The hotel was in a great location 2 minutes from the metro and RER and an easy walk to sights such as the Arc de Triomphe and lovely Parc Monceau. The hotel itself is fine however the room(s) are less than inspiring for a couples holiday. The wallpaper was dirty/peeling which was even more noticeable because the room was also bare of decor. The walls also felt paper thin which did not give the room a sense of privacy. Our bathroom door had also jusy been painted which we were not made aware of when checking in. We only found out when we got paint on ourselves when using the bathroom. We did not complain about any of this as we paid a really cheap price (£59 per night) and did not feel any other rooms would be different (other than the paint) however it definetely did affect the overall employability of our stay here as a young couple in Paris. I would recommend it only as a short stay for a solo traveller.

This hotel is very well located just a few minutes walk from the big Paris Department Stores Printemps and Galeries Lafayette. It is a few minutes walk to the Paris Opera Garnier, Place Vendome, Place de la Concorde and The Louvre Museum. It is also close to the Metro stations of Madeleine, Opera and the RER station Auber. The decoration of the hotel and rooms are a musical theme, which is fun

paris was lovely in september and we liked this hotel mostly for its location and staff. it is walking distance both to montmartre and the louvre. if you don't mind a 20 minutes stroll with your luggage, you can also walk down the street from gare du nord train station. we were lucky and got room 319. it was some noice from the street outside, but the great thing is that it was a ok sized corner room. it had a small balcony where it was possibel to sit outside and get some sun watching the street life below. the staff was very nice and helpful both during check in and check out. they recommended some good places to eat. but the recommendation of cafe de la paix near the opera building was not the best. the food there was not as good as expected for the price.

this is recently refubrished hotel, so everything is new. the room was very spacious (about 20 m2 which is is outstanding for paris). the hotel is situated in opera district and is in walking distance to all major attractions (20 minutes do sacre coeur, 15 to notre dame, 15 to pl. de la concorde etc., 10 to louvre and 5 to haussman blvd and gallery lafayette) the metro station is just at the frontdoor. the roissy bus stop is also very near this hotel, so it is very easy to get to the airport. the staff is extremely kind and willing to help. i was upgraided to double room on 6th floor with a balcony and view at paris. definetely i would stay there again and recommend it to other visitors.

- Best Hotel is right. But I think the hotel is not 5 star. - Room was very clean as 5 star! - Breakfast was good! - Location was good. Very closed from Liege station. But i visited used from rossisy bus and taxi. - Hotel bed was too soft. if you like soft bed. This hotel is a good choice. If i visit in france. I will use same hotel than hilton hotel. Very convenient location. Just 8 mins walk to galeries Lafayette. We stayed here on recommendation from our friends who came here on honeymoon last year! Loads of cafes and restaurants nearby. Not necessary to have breakfast at the hotel as the nearby Midore bakery is a better deal. From Paris CDG airport, take Roissy bus EUR10 per person to Opera stop and walk to the hotel. We enjoyed our stay particularly because of the convenient location and friendly staff! Good hotel for the price you pay to stay in central Paris!

Really enjoyed this hotel - if in Paris again wouldn't stay anywhere else. Room and bathroom small but comfortable, well serviced every day and pleasant staff. Location was great, just 20 minutes walk to the Louvre, masses of cafes and restaurants nearby, theatres and metro. Didn't have breakfast included in room rate but just over the road a place where you could get coffee and pastries - $6 for 2 people

I was told by front desk that this is just a 3 star hotel and there is no such item in their hotel. 6)Only one bottle of complimentary water for first day 7)Room is very small. There is no luggage rack. We got room 405 & 417. Aircon works in 405, but the aircon is busted in 417. We were told to open heater if cold and open windows if hot for 417. 8)If you like shopping, there is none near the hotel. Champs Elysees area is better as there are hundreds of shops. Champs Elysees shopping district is between Metro George V and Metro Franklin Roosevelt near Arche de Triomphe. Although this hotel is just 2 subway stops from Gallery Lafayette, the walk is dark at night and best to take Metro. Buy the 7 days unlimted NAVIGO Metro card (Euro27.80 only).

