My girlfriend and I had an absolute blast in this hotel. The view is unbeatable. An amazing view from our balcony overseeing the hills, mountains and rice fields! We had a big sized bathtub overlooking the rice fields! The breakfast buffet was good, but I think they need more variety. The ROOFTOP bar is awesome too! It has a very nice view! I really recommend this hotel for couples. It is a 5 minute drive to Cat Cat village so it is also convenient. It is not near the city center, but if you pay 30-40k a taxi will take you there in less than 10 minutes.

This is a new hotel with a mixed style: modern and vintage, located in a quiet area within a walk distance to the city center. The hotel is carefully designed and decorated, offering a pleasant and cosy feeling upon very welcomed arrival and during the stay. Quite spacy balcony with fantastic view over Cat-cat tourist valley. Overall, the hotel is good and strongly recommended,, except for the following shortcomings: - there is no central cooling/heating in the room, which is standard for hotels of 4-5 stars, but an ordinary air conditioner. - there is no bath tub in the bathroom, - bad smell in the bathroom and balcony, probably due to the drainage system which may be properly designed or built. - breakfasts were somehow poor.

Our trip to Sapa was made amazing by our stay in SilkPath. We took an overnight train from Hanoi to Lao Cai and arrived in the hotel at 0700hrs. While it was full house, the hotel was kind enough to let us use the shower facilities to freshen ourselves in the morning before heading out for the adventure in Sapa. Everyone was so warm and nice from the reception staff to the porter and to the restaurant staff. Waldo was superb in arranging all our needs from transportation to pick up, and sharing tips on travelling in this beautiful town. Not to mentioned, that the GM Steve was very helpful and nice in ensuring that our stay and visit was all in order. Kudos to the team for having such a exemplary leader. This has to be one of the best hotel we have stayed in and will definitely be back! Well done SilkPath team! Truly 5 star!

I am always on the hunt for a five star hotel with three star pricing. If that is you too, look no further! We booked the suite that is on the sixth floor with two balconies and two walls that are floor to ceiling glass. It was stunning overlooking Fansipan Mountain. The central location can't be beat. Breakfast which was included was excellent and the staff was superb. Mr. David and Mr. Kim were amazing and arranged our drive from the train station and back. They also arranged a private car that took us to see the Hmong and Cat Cat villages. The driver was great! He stopped for every picture and trek we wanted. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Happy traveling!

This was a very quick last-minute booking and fortunately I enjoyed my stay! The hotel is located slightly up on a hill - you need to go up the stairs near the station and then up some more on a slight slant. Perhaps not great for those who are disabled or have mobility problems, but then again I suspect you wouldn't be in Sapa if you did? Staff are very professional and the young lady with the glasses (sorry I forgot her name) was very friendly. Very intelligent lady who was able to offer me insight about Sapa and the ethnic minorities (even info like how many of them have access to free education, yet choose not to utilize it). Never had the breakfast as I slept in, but it is provided at the sister hotel across. The room was very spacious (1 large bed, 1 single bed) with tasteful cushions. Ample space to leave personal belongings, a vanity desk and clean bathroom. A very functional and practical room that was kept very well. Would recommend!

My family (two young toddlers and my wife) and I spent two nights at Amazing Hotel in Sapa on 21st and 22nd of Sept 2018. I can only warmly recommend this hotel. Hotel is super clean (it is a 4 stars), good facilities (they have a swimming pool on the roof-top with an amazing view over the mountain), staff are friendly and helpful, breakfast is good, location is very central (near Sapa square) etc... Excellent hotel from my point of view!

I reserved here for three nights. After staying for two days, I decided to extend my stay for an additional week. The staff was outstanding with good English proficiency. They had a rental motorbike delivered to the hotel and I was able to keep it in the hotel garage. Walk to Cat Cat H'mong village, walk to town and the cable car train. Great sound-proofing and one of the best breakfasts in Vietnam! Everything is modern. I'd love to return!

