We live in southern Thailand and we use this hotel alot for one night stopovers in Bangkok, it is in close proximity to the international airport, also very close to Central Bang-na shopping centre. The staff are always very helpful and the rooms are of a good standard. The only negative is the swimming pool, really not suitable for young children, borderline dangerous...We live in southern Thailand and we use this hotel alot for one night stopovers in Bangkok, it is in close proximity to the international airport, also very close to Central Bang-na shopping centre. The only negative is the swimming pool, really not suitable for young children, borderline dangerous, the swimming pool is only one depth, i think around 2m, but the water is only fill to about 1.5m, so is it impossible for young kids to reach the edge of the pool when they get tired, so they could only safely swim near the access ladder as that is the only place they could grab onto.

This was our first stay at this hotel & have to say, for what we paid, we were very impressed & will happily return. The location in Bang-na / Samut Prakarn is convenient for BITEC & the hotel is only a short walk from Bearing BTS station. Hotel staff were pleasant & helpful & or room (Studio) was spacious, bright, comfortable, in good condition & importantly clean! Ye...This was our first stay at this hotel & have to say, for what we paid, we were very impressed & will happily return. The location in Bang-na / Samut Prakarn is convenient for BITEC & the hotel is only a short walk from Bearing BTS station. Hotel staff were pleasant & helpful & or room (Studio) was spacious, bright, comfortable, in good condition & importantly clean! Yes, coffee, stocked mini bar, toiletries & even bath robes provided. Again for the price paid, breakfast was excellent & an outdoor egg station provided your choice of eggs & bacon. Buffet items were hot & the whole breakfast experience quite pleasant. There's good on site car parking too. We will happily stay again & at current pricing, it's a bargain - as long as you want to be in this area of Bangkok.

Very very value for money for the condition of the room but I suppose this is a way to get more guests since it is a new hotel. Grab the offer while it lasts. Locations is not good though, its a 3 min walk into a soi and walking distance you can only find a japanese eatery and a cake shop. outside the soi is a busy main road. no 7/11, petrol kiosk about 5mins further down. However, with a car/grab/uber, the location is pretty good. near to 3 big shopping centres and the Train market srinakarin. About 10mins cab ride to the BTS station. but location does not affect me, will definately stay again.

I love this hotel alot n from hotel to Seacon Mall and night train market only 10min away . But if you plan to go city area like The Platinum , MBK or siam paragon is far . Far from BTS . Nearest BTS is Bang Na but Won't advice you cos is very far . You may get Grab or Uber over . Local food place nearby . Nice and quite clean . 7-11 too . The rooms on promotion are usually in the new block, with rates from 700 baht to 1000 baht per nights. The air-conditioning in the room wasn't working as splendid, but we didn't have problem sleeping through the night because our day time in the conference was tiring. The other accessibility in the room were TV and fridge with complimentary 2 bottles of water per day, which was pretty decent for a 700 baht per day room. The staff was simply amazing! They greet you well, speak to you well, attend to all your needs when you need them. It might have helped a lot with me knowing Thai, but they were really nice. Arrangements for taxi everyday to BITEC was never an issue, and there was definitely a personal touch to the homey hospitality the staff gave. Location of AVANA wasn't hard to get to. Get a taxi from the airport for about 200bath to 500baht; or a Mini-van for 1300baht(fitting 10 person) to AVANA took only 30 minutes max. The landmarks around AVANA was BITEC, Central Bang Na Mall and the Bang Na BTS Station. Any decent driver would know where to get to AVANA. Taxi was just a 40baht ride from AVANA to BITEC. I almost forgot, WIFI isn't included in their package. So for those who can't live with WiFI, AVANa may not be the best hotel. You can pay for an hourly,daily and weekly plan; but getting a 1GB plan from the nearest 7-11 for 79BHT is much worth the price, unless you hate walking. Overall, if I had another conference in BITEC, I would still go for AVANA. It's pretty accessible, comfortable, and the staff was good. Their cafe has decent food, while their chinese restaurant probably is an overkill for those in budget. Going to Central Bang Na for their street food or food court is much better.

This was our second stay at Oakwood Garden Towers. Two years ago the rooms seemed brand new. They are still in great condition. The rooms are very clean, and there is lovely rugs. Usually, I don't like carpeting in Asia because of the musty smell and lack of deep cleaning. The kitchen is well-equipped (even a vegetable peeler), and I was able to make several quick meals for my family. The beds and duvet are very comfortable. There is also no outside noise or noise from other rooms. A peaceful nights sleep is easy to get here. There is a game room with foosball and table tennis. Our kids spent a couple hours playing there. There is a big new western-style mall (Mega) with lots of name brand stores, including IKEA. There is also Central Bang-na, which is a good mall. Both malls are only minutes from the hotel and have plenty of restaurant choices. There is a free shuttle to the malls, but you will have to take a taxi back. You can take a taxi to the BTS station, which takes about 10 minutes and costs about 70 Baht.

