Entering the lobby of the Sofitel Dalat Palace Hotel is akin to stepping back in time. The rich, dark wood paneling, plush furnishings, and immediate scurry and attention to guests harken to the Victorian era in a far flung tropical colony. The artistry and beauty of the white rose flower arrangement that dominated the main hall was breathtaking. It was complemented throughout the main floor by equally stunning arrangements of white and red roses in the adjacent hallways that led to the fabulous restaurant, intimate workout facility, and second floor full-service spa. A two hour full massage treatment was ordered up by one of my traveling companions during our stay that she claimed was the best $75 dollars she had ever spent. If you are looking for a serene and romantic setting in Vietnam K highly recommend the Sofitel Dalat Palace.

I think the du Parc is great....maybe better than Dalat itself, which is a motorbike capital of the Central Highlands. Yes, the old is a vestige of the French colonial world, but it's very nice, and the prices are great, and the breakfast is a spread. All very good and nice. Dalat itself left me a touch cold. Just such heavy traffic, and I was on a bicycle to get around. Bao Dai's summer palace is great, as is the old railway station, and both are close to the du Parc, which is front and center in Dalat.

I'll recommend for friends and choose this hotel for next trip to Dalat. Romance and fantastic decoration hotel. Great and helpfull staff. 150m around 7 minutes walking to Dalat Market where you can find food, shopping and coffee shops. Breakfast is good with quite wide range of food (compare with other 3 stars hotels in Vietnam). You should try Chicken rice soup & soy milk from 8-10 PM. I love lady who served our late dinner at restaurant. She's sweat, friendly as my mom :)) I recommend Bich Cau Garden coffee shop which is near Dalat Flower Garden (along Ho Xuan Huong lake). The rate there is reasonable with wide choice. They serve breakfast and lunch also. If you like BBQ, should try BBQ at 33 Hai Ba Trung (just ask taxi driver). Good rate, good food.

I have to say Tulip Hotel 3 is one of the best hotels I have stayed in Dalat except those 5-stars ones. This is a brand new hotel which located at the center of Dalat on Ba Thang Hai street, one of the main streets of Hoa Binh area where you can walk just about 5 mins to Dalat night market. The staffs were very friendly and helpful especially one middle-age woman who was very very kind as we arrived at 3:30 in the morning and she offered us a basement room for changing our clothes and resting. The room was very clean and nice as we stayed in a twin double-bed. Towels are provided and the shower was really nice with high pressure and hot water. The room also has a lovely backyard whose walls looked very vintage and was a good place for some photoshooting too. However, the wall is not very well proofed so we woke up many times as people walked in their room and we felt like they walked in ours. Furthermore, the elevator is just next to our room so it was very noisy.

We stayed at the hotel for 3D/2N. Even though the room rate was cheap but the room was lovely! Through agoda, we requested for baby cot and it was ready during our check-in. The hotel is quite well located too. Not too far from city center and near to Bao Dai's place & Crazy House. All the staff always smiling and eager to assist. The breakfast was pretty good too. The croissants were really good. We had dinner at the hotel too, the portion was generous and the taste can be better. In overall, we do recommend this hotel to others.

Me and my boyfriend adores our stay here. The room quality is excellent, of 4-star international hotel quality with a 2(3)-star price. Swimming pool area is stuffy and a bit creepy if you go down there alone, but if you have someone else it's really nice. Breakfast buffet isn't very professional as good choices run out quickly and the staff doesnt refill them until awhile after (preferably when you get frustrated and leave or finish eating). Cleaning staff comes really early, disrupting our sleep as they ring the bell 2 times without really paying attention if anyone inside told them not to come in, and so very naturally barged in. Well, but that's all the bad thing about this place. Service and staffs are extremely helpful, they would even run errands for you for a small service fee, but only if they can find what you asked them to. 10' walk to the market but is quiet at night, very relaxing. Loved it.

Pros: Room Huge, comfortable, clean bed. Huge bathroom with a rainfall shower with constant hot water. Huge balcony with an unbelievable view. Fridge was brand new. WiFi was perfect. The cleaning staff are great. Location So close to everything. There's an amazing cafe across the street. A burger restaurant 2 doors down (Oz burgers) that has cheap and great quality Western food and cheap beers. Cons: (not many) The electronic door lock is loud and the sound of other people's locks is loud enough to wake you. The elevator is a little slow. That's it... The hotel is great. Try get a room on the 6th floor. The room was little overpriced but still worth the money all things considered I suppose. We stayed in 602 and from what I can tell it was the best room in the place.

just great, this is the third time I stay at this hotel, as usual the staff is friendly (I receive a free breakfast), their English could be better but we are in Vietnam..it is already a performance to find someone who can speak English. Room very still very big and very clean. Since they renovate the building, it looks much more impressive. Wifi was much faster than before, apparently they renew all their Internet installation which is great thing for budget hotel. So I definitely recommend this hotel for solo traveler of for family, you will not regret it ! Thanks, Bao form Brussels, Belgium

This has to be the best bargain in Dalat,anywhere in the world this hotel would be classified as a 4 star hotel the only drawback is no swimming pool but as Dalat is a much cooler climate it's pie in the sky wishing anyway.The staff were enthusiastic and actually looked like thay enjoyed what they do with smiles all round and nothing a problemThe room quality was excellent and the buffet was brilliant.probably the best value hotel in Vietnam.