This is our first visit to Sapa and we absolutely love the service of this hotel. The rooms are spacious and the staffs are friendly, English spoken. It is located a little further from the central town and it is what we are looking for, away from the busy noise and sound at night. There is slope to go up where could be difficult to carry luggage up but there is no issue to us. Best thing that we would love to mention is after our trekking in Sapa village, they offered us with temporary room to wash up before heading back Hanoi by bus and this is really awesome! Will definitely stay there again!

Highly recommend. The staff are so helpful and have a great knowledge of the area. It is only a couple of minutes walk from the restaurant strip and the views from our room were spectacular, even on an overcast day. We had 2 rooms booked. After check out they were not fully booked so they very kindly let us use one of the rooms until we had to get our evening lift down the mountain for our night train back to Hanoi. Their generosity did not stop there. They prepared us a picnic of baguettes with omelette, fruit and water for dinner on the train. We would definitely return to this hotel when coming back to Sapa. It is also on the road to Cat Cat village which is beautiful. Lao Cai is even more amazing but a much longer walk. Either leave early or be prepared to ride the back of motorbike or other transport on your return.

We booked a standard double room but, upon arrival without even asking they upgraded us to a superior. It was a beautiful clean room with a comfortable bed and mountain view. Staff was super friendly and spoke very good English. The breakfast was amazing with so much variety and the wifi always had good connection. The location was right by the city centre and walking distance to lots of restaurants and shopping. We dicided to visit Cat Cat village on our own with out a guide and it was super easy, we even walked there from the hotel and it took only 30 minutes. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did. Oh! Also, watch out for the children and women trying to sell you souvanirs. They are very agressive and if you talk, look or smile at them they will not leave you alone. On that note, If you do plan on visiting Cat Cat village, there are many beautiful home made things to buy and your supporting the village and families as well. Good luck and great travels!

Hotel is clean, location is nice away from busy road with traffic but just staircase away from the main street. Trang(the receptionist) is doing beyond her best. She helped us to plan for itinerary, book taxi to cat cat and ta van village and even borrowed us her own mobile phone for us when we visit cat cat village in case we cant reach the taxi driver. The breakfast is great! Like the mushroom omelette very much. Only negative is the hot water shower.. after 1 Person finish(within 5 mins) then the next one will need to wait for 20 minites for hot water

Fantastic experience. The hotel itself is a nice, clean and charming boutique hotel. The rooms are comfortable and the complimentary laptop in the room was definitely a plus. Best thing about the hotel though was the staff! They were so attentive and helpful. They organized my homestay and trip back to Hanoi, which made things super easy. I even needed to see a doctor and they called one to the hotel for me. Would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone going Sapa. I wish more hotels had the same level of service as this one. Special shoutout to the front office manager Nguyen Duc Tung. He was incredibley friendly and helpful. His recommendations and help booking everything previously mentioned truly made my stay in Sapa wonderful.

Very pleasant. Friendly reception staff. In-house tour facilitator coordinated day treks for us. English speaking guides, who were extrememly informative about local agriculture, customs of the minority tribal groups within the SaPa mountain region, places of interest (waterfalls, rivers), textiles, & advice regarding reasonable prices for souvenier items. Colourful markets, colourful people. Comfortably cooler atmosphere at a higher altitude. Lovely, arty, handicraft village set into a mountainside, high above the clouds.

Our family of 4 booked 2 connecting rooms on Christmas Day. But due to the power breakdown of Fansipan cable car, we decided to stay 2 nights, so that we can come again the next day. Luckily the rooms are available. The hotel reception & their staffs greeted us, friendly and provided taxi arrangements and also cable car tickets purchased. On one occasion, due to missed communication, the taxi driver supposed to pick us in Fansipan cable car station but we took the wrong one. The hotel didn’t blamed us and willing to absorb the cost. The room deco & cleanliness are super!! It is equivalent to 5 star hotel standard for sure!!! The location is near town centre, but quieter and less dusty. I strongly recommend whoever wish to come Sa Pa to stay at this hotel.

