We experienced some of the best Vietnamese accommodations and hospitality during our trip to Sapa. Our plan was to book three different hotels in several different areas around Sapa. First night in Sapa stayed at Pao’s. . . second night at another more rustic hotel. . . third night – Back to Pao’s! Front office manager (Mr. Thang) – went out of his way to make our stay memorable. He was supported by friendly and capable front line staff including Mr. Dat and Mr. Duong. All of the staff could speak English well and couldn’t have done anything more to make our trip there easy and special. During our check-out, Mr. Thang handed us his card and let us know if there was anything he could do. . . to let him know. After one night in a different hotel, we came running back to Pao’s. We were greeted with upgraded room and warm welcome from all the staff – that treated us like returning VIPs. Our stay in Aira was far better than what we expected. They let us check-in early at 8 A.M after we had our local breakfast and main streets observed. The room is beautiful with a stunning view of foggy valley below and gigantic Fansipan up high. We had a Deluxe Balcony facing the mountains. Highly recommended even if you don't smoke like us. (Our trip is in late June, which is the time when it is raining and foggy all day) My most memorable and satisfying memory of Aira was the staff. They were so thoughtful and generous. Can't believe i can meet hotel staff of this level in Sapa. They were honestly better than lots of 5-star-hotel i've stayed at I didn't like the pool. The placement is not comfortable for me. The road to the hotel is indeed terrible. Not that anyone can do anything about. P.s: if we'd ever come back to Sapa again, Aira would mostly be the reason why.

I have been travelling in CLMV for work and holiday extensively during last 6 years. So I stay so many hotels. Silk Path is one of the best hotel that I have ever been compared with value for your money. Plus: - Hotel is well maintained. Clean room and smell very nice (rose smell) every where - Decoration is super beautiful like you are in Europe - Mountain view from dinning room is breathtaking. - Room is very nice even with the cheapest one. Come with bath tub and mountain view as well - Shuttle car to downtown every hour - Facilities is very good. Hot water pool, pool table, many place to seat and hang out - Breakfast have good varieties. Vietnamese iced coffee and Baguette are amazing combination to start your day Con - Location is around 5-10 mins from city center which consider far in Sapa, but manageable with shuttle car - Quality and freshness of breakfast can be improved All in all, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who looking a great vacation in Sapa.

We have arrived the hotel early - and very lucky they have set up room ready for us to check in. We choose Sapa to celebrate my birthday for 2nights, They gave us the WOW and surprise for upgrading room to Executive with Mountain View with complementary a bottle of Wine and welcome fruits. Hotel is located in the center of Sapa , easy to find and walk around the town. In everyday, they served us the Watermelon juice and 2 pieces of cake or fruits to fresh you up during the day. Breakfast is delicious with some a la cart menu to order. Staff is very friendly and helpful especially David. He is very nice and offer the best service to every clients. He knew that we took the bus back to Hanoi, so he made sandwiches for us to eat during the travelling which we never expected about this. But he was thinking and caring about us. We are very appreciated and we can say that "This is the best hotel with the best service i ever had" you can feel special and this is more than 5 Stars hotel!

The room is clean, spacious and has a gorgeous view of the mountains! The location is great, it is near restaurants, shops and bars (just one street after Cau May). The service is fantastic, from the receptionists to the bellboys and restaurant staffs. We stayed there for a week. Receptionist Ha upgraded us to the family suite. We will definitely stay there again if we ever come back to Sa Pa.

The room is nice and clean. I think their room decor is way better than a few 4 stars ranking hotels in Hong Kong. Location is in the central surrounded by a lot of restaurants closed by. For foreign taste, walk a few more minutes to Cau May st where you can find more choices for Western or fusion food. Breakfast are buffet with adequate amount of choices for food. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended! We will come back!

My family (two young toddlers and my wife) and I spent two nights at Amazing Hotel in Sapa on 21st and 22nd of Sept 2018. I can only warmly recommend this hotel. Hotel is super clean (it is a 4 stars), good facilities (they have a swimming pool on the roof-top with an amazing view over the mountain), staff are friendly and helpful, breakfast is good, location is very central (near Sapa square) etc... Excellent hotel from my point of view!