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Antin Trinite last week while visiting Paris for our 40th wedding anniversary.I had requested a quiet room when booking and our room on the 5th floor was amazingly quiet. The room was not that big but that did not matter as we were out and about from early morning sightseeing until after evening dinner.The shower/wc was spotless and seemed to have been recently refurbished; toiletries were provided, towels changed daily and bathroom was equipped with a good hair-dryer. There are plenty of cafes and a few bars nearby so we didn't avail of the breakfast at the hotel. Our flight was not until late evening on the day of departure so we were able to leave our luggage at the hotel which meant we had a final day of sightseeing, luggage free. The staff were efficient,polite and helpful also. We'd definitely stay at this hotel again when we visit Paris. The only thing that we would have liked was tea/coffee making facilities in the room.The cost seems a little steep as it was without breakfast but I guess Paris is expensive anyway and being so central made all the difference in terms of getting around and shopping of course; Galleries La Fayette is on the doorstep! This hotel is excellent if you need to do your shopping and a close by public transport. The staffs are super friendly and nice. The elevator, although small but fit its purpose. The rooms are surprisingly not so compact and small as some of the comments here, especially since we had a three-bed room. The bathroom amenities are nice, and the bathroom size is just right. The wardrobe is fine. There's a safe box and a mini bar in the room. The TV has many channels but lacking any english channels except for 1 or 2 news channels, which is irritating because the news kept repeating itself. Need at least one movie or music channel in English. Breakfast is not included, but after a quick going through the breakfast room, it looks like just a normal small spread breakfast. No worries, cafes are aplenty in Paris. Or a close by Starbucks, if you must. The hotel provides you with their own free map that locates where the hotel is and the train lines. Wi-fi reception is free, good and fast. Gare du Nord/Terminus Nord - the train terminal is a 20 minute walk. So if you do not wish to take a cab (which cost €10), or carry your heavy luggage up and down the staircase to the metro train (stops at Metro Station 'Chaussee d'Antin La Fayette' - find H&M and walk slightly further up, about 50m to find the hotel), you have the option to walk. Just go out from Gare du Nord main entrance, walk straight onto Rue de Saint-Quentin or the Bd de Denain, and turn right into Rue La Fayette. Walk straight down the road for 20 mins and you will reach the hotel on your right, just before H&M and LaFayette Mall. There is an Italian Restaurant next door which is nice. Or if you want to try Indian/Pakistani cuisine, we find that New Balal on Rue Taitbout (the small lane opposite the hotel) just around the corner, is much nicer and worth trying, compared to Gandhi Ji restaurant, the one right in front of Excelsior Opera. All in all, this hotel is great

We stayed at the Hotel R de Paris for one week. We like to walk, but appreciated the proximity to multiple Metro stops/lines. Room is small, as apparently all Paris hotel rooms are, but exceedingly comfortable with a small table, chair and stool. Bathroom is smaller -- only one person can use at a time - with a pocket door, but shower was great (water does get on floor), and had good mirrors. Only space for one toiletry kit - have one that hangs if going as a couple. We wanted a "quiet" hotel, and snagged a courtyard room, so were very happy. Lots of smart sound proofing. The staff was extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating. Melanie, Fiona and Francois helped to really make our stay special and memorable (don't remember names of other night staff who were equally helpful). The afternoon tea from 4:00-6:00 pm provided a good snack before a late dinner/picnic. Great patisseries within a block of the hotel, and ate one night at a Brasserie down the street.

I booked two rooms and also request next to each other room but when I was there they gave me one room on third floor and my room on the ground floor. It was was very tiny & not very clean. I ask them why I have got this room even though I requested next to each other they said they don't have any when I said I booked it almost a month ago. The receptionist was very rude very arrogant. the hotel is in a good place but the lift was very very very tiny.

The Carlton was perfect for my travels. It is right across the street from La Cigale and just a very short walk to the Metro and MoulinRouge. The view from the rooftop terrace is amazing! I was nervous when someone on the plane said Montmartre was a seedy neighborhood, but I felt very safe at the Carlton and had no issues with the area. The staff spoke wonderful English and were very helpful.

I travelled to paris with my parents. Booked 2 deluxe rooms. Overall i'd say we had a very nice and enjoyable stay at the hotel. The rooms are clean, the pillows are nice to sleep in, the toilets are super clean, breakfast is okay. The only downside is the size of the room. It's pretty small. U can barely move about. Anyways, this staff who created an impact on our stay was Thamila. She is a very friendly girl who would go all out to make sure u have a pleasant stay. She helped me and my parents look for halal restaurants and even guided us around (giving us directions on the map). Paris has been amazing! Thank u thamila!

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay at this hotel. It is small, clean and friendly. It is old but that adds to the charm. Bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed the location, so near a couple of Metro stations, nearby cafes and restaurants. We did not choose the breakfast option here, there are coffee shops just down the street which worked great for us. We were able to walk to many places. Great for a short stop in Paris.

