I cannot speak highly enough about the service I experienced in the hotel! Believe it or not I very rarely write reviews but felt obligated to in this case! From the moment I walked in everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I stayed for 4 days and can honestly say this hotel is well on its way to at least 4 stars! I rarely write reviews but all of the staff are committed to doing their absolute best from the front desk to the spa staff and my sweet cleaning lady. The hotel is still under construction which was a bit of a bummer, but despite this the actual facilities are very relaxing and well designed. The view on the roof is spectacular especially at night. Despite all the pros of this hotel I do have some areas of constructive feedback in the interest of helping to make it the best it can be: please put a fan or air con in the gym!! It’s a smaller space (still sufficient) but it gets very hot in there! Also, please add hooks to the bathroom in the lobby!

A&em Art hotel exceeded my expectations. To me it”s room, bed, pillow quality & staffs are on par with Hilton. The location of the hotel is very convenient situated walking distance from ben Thanh market. Front desk receptionist Ms Bich Phuong & bellboy Mr Tan are very friendly & helpful. I stayed here, moved out to District 1 Japanese street middle of my trip then moved back again to this hotel end of my trip. There is welcome drinks & nice breakfast.

got the top floor which is nice and comfortable.has weird stink but once a/c is on it's bearable.bathroom has jacuzzi which is surprising for this kinda hotel.be careful of hot water from shower heard, comes in spurts where its too hot so need to figure out the knobs for a while. staff is courteous. can hear the traffic but its muted at the top floor.close to massage parlors(with ladies calling out for you to have massage) down the street filled japanese themed restaurants as this street is sort of like little tokyo i guess. what is impressive wifi is free and it's 50Mbps at least up and down. no gym though but this is defintiely a value of rmoney hotel.in summary 3star hotel with 4 star bedroom(on the 8th floor) and 5 star bathroom(with jacuzzi) . it was the priciest room but hey you get big windows to look out and doesn't feel claustrophobic.

My husband and I stayed at this property for 5 nights for his birthday . I would like to admit that by far this has been my best hospitality experience. I love to travel and have been to some luxury five star chains but hotel nikko experience is unparallel. We stayed at the 23 floor in the king club room . The room is spacious and the decor is modern and chic. They provide a turndown service and the housekeeping staff is well trained to add small touches when they clean the room( for example keeping shoes in one line) , it feels home when you come back to room after sightseeing. The breakfast is ellaborate and what is more interesting is that they change few dishes ( including the local ones) on a frequent basis so if you stay like us for more than a night, it will be a sigh of relief for your taste buds to try something new. Staff are well trained and willing to assist. Our best experience was with nikko club lounge( situated on 23 floor) where the views over the city are spectacular and the staff is extremely courteous and efficient including all the trainees who made us feel very special. I would recommend to book a room that has a lounge access , every extra dime you will pay is totally worth it. The staff in the nikko club lounge are so well trained and know how to deliver the first class standard of service. They also helped me arranging a cake for my husband and help me arrange a surprise for him. The hotel is truly a gem in district 1 of ho chi minh! It is slightly away from the touristic madness of city but if you fancy something wild the backpacker's street ( bui vien) is walking distance from the hotel. The other landmarks( cathedral, post office etc) are also not too far and you can order a grab for quite cheap rate. After spending at Six sense NINA Van Bay,here is EXCELLENT,compared with SSNVB, 1000 times better !THIS is 5 STAR HOTEL! Definitely staying at here makes my whole trip in Vietnam happily,good ending! Seems staff never say NO,they are super well training,great service! Especially house keeping is outstanding! They are very thoughtful ,they know how to make the guests comfortable and happy! Of course cleanup the room perfectly! I had quick breakfast,both the range of foods and taste are great,but milk pancakes are not good. The best bang mi in Saigon (I tried two best know one but here is better than those two! As information,SSNVB ‘s one is awful!)

Thank you for the services during our stay which make us feel exceptionally welcomed. The design of the hotel is impeccable, fell in love when I first entered. Every room comes with ensuite jacuzzi which is brilliant, we soaked in it every night after a long day out. The hotel is very generous, also provided lemongrass salt and bubbles for the jacuzzi. We also received a bottle of complimentary wine, cake, daily afternoon tea, and were told to help ourselves for the minibar. The complimentary afternoon tea was not shabby at all, every piece was a delight. Despite the renovation noise outside which is not within the hotel's control, chilling out by the pool is pretty awesome. I'd recommend perhaps chill out on a Sunday when the workers are not working. Hotel is situated is a not-so-busy street, however we could still hear loud music. Could guess that the sound-proof is not that strong, but the noise is bearable, might be we were too tired to be bothered. Lastly, I sincerely hope that the hotel could keep up or even be better in years to come. I'd certainly visit again.