Clean room, good breakfast and friendly staff especially Ms Hoang Thi Bich Ngoc...she can speak quite good English and very helpful. When we reached in the early morning still not able to check in, she offer us a room to shower. I had trouble her many times on booking of taxi and also our motorbike broke down on the way to Ta Van village, she tried her best to help whatever she can. Over-all great service!!! If I travel Sapa will stay here again!

This hotel is super clean, and location is on top of the hill , can overlook the city of Sapa. All staffs are helpful and friendly. Especially Customer Service Miss Anna, She is a very friendly and sincere in her duty. We had our dinner there as well. The staff make our self at home and relax. We all end our dinner at long hours. Staffs still with all smiling face. Really best service. Hotel also offer us to store our luggage before we had our climb to Mount Fansipan, Ms Anna also offer us a room to fresher up after our return, but we did not take it as we had another hotel to check in under the tour package. The amenities in the hotel also rated as 5 stars.

Booked a Deluxe Double Room and thoroughly enjoyed having a balcony overlooking the beautiful Hoang Lien Son mountain ranges. The room itself is very spacious, but the shower pressure and temperature can definitely be improved as it would change depending if other travellers were taking a shower at the same time. This hotel felt a lot like home, where the owners would often chat with me at breakfast to ask if I'd slept well or what my plans were for the day. When I returned after my activities, they'd often bring up dessert to my room too! Breakfast is ordered from a set menu (2 food items and 2 drinks per person), but is more than sufficient to get you going. On Sundays it seemed like it's served buffet style. In terms of location, this hotel is about 3 mins to the main tourist drag of Cau May Street, but don't bother because IMO the best restaurants in Sapa are just right across the hotel (24 Restaurant) and down Fanxipan street (Good Morning Vietnam). By Sapa standards, the food was top quality and prices were reasonable.

The pick up at Laocai train station punctual. The driver drive the car very good to reach Sapa centre Hotel so my daughter can sleep well in the car. Arrived Hotel morning at 7.30 and no rooms available yet. But the staff do their best to offer usearly check in before 12 after some one checked out. And the rest of the stay was excellent, the transportation provided, location at center of the town. Walking distance to old market and shops

Pros: Apparently there is only one staff who can speak English and she is the receptionist there. She is amazing and very helpful. She would tell you how much the taxi cost you and avoid being scammed. Also, you can ask her about sapa/tour packages/transport and she will be happy to answer all your doubts. I am very picky when it comes to booking myself a hotel because my trip would probably be ruined if the services is poor. Thankfully, this hotel is beyond great and will definitely recommend it to my friends. Breakfast: Awesomeee!!it's included in your accommodation fees. You get to choose your breakfast from the menu given. The food was soooo good. Room: They are clean and comfortable. Our room was upgraded from standard room to a big size room which accommodate people of 4 (1 king size bed and 2 single bed) and comes with a balcony. This happened due to out of standard rooms. We were super satisfied. Cons: I don't think they take emails seriously.

Located at a short walk away from the city centre, lies a clean and cosy Sapa Dragon Hotel. The service was great, and all the staff were earnest in providing us with the best service and assisting us with any issues we may have. Special mention and thanks to Ainh, who consistently went out of his way to help my friends and I with everything. We stayed @ the 3 person room, which was clean and pleasant. The management of the hotel was very understanding and went out of their way to assist us. Due to our irregular train timings into Sapa, we reached Sapa much earlier than the checkin time. We had requested for an early checkin prior, but was not promised anything. However, because the occupancy of the hotel was not too high, they allowed us to have an early checkin free of charge (usually their policy states that customers are to pay for 2 nights worth of stay if they request for early checkin) upon arrival. I am very thankful that the management was flexible about this, managing this in a very non-stingy and helpful way. We are very thankful for the effort put into this arrangement and how we were handled very professionally :) The only downside I can mention is the fact that Sapa Dragon Hotel does not have a very good view. This consideration, keeping in mind that many other hotels in Sapa leverage on their good views as the selling point. However, this definitely should not be an issue in contrast to what a great experience this hotel can provide. (good views are just a short hike away heh) Stayed April 2017, travelled with friends

We were actually glad that we ended up staying at the Sunny Mountain. We usually find a new, lower star hotel beats a 5 star hotel in less travelled destinations. We were upgraded to the suite The suite is very spacious, comfortable and in excellent conditions. Room has excellent view; hotel is in the town center for easy access to shops and restaurants. Nice and friendly staff. Seemed understaffed or not as well prepared for when the hotel is at full capacity. I wasn't able to get much of their attention for travel info.