I love the place. It's very clean throughout with great customer service. I was skeptical when booking this hotel online, because it was only rated 2.5 Stars but the reviews averaged 8.8, I was a bit concerned! As a frequent traveler staying at 3, 4, and 5-Star hotels all over the world, I would give this hotel a maximum rating of 10 because it's super clean, very cozy bed, great receptionist, and a wonderful lady owner that is responsive to customer's comments and recommendations. If there's any negative to report, it doesn't have AC but who needs AC in cool highland Dalat anyway.

The stay was good.The room was good.The location is a walk from the markets, shops and restaurants. If you go to Google earth this place is right near Crazy House and Summer Palace well worth the visit. You are right away from all the street noises.There is no pool there but being Dalat the temperature changes quickly from hot to cold. I can't comment on the restaurant as I never had dinner there.Breakfast was good. I had a good stay here.

The hotel is slightly off the beaten track allowing for a quiet and peaceful stay yet within walking distance to many attractions. The staff are extremely helpful and have tried their hardest to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We met many locals who were extremely friendly and offered us many local food and drinks, so much I ended up pretty drunk. The rooms are even higher quality than more expensive local hotels so the value for money is unbeatable. I have stopped in several places in Da Lat from budget to high end and this was as cheap as the budget hostels and higher quality than the high end hotels. I cannot recommend highly enough we have already decided to stop another night on our way back through Da Lat

I booked a VIP room and really satisfied with all facilities here, bedroom, bathroom, classic closet, cupboard, except the mat with horrible smell, like someone pissed on that. Staff is nice and 1 of the 2 receptionists is super cute, she smiled all the time. Price is reasonable, VIP room is just like the screen-shots, I came at 7 AM and requested an early-booking but the extra fee just cost 120k VND. Motorbikes for hire belong to the hotel, pretty handy. Just 1 complaint is there's no breakfast option when booking since the hotel has no kitchen, luckily there're a few roadside restaurants and Lien Hoa bakery nearby.

Great Stay, i will pick Ngoc Phat Dalat Hotel again. Breakfast was pretty alright, with different varieties each day. If you able to walk to Dalat Centre, that's be like 10 mins of walk, or you can just take the Taxi, but be cautious of the fake taxi there. It's would be better if you have a local with you. There many things to do in Dalat so plan like at least 3 days. You can go to Langbiang, Valley of Love, Bao Dai Palace, Dalat Night Market, etc or simply rent bicycle whole day & cycle around the city to explore the area. For shopping in The night market, always bargain, if not happy with the price, just walk away, they will call you back & give you lower or better price.

Pros: The hotel is clean and well decorated. Staffs are friendly and attentive. The first night when I arrived Dalat, it was raining and cold. I was craving for a hot drink but there was only instant coffee available in the room. So I asked the reception for a hot cup of soya milk. They brought me my drink within a few minutes, and it was free of charge. Such a nice gesture. Cons: The hotel is not far away from Night Market and Xuan Huong lake, but location is little bit off street. Well hey, if you do not mind, I think there is no problem with taking a taxi. And FYI, Standard Room is on the lower floor. It would be nicer if they provide guest a pair of slippers because the floor is cold. Even though the room was a bit cold, they provided a very comfy bed and super warm blanket and also a mosquito net for extra protection at night. P.s. I’d definitely book this hotel again if I come back to Dalat, but perhaps I’d prefer a Superior Room on the higher floor with a balcony.

We booked 3 rooms with windows views but the hotel were not able to put us all on the same floor. Nevertheless, we had a pleasant stay. The view from the window is good. But people in Dalat starts their day very early so it can be a little noisy in the morning from the traffic but it didn't bother us as we think it part of the charms of Dalat. There's no restaurant in the hotel but getting food isn't a problem as there are many good eateries around the hotel. The staff were helpful and welcoming. Communication wasn't a problem.

This place was good, clean, and cozy. No air conditioning in our room but given the outside highs(23-24 Celcius) the fan was sufficient. Elevator for if a guys got heavy bags. Scooter rentals were available for pretty cheap , though we were able to walk to most places we desired to go . The room was clean. At this point we still only knew how to say "hello, goodbye, and thank you," so you will need Google translate to communicate w/staff if you're ill prepared like us. Not getting free meals for advertising, but there is a fantastic restaurant by the sinh tourist station close by (address: 26 Bui Thi Xuan , Da Lat) . The morning pho and shrimp fried rice were staples on our stay. Bed was made / bathroom tidied daily. All in all , great place for the value.