Reviewers should not expect Saigon five star hotels to mirror what is considered five star in Hong Kong. The Hyatt is probably the only hotel in superior to this hotel but then expect to pay three time the price. In light of the above, we have some very positive comments on this hotel. The breakfast was very busy and even better the efficiency of the staff meant , never needed to queue. The service was very good, the poached eggs were as good as anywhere else in the world. They had good range of Asian and European dishes. It is not often you get roasted pork/ham for breakfast We stayed in two rooms for three nights. The hotel is very safe, very clean and the staff are courteous, all of whom could understand our English. The beds were comfortable (bedding arrangement). Room service was quick (15-20 min), and unlike other reviewers, the pho arrived hot. You could not find a more central location as it boarders the intersection of the Saigon CBD's two main streets. Some more general comments for prospective visitors: the pool water in Saigon is fairly cold at this time of the year It;s cheaper to taxi to the airport (USD$6) but you must prepare 40 minutes travelling time due to large number of motorcycles.

i really enjoyed staying at the rex. the location is truly perfect - my room overlooked the ho chi minh statue, 5 minutes walk from the refinery, 5 minutes from ben thanh market and saigon square, 10 minutes to apocalypse now, 10 minutes to notre dame, 10 minutes to the river, 20 minutes to bui vien/pham ngu lao... the room was super clean, modern, but with a vietnamese character. noise wasn't an issue. breakfast was great and service was efficient, friendly and helpful. free, fast, open wifi everywhere around the hotel (which is huge). the rooftop bar is a nice place to relax in the evening and the live bands were good, although obviously aimed their music at a certain age group. the swimming pool was well maintained but nothing special, just a standard rooftop pool. the gym was good, many (affluent) locals actually have membership there although i never saw more than 3 people in at one time. i've stayed at park hyatt before a couple of times but enjoyed my stay at rex much more - it's brilliant, and great value. i highly recommend it. by the way i stayed at a premium room which i think means new wing.

I loved this hotel, I used the pool and the gym and the breakfast, well, it was the stand-out. The food is replenished and is of highest of quality and the seats are comfortable. Rooms and linen are all pretty much pristine and brand new, air cond perfect. Found the best sushi restaurant called sushi-sushi around the corner in an alleyway. Recommend you eat there is you're into good, cheap Japanese, much better than the retail places fronting the main streets. I fully recommend this hotel and forgot to mention getting round in taxi was easy b/c the concierge speaks English and could tell the taxi drivers where we wanted to go (like take a one hour drive around Saigon).

First impression is very important in my option especially a 5 Stars establishment like yours! This is what I had found in Lotte Legend Hotel Saigon when I’d entered in their front door step Monday 2nd July, 2018. 1 . Staff at door entry greeted us and made us very welcome. 2. Then we were greeted by Ms Mia ( Guest Relation Officer) she was really wonderful and friendly settling us in and made us feel really welcome and she had organised a day trip tour to Chu Chi tunnels at a fraction of a cost the very next day. She is a great value. The whole few days stay experience was just perfect and every staff members there were all very friendly and helpful!! Thank you 3. Executive Lounge Restaurant was fantastic with great service staff and great window view of Saigon River. 4. Pool and Gym facilities was fantastic! Very clean and maintained. 5 Very close proximity to locals and shops/ entertainments . Thank you Mia for patience and your Great Service to my Family during our stay there. I booked three nights here, last week. Upon arrival, I was given a room upgrade! Everything about this hotel makes this a worthy consideration. The room has everything you need. The property itself is quite nice. The breakfast buffet is considerable. The rooftop pool and bar/restaurant is a great touch. It's a ten-minute walk to Bui Vien Street and about a 30-40 minute walk to Bitexco Building. So it's very centrally located. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. You can't go wrong staying here.

The room is big and clean. The beds are comfy enough and there's plenty of space in the bathroom. Breakfast was nice with a variety of dishes (both western and eastern). They have a fresh eggs station and you can soup noodles too which are made on the spot. Staff are friendly and very helpful. They speak plenty English. We had a little problem with payment but it was our fault because we thought we had already paid for something we hadn't. They did their best explaining what had happened. It's in district 1 of Saigon, though perhaps a bit far from the backpacker street. There are plenty of eats around nevertheless. We liked staying here.

Several plus points come to mind - first, the location: right in the heart of Dong Khoi street which is *the* happening place in Ho Chi Minh City - great restaurants and shopping all within a stone's throw from the hotel. Next, the great old world charm of the hotel with all the facilities that you would expect from a good 5-star hotel - swimming pool, restaurant and bar. The room we stayed in was in the old wing but had all the facilities of a modern 5-star hotel room. The room overlooked the street but there was absolutely no noise filtering through despite the heavy Christmas eve traffic. The bathroom was also very clean with everything working perfectly. We had no problem with the air conditioning either. I also highly recommend the hotel's tour desk whose staff were able to organize a 'city tour' and a 'Cu Chi Tunnel' tour for us at short notice. Lastly, the price - about 20-30% cheaper than other equivalent hotels.