Our family of 4 booked 2 connecting rooms on Christmas Day. But due to the power breakdown of Fansipan cable car, we decided to stay 2 nights, so that we can come again the next day. Luckily the rooms are available. The hotel reception & their staffs greeted us, friendly and provided taxi arrangements and also cable car tickets purchased. On one occasion, due to missed communication, the taxi driver supposed to pick us in Fansipan cable car station but we took the wrong one. The hotel didn’t blamed us and willing to absorb the cost. The room deco & cleanliness are super!! It is equivalent to 5 star hotel standard for sure!!! The location is near town centre, but quieter and less dusty. I strongly recommend whoever wish to come Sa Pa to stay at this hotel.

I'm at a loss for words at how amazing my stay was at Sapa Relax Hotel & Spa. The hotel is relatively new and my girlfriend and I took a bit of a risk booking a room here. We were not disappointed! The accommodations were very clean, beautiful, and modern. The complimentary breakfast was delicious (not mediocre like many other hotels in Vietnam). The staff was incredibly friendly and treated us with great warmth. We felt as though we were more than just regular hotel guests. Anything we needed, they provided--including recommendations on activities to do around town. We were able to get massages right in the hotel and left the spa feeling like a million bucks. The view of the terraced mountains from our bedroom balcony was breathtaking. I only wish I could give this hotel 6 stars! This is the gold standard for hotels in Vietnam, and VERY reasonably priced!! Do yourself a favor and book your stay here when you are in Sapa. I definitely will again whenever I am back in town.

Spacious, clean room (triple room with balcony) with beautiful decoration and exceptional view. The employees are few but very helpful and friendly. It was such a bargain for the money. The only disadvantage is that the surrounding neighborhood is building so it is quite noisy and dusty. By the way, Muong Hoa st is an one-way so the cabs will have to go a further way to reach the hotel hence we usually choose to walk from Cau May st instead.

I stayed here for one day and left my bags while I did the ha Giang loop in the north. The stay was so good with such a scrumptious buffet breakfast, quite a treat after travelling in hostels where the best breakfast you can expect is a pancake. The mattresses are comfortable and morning view wonderful. I liked the staff very much and stayed here when I got back from the loop. I stayed two nights in a shared dorm and then left to get a private room but actually came changed my mind and came back to the hotel to use their private room. It was the best sleep if had in ages. Highly recommend this spot.

Our room is on fourth floor with private balcony so we can clearly see Muong Hoa valley and Fansipan mountain, The room is big with twin bed .. that is very comfortable.. . the bathroom is modern and convenient for using with bathstub... The lunch on restaurant SAPA SKY VIEW is so tasty .. We love to sit on this nice restaurant that may be the best place in Sapa to enjoy fresh air and outdoor table is the best choice to enjoy the amazing view of Sapa .. We really love this hotel !!!

We stay here for 2 nights, arrived early from overnight train we were tired but understood if the hotel were fully booked then the early they can provide the room will be noon, we got in submit check in voucher, drop off our bags went out for breakfast, walk around then massage, when we back at noon room iris ready! What a beautiful comfortable room, staff are friendly, everyone of them. Food was simple but ok for breakfast, whenever I request they try to do their best for me. The Receiption lady really sweet & polite, the guy is very friendly fun & a bit crazy which make you laugh all day :) the hotel also provide trekking tour but we didn't join any, will back for that and recommend my friends & family to stay. Saw some rude guest yell at the Receiption complain can't early check in at 7am, reason for complain because they have babe with them, babe need sleep,then if that's so important they should pay for extra day for early check in but not yell at the staff!!! Also during that two days, these ladies with babe created a lot of noisy, on the day check our I was talking to Receiption arrange a van back to train station. ( hotel can help you booked van left at 5:30 back to town get train) the lady was come out ask me to speak very very quietly because her babe is sleeping at lobby public area.. Again if you plan to travel with babe want comfort then please pay extra, do not ask people to speak whispering in public!