Our family spent 2 nights at this hotel. We were 4 adults and a 2-year old daughter. I booked 1 deluxe room with double bed and 1 deluxe room with twin bed. But this hotel provided us both 2 rooms with single bed. The bed was 1.4 x 2 m So It was rather small for 2 adult. Regarding anything else, It was good and valued for your money. And pleases note that this hotel does not have car park with roof. When I checked out, I paid the extra fee for mini bar uses. I gave the recipient the 50,000 VND bill. And she supposed to give me the 10,000 VND change. But she did not. She said that she had not have the 10,000 VND bill. So she deny to give me the change. It was a small fee. But I was not comfortable with her answer. Next time I would not stay at this hotel.

the hotel is right by xuan huong lake and a short walk over the bridge brings you to the market and places to eat. it is also within walking distance of "crazy house " and bao dai's summer palace. we stayed in a superior room, which was spacious and comfortable. however it was at the front of the hotel overlooking a road and was very noisy early in the morning when people were going to work!

Our stay was absolutely great! The hotel staff was ready to help with everything since the moment we arrived, including recommendations as to where to eat, and explaining where the main sights are. We learnt about the secret tour and booked it and it was so much worth it! Beware that it is not organized every day but 2-3 times a week so it is worth spending a few days - there are options for other trips and activities. I am sure this was the best organized tour I ever did, thanks to Rot who has been really funny but also the dynamics of our group was excellent. The room was neat, spacious and sunny, with a balcony and a great view of Dalat. I know some people complained that their rooms were cold at night but it was not our case: probably as our room was facing the south there was enough sun during the whole day and thus did not cool down so much at night - so try to get a room facing the gardento be on a safe side. The breakfast was weak but that is something we were prepared for as we read previous reviews. Anyway, it's good enough for getting stg into your stomach in the morning, but there are plenty of places where you can eat nearby, including a bakery next door. All in all, we had wonderful time. If I ever come back, I would definitely chose Pink House villa again.

i arrived dalat late in the afternoon after almost 10hours of bis travel fromsaigon.when i rwached the hotel i immediately noticed that it was located with a greay view of the ale just opppsite where it was located.it has a old european style and decoration, i was at the 1st level of the hotel(only two floors), the room was bigand spacious with an old asian european style and decortion,it was clean,bathroom was big and clean, with a separte shower room.the only thing that i believed they need to impirove was the hotel aintenance,when i used the flush was not working properly and 2 ligth were busted,i reporeted to the receptionist and they immediately fixed the problem. if you want to make up theroom mke sure you will do it before 12noon because make-up services was not 24hiurs.i believed that water heater must be available at the rooms,since the cold weather of dalat mkes you have a hot coffe and noodles,but they werefriendlu to givee me hot wqter evertime i asked them.during my check out the receptionist named hoańg anh was very helpful, because i was short of vnd for my travel back to saigon but he gave me an extra vnd tellonh me iys okei necause i have no tome to go to the ank sinve iys early morning.he was reallu awesome, and sure i will be back in this hotel.

Dreams Hotel is excellent value: the bed was comfortable like a 5-star hotel’s, great hot water and good pressure, clean and well-appointed. Our room was streetside but the windows were very good at blocking street noise. The breakfasts were the best we had in Vietnam, an incredible spread of choices, and there’s a jacuzzi on the top floor available to guests in the late afternoon. Best of all was the lovely woman who manages/owns the hotel — when we checked in on Jan. 2nd I showed her a photo of a Vietnamese dish I’d found online that is made with black-eyed peas. It’s one of my family’s traditions to eat black-eyed peas in the new year, for good luck, and I was hoping to find the dish somewhere. The manager (Yum? Dung?) looked in her regular shop for it but no luck. She sent someone to the market to find it — no luck. Finally she called her sister, who somehow located it and got it to us at Dreams.... all unknown to me until I asked! And she wouldn’t accept any money. ❤️

My fiance and I stayed at Pho Nui hotel for 1 night. When we arrived in Dalat, it was still early for check in, so we left our luggages with the receptionists and took a walk around the area. The hotel was very close to DaLat market and Xuan Huong lake, where we could find many local restaurants and coffee shops. We got a room on the 5th floor of Pho Nui hotel. Overall, the room was clean and had all the basic amenities such as hair dryer, toothbrush, shampoo, shower gel, hot/cold water.... What we liked the most about this hotel was the receptionists and bell men. They were very friendly, polite and helpful. They helped us carry the luggage to our room and offered us cheap local tours. We did book a city tour with the hotel for $150,000vnd/person. The tour was guided by a local tour guy, not by hotel staffs. The tour started from 8:30-4 everyday. They took us to several famous places around the city such as Dinh Bao Dai, Nha tho Con Ga, Thien Vien Truc Lam, Thung Lung Tinh Yeu, Datanla fall. Overall the tour was decent, not good but worth the money since it would cost us more than $150,000vnd to go on taxi to visit those places on our own.

This hotel has just openned recently in middle of 2017. Everything is new and clean. It locates perfectly in center of Da Lat city. I often spent only 15,000 to 20,000vnd (under 1 usd) for travelling from hotel to nearby famous restaurants or sightseeing (such as Ho Xuan Huong or Da Lat Flower Park...) Hotel's owner and staffs were also kind and familiar. I think this hotel is good, cheap and comfortable enough for every person or family.