The staff at check in knew us by name upon our arrival (we haven't even presented agoda voucher/ID yet). She was very friendly and welcoming, explained to us the nearest metro and even checked out how to get to laduree. She took our luggages in as the room was not ready yet and gave us bfast vouchers (when suppposedly breakfast was for the next day). When we were about to leave for sightseeing, she offered us to take bottled water along, what a service! I am impressed! In the evening when we return, there was champagne waiting in our room! And a letter congratulating us since we were on honeymoon. The morning staff when we checked out were also very helpful, helping us to get a taxi and even offered us to have coffee and croissant (when the bar was not yet opened and it was only 6am!), they also have an open bar after bfast until late at 10pm. The only thing i am disappointed is that i should have booked this hotel again upon our return to Paris (already booked another hotel that offered no cancellation! But hopefully it will turn out as excellent as this!)

What a fantastic hotel. After finding ourselves in a nightmare hotel prior to this one, we managed to get a last minute booking at Timhotel. What an absolute pleasure arriving there and having friendly faces greet and help us. We were allowed to leave our luggage behind until check-in time and offered a cup of coffee before we went in search of breakfast. Rooms are super spacious - a luxury in Paris. Very clean rooms, modern and luxurious furnishings, great bathroom, very professional and friendly staff and wonderful little touches. Appreciated the fact that there was a fridge in the room for my insulin and the kettle with complimentary tea and coffee. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel but it looked very substantial and interesting from what we saw. Will definitely be booking there again next time we're in Paris.

Having stayed at Disney the previous three days, we were very surprised at the size of the family rooms. They have only one of these on each floor, and we therefore had to take two on different floors for the six of us (4 adults and 2 kids). The rooms are actually big enough to hold a family of four, but they don't allow this as the king size bed easily accommodates one adult and two small kids, with the other parent using the spare bed. The rooms were very clean and bathrooms immaculate. The hotel is located on a quiet side street 5mins between two different metro lines which makes for convenient access to rest of Paris. Gare du Nord is three stops away, making it a convenient place for Eurostar travellers. Staff were welcoming. They lay out a typical continental breakfast in the lobby which looked good, but there are plenty of cafes in the area. Great value for money.

Pros This hotel definitey deserved its 3 star rating as sheets, towels and coffee/tea are refilled and changed daily. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and had friendly service. Location-wise it was very convenient and close to central in the day but can be shady at night (It is Paris's red light district after all) if you choose to walk along the Boulevard de Clichy/Rue Fromentin but after the first night, we decided to walk along Rue Duperre from the Pigalle Metro station when we got back late at night as that road definitey felt much safer as there were many bars and restaurants open late, and we much rather walk next to bars than strip clubs. 10minutes walk to Sacre Coeur with a beautiful village up the hill with great views. Many supermarkets, bakeries, fast food chains, pharmacies etc nearby. Cons Location can be shady and unsafe depending on which streets you take and how comfortable you are with people staring intently at you.

Metro station, Blanche is only 1 minute away from the hotel. It is quite handy to move. But you have to beware that you may run into robbers on the streets because it is next to a crime zone. The room was so clean and impressive. In addition, one of staff working at night, a tall african french guy, was so kind and helpful. He is the best hotel staff I have ever experienced.

The hotel is in a great location, near two metro stations and the center of major shopping in Paris. There are heaps of restaurants and cafes nearby as well. The rooms are incredibly tiny (best for young or mature couples, not at all for families), but the service was great. We added three more days to the end of our original reservations at this hotel, and for some reason didnt clean the room on our evening before checkout.

Great location, close to multiple metro stations; great restaurants; bakeries for a morning croissant; supermarkets, etc. Rooms are small (typical of most Parisian hotels) but have everything you need and are VERY clean! The staff were extremely helpful and provided us with travel adapter (which we forgot!) - would definitely recommend Villa la Parisienne for a long weekend.

This is best ever accomodation after lots of sleepless night research! Silly me only found out the best way to get here from gare du nord,which I failed to see from website/blogs. We took the complicated way to avoid the notorious chatelet/les halles metro. It was hilariously back breaking pushing /tagging our huge luggage up down steep stairs. Paris station lacks facilities. One thing I learnt- parisian men aren't helpful-no one offered to help with luggage! compared to the English gentlemen! There were alays offering help at every tube stairs! So all of you vacationers, best way to get here is... Take st lazare haussmann from gare du nord! It takes you right there, no stairs to struggle with!Other sites only mentioned auber/opera/havre caumartin. I got room 303 a studio unit, facing pharmacie/C&A/street view. You can also opt for courtyard view which is quieter. But , hey ,it 's gay paree! You live in midst of everything. Location is great, everything is around you. Staffs were marvellous &helpful. Lucille was there most of the time during our stay. But they speak English well, no worries, though I tried to practise my french! Kitchen was well equipped, monoprix is round the corner. We cooked most meals, enjoyed ourselves. It was a gratifying &enjoyable stay for us. Will definitely be back!