Booked from 21st to 24th Jan'19 and absolutely enjoyed the stay at Hotel. Nice and clean room, professional and friendly staff. Gave pretty good advice on saving money and suggesting convonient tours suitable to enjoy with a 3 yr toddler. Located quite well. Booked mountain view room but as weather was all foggy couldnt say how was the view (not a fault of hotel). Only things could have beeb better are Wifi and shower. Wifi was very weak in tje room could be room to room basis and shower was fluctuating between cold and hot water. Best part was the room inverters which kept the room cozy warm when outside temp was 4 degree. Thumps up for the hotel.

We had the best stay at this hotel in Sapa. My main reason for picking it was so we'd be away from the noise of the main town of Sapa and as this hotel is right on the outskirts it definitely delivered. The scenery is incredible overall but the views from the rooms is beautiful. If the day is foggy well there is nothing you can do but on sunny days...Wow. Breakfast was so good, the buffet had anything even for the pickiest of eaters. Eggs, ham, fresh baguettes, pancakes, fried rice, Pho, little sweet cakes, veggies, cheese, fruit, coffee, tea, seriously we were not expecting it to have so many options so that was a big bonus. The rooms are super clean and had all the little amenities (comb, toothbrush +paste, shower cap, ect) hairdryer in the room, fast wifi, motorbike rental on site, laundry services (everything came back fresh and clean) and mostly the staff always tried to be super helpful in any way they could. So, so nice. We didn't bother to ask about tours from the hotel and such because there are 2 places in town run by local Hmong women (Sapa Sisters & Sapa O'Chau- highly recommended) and we wanted to use either one of them so we just went directly to the tour offices and inquired there. We meant to stay 2 nights and stayed 5. Went on a tour left our luggage here & returned everything a ok. Only one morning, there weren't too many guests so they asked us to choose one thing from the menu and we were a bit disappointed but then again we eat a lot and there are tons of places to grab extra breakfast at nearby. This did not affect our opinion of this beautiful, clean new hotel. We would return and highly recommend staying here. We had friends who stayed more into town and they hated it- they should have stayed here! Wish we could have stayed here longer!

I barely can describe how much we liked the staff of this hotel. They contributed so much to making our Sapa stay being the best through out our two weeks journey in Vietnam. They are friendly like nothing we've experienced before, no matter what situation they make you feel like you're one in the family deserving the best care. The hotel is just five minutes away from the city center but this makes it much more calm/relaxed/quite. The view from your room and from the resturant balcony is something spectacular. We actually sometimes just stayed on the balcony for an extra coffee just to imbibe the view of the mountains and the rice paddies. Stunning to say the least. I would recommend this hotel to absolutely everyone.

The hotel is located in the end of road before entering cat cat village and just few minutes walk to market or center. I and my friends think the location is the best because we never heard loudly honk which make us crazy. The reception was nice and helpful. We can booked the mini van to pick up and send us back to train station which take around 1.30hrs and cost$3/trip. When we arrived hotel early morning, we can use the common restroom near front desk to fresh-up, and check-in time at 11.00 wasn't our problem. Last thing, Free internet was also impress us while staying there.

Absolutely loved our time at Sapa Memory. The hotel was clean, great rooms in a quiet central location. One of the best aspects was Ngo on the front desk. He went out of his way to help us arrange transport and then gave us his number so that when we were out and about we could contact him if we had any difficulties. Thank you Ngo your hotel is fortunate to have you representing it. We recommended this hotel to everyone we met.

We booked the 4 pax suite for 3 days and 2 nights during December 2014. The weather was really cold and the room has a fireplace which was really awesome. The hotel is clean and tidy. The hotel is situated 5 minutes walk from the main market (not too near, not too far). The location is good as it's really quiet and not located on the main street which could be quite noisy from people's interaction. The private balcony for 4 pax suite is shared with other users (not really private) but the view looking over Sapa terraces is really good. If the weather is good, you can see the sun rises up from the mountain. Breakfast is provided but we can only choose 1 option (not buffet style) which is something I don/t like. The breakfast portion is small and limited. I preferred to eat my lunch and dinner at the market which is much more affordable and delicious. This hotel is located near the Cat Cat village which is a MUST- GO tourist attraction. There are a lot of "Not Genuine" Northface shops around. The best deal shop is located at Cat Cat village. ****** Blackout is quite common at Sapa. I was even trapped in the lift for 1 minute. Not the hotel's fault as the entire Sapa is affected.
