My stay in Apo View Hotel located at the city center of Davao was a great pleasure for me. I have made the right decision to chosed this hotel inspite the room rate but it's worth it. Safety measures has been practiced from the time i arrived in the hotel till i left. Hotel staff were all smiling, accomodating, never you gonna feel that you are stranger on that place. ...My stay in Apo View Hotel located at the city center of Davao was a great pleasure for me. Hotel staff were all smiling, accomodating, never you gonna feel that you are stranger on that place. Hospitality is the best selling point of the hotel coming from the natives of Davao's. All parts of the hotel were cleaned and properly arranged especially the room itself. And given a chance that i'll be back in Davao, i don't have the second thought of cosing Apo View Hotel again.....Thank you much guyz...job well done....

One of the best experiences in Davao was our stay in Seda Abreeza....really enjoyed my stay in Davao coz of my comfortable stay in Seda. After the tiring day in strolling around Davao, we had a nice stay in our hotel, very comfy,friendly staffs,walking distance to Abreeza mall is a plus,and my 3 year old son also enjoyed our first visit in Davao. Honestly,before I booked in a hotel the reviews really help me,BUT good thing I also use my instincts...coz I also read bad comments,like small pool,small lobby,small dining area,even the bathroom,small room,,,what more do you expect, you can't please everyone and some people are very perfectionist...Comparing the hotel to expensive hotels in Manila?! Duh! Sometimes, think also the price of your hotel, don't expect too much if the hotel is affordable....if you're a perfectionist costumer, pay a hotel worth 20k per night,and when it's not worth it, that's the time for you to complain...😝 I will definitely go back there with my family again! Oh my God!!! The food was great and with lots of options to choose from.

Location is very good for tourism, close to People's Park and Pasalubong Center (you can leisurely walk to and from these spots). It is also close to the terminal station going to Philippine Eagle Center and Malagos Resort. The Room is very good for tourism purposes within Davao City, however if you're looking for a business trip you might want to look at Apo View and Marco Polo for more ameneties. If you're looking to add a Samal day tour, the port is rather far from the hotel so you either have to do an overnight stay in Samal or wake up very early. The hotel also offers to keep your valuables safe even after checkout so you can tour the city, if you have an evening flight, without having to carry around your belongings (Very useful if you're planning to maximize your stay in Davao)

I'm a budget traveller and, so far, this was the best place I've booked where breakfast was a big plate of food and tasted great. Recommendation to the staff: degunk the shower head. Water pressure was not that good. Will definitely book here again.

The bathroom includes a bath tub which needed to have another look specifically the water stopper because it wasn't really working well. I would have wanted to enjoy a hot tub but I couldn't save water. I didn't bother to call and have it fix during my stay as I was already tired to wait for someone to take a look at it -- so this is for your future guests. Overall, it's worth the money staying at TRMH. Thank you.

When it comes to the restroom, they have a shower heater as well and it is also clean and spacious thou. The only one that is disappointing is the breakfast for it is not that enough for a fullbreakfast meal. But aside form that everything is nice and very good. They have a cctv camera that monitors the lobby and the location is very accesible specially when you're in a city tour. It is easy to get a cab or tricycle. We will definitely comeback to this hotel when we go back in Davao.

With 2 twin beds, there was plenty of room for my girlfriend's family to stay overnight a couple of times. The breakfast buffet had different food each day, so I never got tired of the same old thing. The restaurant by the pool was very convenient. We could swim, go order our dinner, swim some more, eat dinner when it was ready, then swim again after eating. I was satisfied with the quality of food in both hotel restaurants. Wi-fi was not available after the power outages, but the business center has a Linux computer for guests to use. The center also has an ethernet cable if you prefer to use your own laptop. The staff was helpful and friendly. On my second morning, I went downstairs and asked for my breakfast buffet ticket so I could go eat. The lady at the desk handed it to me and my name was already hand-written on it. So I guess she knew my name. I was impressed. I plan to visit Davao again and I plan to stay at Grand Men Seng again. And I would recommend this hotel to a friend.

For the budget conscious they have fan rooms not advertised which i changed too for $10 a night for a double it is a shared bathroom which has about 5 showers but hey well worth it.still have wifi just no tv

Alu hotel is very conveniently located at the Davao city center. Just beside the hotel is a coffee shop and several restaurants you can choose from. A few blcoks away is the aldevinco shopping center where you can buy sarongs, malongs, and a lot more locally made products. A few more blocks away are fruit stands where you can buy all the different fruits locally grown ...Alu hotel is very conveniently located at the Davao city center. Just beside the hotel is a coffee shop and several restaurants you can choose from. A few blcoks away is the aldevinco shopping center where you can buy sarongs, malongs, and a lot more locally made products. A few more blocks away are fruit stands where you can buy all the different fruits locally grown in davao. So even if i was just there for a day, i was still able to buy some stuff for my family and friends back home. The hotel also has easy access to public jeepneys and cabs so going aRound davao wont be a problem. I would definitely come back there again. I just wasnt able to eat the breakfast provided with my booking coz my flight left at 6am. I asked the receptionist if they would be Able to provide my breakfast at an earlier time but they wouldnt allow it. But the price i paid for my stay was definitely worth it.

It wasn’t ice cold but it wasn’t warm enough to be relaxing. All this wouldn’t be a problem if it was a cheap hotel (like the hotels in the 750-1000 peso range). But for a hotel in this price range I expected better.

Internet /wifi was spotty and not very fast. On my first day, they gave me a green mat and a spotted bathmat that seemed of questionable cleanliness. I had them replaced and only when I asked for it did they give me nicer thicker white bath mats. For the same price, I could get breakfast at other davao hotels, but, here, breakfast was not included. For a neatfreak like me, all in all, it wasn't that bad, but it wasn't that good either.

For me it was still a good location, good value for money, clean rooms and helpful staff my only concern was the water, we have hard time taking a bath since the water in the faucet and shower was too little we are in room F30 by the way and it is located in 3rd floor. But over all I still want to stay here again if ever I’ll visit Davao again... During my stay at Linmarr Davao Hotels and Apartelles, it was overall nice experience since the staff their are smiling and friendly. They just have to look into improving some of their facilities like air condition switches and the lights near the bed. But all in all, it was a very nice and comfortable stay. Don Manaloto, the General Manager, is hands-on in the operation of the hotel-- one major factor why service is excellent. Every staff goes out of his way to provide total guest satisfaction. The location is best for guests who would like to be "far from the maddening crowd" yet close to the activity centres of the city. I commend Ronald who drove us around the various destinations in Davao City and also Abby, the Front Office Manager, who has trained her front-liners to always wear a smile and patiently attend to the requirements of the guests. I recommend this place to everyone-- value for money, a three-star facility with a five-star service excellence. I hope to be back for the Kadayawan 2016 event this August.

That, of course, was by no means the hotel's fault and just goes to show that this hotel is most ideal for those who appreciate all things out of the ordinary. The walls of the corridors are covered floor to ceiling in photographs, paintings and sculptures. Not everyone may appreciate the artwork, but the experience of seeing them and how they turn the entire hotel into an art gallery is in itself engaging. The rooms are spartan but at the price they are offered at with breakfast included in the room rate, it is all beyond reasonable. Front desk staff may seem a tad shy but they immediately attend to guest's needs. The owner's sister responded to our email inquiries and she was a delight to correspond with. She even gave us a free room upgrade. Pizza at the restaurant was served with slices of Davao sausages, a flavor profile as unique as the hotel itself. All things considered, value for money is beyond compare.