Booked room for 5 nights since this is the first time we have been to this hotel. Not sure what to expect. After the 3rd night, decided to book additional 7 nights. It is that good. Will be coming back here for 14 more nights at the end of our vacation. Pool is nice but only 3-4feet deep, water is cool. Jacuzzi tub is cold only, not heated. The staff here was very friendly and accommodating. My room was very clean and spacious. Location was near Bang-Na BTS station for quick, easy travel throughout Bangkok. It was difficult to get a taxi here, because of the hotel being located on a side road. Although many taxis passed by, most of them were occupied. I got caught in the rain and had a difficult time getting a taxi back to the hotel from Bang-Na BTS. I ended up walking quite a distance in the rain and passing by numerous "taxi stops" where people were lined up waiting. I finally ended up flagging down a motorbike taxi to take me back to the hotel after about a half hour of walking.

Now Seacon Square has changed to a well managed shopping mall n there is a roo fai night market here n traffic is more convenient than before, these are no more excuses for me not to come back here again. Restaurant is same good as before . Obviously, price is more high than before but is still acceptable. To me, I would regrant this hotel as my good five hotel in BKK and the number one must hotel at this price. Bathroom is reasonably older than before.

Stayed here 5 times now and have noticed it get busier over last 18 months with good reason , the staff are well trained and will accomodate requests with a posotive friendly response . This is a good value option in a great location with good street food options as well as 2 711's within 100m. Also central plaza bang na is about a 5 min walk away. It's about 3km from the BTS but there are busses running frequently from the mall or I actually really enjoyed walking through the back streets to udom Suk and chose this option most of the time. My only criticisms are that the air-conditioner in my room (212) was quite noisy and also had a bright light displaying the temperature that disturbed my sleep a little. Also one of the neighbouring houses likes to play music quite loudly from about 4am. My room was at the back so if you're gonna stay here maybe request a room at the front then the music shouldn't be an issue. The only other issue I had was some staining on the sheets and one of the pillows. I know the place is cheap but even so, a certain basic level should be expected. All in all I would still consider here when next staying in bang na.

i originally booked one night to see how loft 77 was, after a few hours there i booked two more nights, the rest of my stay. the rooms all have their own theme based on the geography of thailand. painted in fun colors and designs based on the floor's theme, the room gives a fun relaxing feel. the room was extremely clean with modern fittings. the shower was strong and ...i originally booked one night to see how loft 77 was, after a few hours there i booked two more nights, the rest of my stay. the rooms all have their own theme based on the geography of thailand. painted in fun colors and designs based on the floor's theme, the room gives a fun relaxing feel. the room was extremely clean with modern fittings. the shower was strong and the water warm, the bed was large and very comfortable. the air condition was powerful and obviously clean as well. the only complaint was that some of the tv stations were grainy, but the only reason i turned it on was to get an update on the olympics, so this is a very minor detail. the staff were extremely friendly and chatted with me each time i left and returned asking me about my day and if they could do anything to help me. the location does seem a bit off the beaten path, but i was able to jump on a songtaow (pickup taxi) for 7 baht (9 after 10pm) and get a ride to the big c which is a 3-5minute walk to the onut bts station. onut to siam is no more than 15minutes and about 35baht. a motorcycle taxi from loft 77 directly to the bts costs 30-40baht and a meter taxi from loft 77 to the airports costs about baht. i have stayed at many places in my years living here in thailand and i can say that this was one of the nicest. i will be returning the next time i visit bangkok

I spent 12 days there in their larger room. It was a very nice room, great bed. Wonderful maids. Its a small hotel with key card entry after dark. The hotel is a family business and the owner upgraded my room after a small problem I had with my reservation thru Agodas online system. At no charge! This was customer service at its best! The area is close to the Onnut skytrain station so you can get down town in mins. The hotel has a mini laundry, with very reasonable machine rates. They give you 10% off on drinks at their coffee shop. Very good capuccinos and smoothes. Every day they have alittle breackfast menu its only 50 baht and quite delicious! You get a free drink after you sign up on their card system, after 10 or so drinks. The security will get you a cab any time you ask. The staff doesnt know much English so practice your Thai. They have such a good heart and try to make your stay wonderful. I want to thank them all for giving me 12 wonderful days. If you want to stay longer, like a month to a year you can ask and see if they have any furnished appartments for rent. They only had one open when I asked. Its a great place and you will enjoy it. If i had anything negative to say it would be their lack of English. There were only 2 ladies in management that spoke english. I gave them a few pointers on upgrading there cab le tv and get atleast one english channel. The doors on the rooms need closing devices so they dont bang when people leave them open. But other than that for me it was one of the best hotels i have stayed in while in Bangkok. The price, location, staff and ambiance cannot be beat! Kapun kap!

The Shade House is pretty new and most importantly it's super clean. The room I got is of a reasonable size. Overall the hotel is pretty basic. There is a little cafe downstairs but i didn't try. Location wise it's quite a distance from the nearest BTS station. Not much to see or do around the hotel. However there are plenty of taxis along the main road. Value for money you certainly get at the Bangkok Rama. The receptionists were always willing to tell you about the local buses which connected up with the BTS rail service which saves you time and money when getting into the CBD. Receptionists were able to answer any question and help out. Very, very friendly and I would not hesitate to go back again. The hotel section is a lot cheaper than the cottages and the rooms really great. I stayed in a cottage but next time I will stay in the hotel. Something like Aussie $18.00 a night. How do they do it!! Great Thai massages at the hotel.
