous, right in the heart of st. germain, and walking distance to the louvre, notre dame, musee d'orsay not to mention all the great shops and cafes. the only down side of our stay was the internet service, which is complimentary, was intermittent and not as strong in our room location unfortunately. i would make sure you ask them about this. otherwise its a wonderful place to stay.

The highlight of this property was probably the most helpful staff. I was on a solo business trip for 7 nights in Hotel Le Placide and was overwhelmed by the informative and helpful front desk team on every possible aspects. The guys who served me breakfast every morning were extremely attentive and knew what they were doing. They cooked me requested omelettes and boiled eggs when I asked for it. I had a pleasant stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend anyone to stay here!

We enjoy staying in small independent hotels. Hotel St Pierre has been remodeled recently. Room 24 had 2big windows, spacious by European standards, good beds, tub/shower with plenty water pressure and hot hot water, big closet with hangers, smallish desk, tv, adequate # electric sockets. No buffet breakfast, during the week you can buy breakfast at the bistro next door €8.50 for coffee/tea, croissant, baguette, butter and jam. Room service for 1€ more Weekends the bistro is closed and little breakfast is served in lobby. No coffee making facilities in room but there was a mini fridge, we bought goodies locally and had our trusty emersion heater and brought a couple mugs. There was street and bistro noise even on the 4th floor. Hotel is across from a Sorbonne college so student noise in am and late afternoon. Didn’t bother us though. Short walks to 2 metro stations, bus lines, numerous cafes,bistros, patisseries and a Marks&Spencer grocery with variety takeout cold sandwiches etc.

The hotel and the staff where gracious, friendly and attentive. They even called me the night before check out to see if I needed to book a taxi for the airport. The room was small, which is to be expected given you are in an old historic location in Paris. But it had three twin beds, perfect for my family of 3. The air conditioning was also handy and worked without a glitch; there was a record setting heatwave with 38C temperatures at the time. The room also had a private bathroom with plenty room. The location was superb! Quiet yet close to everything: bars, restaurants, cafes, patisseries, boutiques, the Louvre, Pantheon, Luxembourg gardens, D'Orsay, Norte Dame, Latin Quarter, you name it! I will absolutely try stay here again in the future.

We had the most wonderful experience with the hotel. It is a beautiful boutique typical French hotel in one of smaller inside streets but right around the corner of larger ones w/tons of cafes, restaurants, shopping. It was just perfect! Our room 52 was simply gorgeous: nice updated bathroom, lovely French decor, balcony & breathtaking views of the city rooftops. We stayed 6 nights. The room was cleaned daily & in perfect condition. There is so much to do in the area: Luxembourg gardens - 10 min walk, several metro stations right around the corner. It’s very easy to get to the hotel from Charles de Gaulle airport by taking Train from Per B right to Port Royal station - super convenient location. The staff was very friendly & accommodating. We loved complimentary drinks/snacks in room & afternoon coffee/chocolate/snacks in the lobby. Everything was just perfect! Thank you!!!

We chose this hotel because of the location which indeed is great. Walking distance to many of the most popular sights and also very close to the metro. We were pleasantly surprised of the nice rooms that were clean and had everything we needed (really good AC, WiFi, safety box, good bathroom, hair dryer) - except a water boiler. We asked for a quiet room when we booked and the room was indeed very quiet so we slept well. The room was small of course, that is to be expected in Paris. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was not included and was quite pricey, but there are a lot of other options nearby so it is not a problem. We did eat the breakfast once and it was ok. We did not eat anything else in the hotel since there are so many good restaurants nearby. I've been to France many times and I will use this hotel again on my next visit to Paris.

Room initially was fine, small like you expect in Paris but with the best part of the city just outside your door. We were pleasantly surprised to turn up at 12 pm to find our room ready for us. (Make sure you go to the Petit Belloy and not its 4 star big sister across the road, the Hotel Belloy). But we were unpleasantly surprised by a shower that did not drain, flooding the bathroom. After 2 days the hotel got a real plumber in and lift got a little drier. Also, the breakfast served is very complete but at 15 euros is twice the going rate. Better to forage in the neighbourhood for brekkies. The main staff person we dealt with, Pierre Antoine, was super helpful. The others, meh. I would definitely stay here again, especially at the great rate Agoda got for us.

A friend and I visited Paris in early December 2016, and we each had separate rooms at the Hôtel Left Bank. From check-in to check-out, we found everyone at the hotel to be extremely helpful and courteous. They were gracious on arrival when we were jet-lagged and our French skills still fuzzy. Desk staff were always helpful with our questions about the city and sights. Our rooms were tidy, clean, surprisingly quiet given the street noise below, and warm on some chilly nights. We took a chance based on online reviews on a hotel we did not know much about and were very happy with our stay. Location is amazing, centrally located, and easy to venture out from. I would happily stay here again for a visit to Paris! Our thanks to all the staff there who add to the atmosphere.

The hotel has many charms and many beautiful characteristics. The interior design of the reception room was very warm and welcoming. Staffs were friendly and helpful during our stay. We stayed in the double room with a balcony. The room was very clean and it has reasonable space for luggage on the floor, wardrobe for clothing and a cupboard to put our staff; good enough for a couple. We made a request for higher level room and were pleased that they accommodated us with our request. Attractions were within walking distance. Questionnaires were sent to us before and during our stay to ensure that we have the best service and a follow up email for feedback. The only slight negative was the room was a little hotter than expected as we could not adjust the temperature at The only negative was the temperature control in the room could not be set lower, slightly hot at night. Overall, we have enjoyed our stay throughout and would return to stay again if we are visiting Paris in the future.

The stay was great. The staff was very, very, very helpful. The concierge was amazing and gave us good tips on how to get around and where to go. The location right on St. Germain as actually a very reasonable walking distance to Notre Dam, the Louve and other shops and stores. Lots of art galleries in that area. More importantly, the Metro station entrance is right there. The Concierge showed me how to navigate and it was really easy to get around Paris. The rooms weren't too small, but certainly weren't big. The price was expensive (as are all Paris hotels in the summer) and competitive with other 4 star hotels in that area. Great stay and I would stay there again without hesitation.