There isnt many things to do in Saigon but at least all of them are next to this hotel: market, night market and food area, Reunification Palace (do not visit it...), War Remains museum and Backpakers area (Bui Vien Street). Rooms were ok (we stayed in the Luxury room) but pillows... Breakfast was above average of other hotels we stayed during the trip. Tour trips are just about 2 dollars over the price you can get in the street and they have 1h foot massage for usd tip included. Wifi everywhere in the hotel.

Location is fantastic. At the edge of Bui Vien Street, close enough to the center so you'll feel safe walking to the minimart at 1AM, yet far enough from the center that you can sleep without the thump of dance floor bothering you. However, it is on the other edge of Bui Vien street, the one away from the center of HCMC, so prepare to walk everyday the whole length of Bui Vien to get to the city center if you don't plan on using Uber. Other than that, the breakfast was fantastic; with a wide variety differing a bit everyday. Shower room was without any problems (a rare feat for even medium priced hotels in these countries) And nice, clean rooms. I would unquestionably select this hotel again for the next visit. Tips: The view from rooftop bar is very nice, and worth a visit. Though it is hotel-lounge priced...

You can't beat the location, and you can walk to most things in District 1. This is a true four star hotel (not all hotels which advertise themselves are such compared to international standards). Make sure you book a city view room. If you do then will get get a fantastic panorama of the city skyline, which is magical both day and night. Another must is the roof top terrace on the 14th floor, (the pool is also up here), where you can drink in the views, day or night. The beds are really comfortable and the room I stayed in , had a lovely new bathroom. Breakfasts were great, too. I have been to HCMC many times and have stayed in many Hotels, there. Bt when it comes to the combination of factors such as budget, quality of rooms (mine was a large city view on a higher floor), ease of walking access to most of the local sights and value for money, then you can't beat here.

20- minute taxi ride from Tan Son Nhat International Airport to hotel which is located just next to Ben Thanh Market. It costs about 130-150 000 VND. The hotel serves a good spread of options for breakfast. For muslim friends, there are a few halah restaurants just out of the hotel's backdoor (next to hotel's restaurant) For lunch options, there are plenty of choices out of the hotel. There are money changers near to the hotel. Most of the shopping malls (Saigon Centre, Saigon Square, Union Square Shopping Mall, and the popular Vincom Centre Shopping Mall, esp among the locals) are walking distance from the hotel. It takes about 25-minute leisure walk to Notre Dame Cathedral and the old post office. The area is very popular among tourists. The hotel is located in District 1 where most of the cafes and tourist places are densely located. Most the time are spent on foot to explore the absorb the sights and scenes of the HCMC, including Bui Vien street (buslting street filled with foreigners, esp at night for drinks) and Dong Khoi street etc. The hotel room is clean and the service staff are very helpful. Highly recommend to travellers who just need a clean/nice room to stay and a hotel with great convenient location. Will definitely consider to book the same hotel if we ever travel to HCMC again.

My wife and I decided to have a night "away" and checked into a Palace Signature Suite of the Palace Hotel Saigon. The room was a corner unit split into a living room and a bedroom. It had a small corner balcony and view of Nguyen Hue street, the Bitexco tower and a sliver of the Saigon River. A highlight of the room was the bathroom, that stretched the length of the living room and bedroom and included a small jacuzzi - something not found in other suites in this price range - bubble soap and view onto Nguyen Hue street through tinted windows included. Staff was extremely friendly. For example, they brought us two wine glasses within 2 minutes of our request. They even thought so far ahead and included a bottle opener despite not asking for one. We slept through breakfast, so I can't comment on the quality of the food, but breakfast was included. However, given its great location, there are many options - expensive and local - to get some food or simply a coffee. The best part was the price. We were able to get the Suite for about USD 112 (non-refundable) on Agoda, which was on par with standard rooms at the other 4-star+ hotels in the area, and far below the rates for their suites.

We stayed for 4 nights with free spa massage everyday due to hotel's promotion. If you like a quite area and near centre,this is the place. It takes 5mins by taxi or motorbike to Ben Thanh Market,10mins to main shopping malls,10 mins to Bui Vien streets with lots of entertainment. Breakfast is good enough but not Pho-the stock need to be added more flavour. Staff are super friendly with beautiful smile. I wonder how could I become their member? That's mean I want to come back this hotel everytime I travel to Vietnam.

Enjoyed the upgrade from 2BR to 3BR executive apartment. There was ample space for everyone in terms of room size, living area, kitchen and laundry area. As travellors, we enjoyed the handy laundry/dryer combo that completed the laundry while we slept. The residence was very considerate to provide laundry detergent so we didn't have to buy our own. The place also came with a 6pax set of cutlery, crockery and basic cooking set that it inspired us to cook breakfast one morning. It was in every aspect as good as a five star international hotel in terms of comfort, housekeeping, bedding and privacy. The areas it exceeded a 5 star hotel was the size of the fully furnished apartment, the provision of an equipped kitchen (we were able to make pancakes, French toast, roast tomatoes, boil carrots and eggs, poach eggs, and make cinnamon honey tea. The fridge was also stocked with complimentary water, instead of being packed with soft drinks pegged at high prices. Check in was easy and straightforward through Agoda and we didn't need to fuss with deposits and payment upon check out. The location of the place is a tad out of the central shopping and entertainment area but it was not a deal breaker as a 50,000 dong (USD2.5) cab ride would easily get us around. Talking about taxis, there was also a Taxi operator on site to bring cabs into the vicinity so it saved us from walking out of the streets to hail one ourselves. The taxi operator was Mai Linh which is one of two reliable operators in Vietnam. There is a provision shop within the apartments that sells basic necessities and snacks which is handy if you don't want to venture to a supermarket like Big C or Lotteria Mart or the Co-Op mart. Despite my overall positive experience, my friend's experience with their apartment was a little marred as their apartment stunk of stale cigarette smoke. So do ask for a non-smoking unit when you make a reservation.

Our stay was not without issues - had to move rooms twice - uncomfortable mattress and then air conditioning failure, but the staff could not have been more helpful and moved us within moments of raising our concerns. Highlights of the stay were the lovely rooftop pool and delicious complimentary afternoon teas. We also booked three tours through the front desk - to the Cu Chi tunnels and the Cao Dai temple, the Mekong Delta and an evening dinner cruise all of which were memorable, enjoyable and superb value for money. The desk also arranged foot massage for me at a sister hotel, which, again, was excellent value for money. Location is very convenient - just moments to the main market and a street food market, with Union Square a further short walk away. I hope we can return one day in the not too distant future. Perfect location. Walking distance to ben thanh market, street food market, starbucks, bui vien st and other attractions. Breakfast was good. Definitely well worth the value. No gym/pool facilities, but this was fine for us as we spent most of the time exploring the city. PS - There are many bad reviews about the noise - we had rooms from 1st to 4th floor, yes you could hear some of the outside noise but definitely bearable. Highly recommend.

Best Value Hotel in HCMC ive stayed at so far !!! . After checking out reviews i picked this Hotel to stay at for the last 2 days of our holiday as our melbourne flight leaves at 9.00pm we generally book to have a base until early evening so i was looking for a more modestly priced hotel to stay the last nights . This trip we chose to stay in some of Classic Hotels in the 5 star range at HCMC ,HOI An ,Hue. i was expecting a good to mediocre hotel however The Grand Silverland Hotel & Spa is now at the top of my list ticking all the boxes From arrival to departure i was totally impressed The hotel staff and managers are excellent well trained and very helpful , Taking care of things like airport transfers and phoning checking airline reservations recommending shops that actually can supply your needs . The fastest and easiest check in ever ( They actually take you to your room to complete check in which is great for weary travelers ) Room - Silverland Suite was well appointed clean and had a multi function Jacuzzi portal Location is perfect a few steps from the market and all the sights of district 1 Roof top pool and bar small but fantastic Great spa and massage. Great Breakfast Really the best value for money . Five star service at 3.5 star prices Wish we were still there !!

Perfect Hotel. Friendliness hotel staffs I ever encountered so far. Especially front office staff - Jasmine and FO Manager - Mr. Lance. They are willing to spend time and effort finding and recommending dinning spots for us. I can feel the warm and and friendliness of the hotel staffs truly from heart but not like other hotels may be just "pretending". Wide variety of Breakfast menu (order to cook). The only con side is the noise of the music from nearby pubs, as this hotel is located right at the corner of Bui Vien Street (Party street).

This Hotel is centrally located and easy walking distance to the main attractions of the city including, the Palace, War Museum and markets. Its a short stroll to Bui Vien Street for great food and night life. We stayed for a week at the Harmony Saigon and from the moment we stepped into the Hotel until the time we left we were felt welcomed by all the staff. The rooms were spacious and clean. We booked a couple of tours from the Hotel Tour Desk and Rachael at the desk was friendly, informative and more than helpful in booking us into the things we wanted to do. The prices at the desk were comparable to other tour operators in the city. The breakfast and restaurant areas are fantastic with anything that you would want for breakfast from local food to bacon and eggs. Again the staff were extremely friendly. I would like to thank all the staff, Management, Reception and Bell Boys for making our stay fantastic. I Highly recommend this Hotel