I'm at a loss for words at how amazing my stay was at Sapa Relax Hotel & Spa. The hotel is relatively new and my girlfriend and I took a bit of a risk booking a room here. We were not disappointed! The accommodations were very clean, beautiful, and modern. The complimentary breakfast was delicious (not mediocre like many other hotels in Vietnam). The staff was incredibly friendly and treated us with great warmth. We felt as though we were more than just regular hotel guests. Anything we needed, they provided--including recommendations on activities to do around town. We were able to get massages right in the hotel and left the spa feeling like a million bucks. The view of the terraced mountains from our bedroom balcony was breathtaking. I only wish I could give this hotel 6 stars! This is the gold standard for hotels in Vietnam, and VERY reasonably priced!! Do yourself a favor and book your stay here when you are in Sapa. I definitely will again whenever I am back in town.

Advantages : Very helpful staff, we can early check in without any charge and they have all necessary facilities. Not too far from town and you can walk to Cat Cat village from here. If you need to go to Fansipan, staff can buy cable car and train ticket for you. Moreover, mountain view is very stunning and breakfast is good. Cons : There are construction near by, so have some dust in room.

I absolutely am satisfied with my choice.. It was opposite good shops for shopping of clothing and apparels, we bought lots of bags included. This hotel is located in the locations where it is easily connected to all other parts of sapa. During my time, there are lots of construction going around but our place seems quiet. We slept in peace during our last few days of visit to Hanoi. Highly recommended. We were also allowed to check out early before we head out to cat cat village and the silver lining waterfall... The staff allowed us to use the bathroom below for bathing before we head back to Hanoi for our flight back home.

We arrived at the hotel around 7:00am after a tiring journey on Fansipan Express. We were greeted with hot cinnamon tea and a warm towel when we check-in at the counter. Unfortunately we were not able to get an early check-in as our room was not ready by that time. We went sight-seeing at Cat-cat Village and then walked to Lao Chai, it was a very tiring walk but we were amazed with the beautiful landscapes and friendly locals. We came back to the hotel around 4:00pm and our room was ready by then. Accommodation wise we were satisfied with the room. Big and clean room, nice view of Fansipan mountain just outside of the window. We sat at the balcony and enjoyed our coffee before we head to the shower. Nothing beats a cozy and comfortable room when you are dead tired from all the hiking. We stayed 4 nights at Chau Long Sapa II Hotel, and on the 5th day we had to wait for the late evening bus as our train from Lao Cai to Hanoi leaves at 9:00pm. It was raining the whole day and we spent the entire afternoon playing pool at the lounge. What a fantastic way to kill time as we have no where to go due to bad weather.

Excellent base to explore Sapa market and shops/restaurants up a quiet (and steep!) road away from the traffic. Hotel organised a variety of treks to the local villages and hill tribes including a return journey by minibus! Transfer to the station and train tickets back to Hanoi we're organised through the hotel, they booked us a much better cabin at a reasonable price compared to the one booked through our Hanoi hotel to get to Sapa! Also the transfer was cheaper than the minibus that picked us up at the train station on the way there , I think it's best to book this through the hotel both ways in advance. Hotel staff were helpful and friendly and spoke excellent English. Would have stayed longer if the weather had been better!

I and my husband had a good vacation at Azure hotel. A new hotel, everything are very clean, good and helpful staffs, good location (150m far away from the Square and Sun Plaza, easy to walk to Cat Cat village, just 2km from hotel). Especially we love the views from this hotel. It’s really beautiful: the big view, you will see all of the Muong Hoa valley with terraces field and villages. We’ll come back here in the next summer :))

The rooms here have private sitting balconies with a magnificent view of Mt Fansipan and its valley near Cat Cat Village. This hotel is quiet and away from any construction site. My room heater is super strong and is the best I have ever seen in Vietnam. Rooms are modern, bright, spacious, have comfy beds, strong Wi-Fi, good bathroom and clean, has an elevator serving every floor. The breakfast has much improved since my last stay in January of last year and is now a hot and sumptuous à la carte from a choice of 8. The owner of hotel is present everyday to ensure guest satisfaction, he is native to Sapa, very kind and friendly, used to be a tour guide and provides much information and services in good English.

I have booked a standard room. I arrived Sapa quite early with the train. And it is normal where the room is not ready such early in the morning at 8 am. I have rented a motorbike from the hotel with a good price and start my day in Sapa to nearby Cat Cat village. When we were back to the hotel at 10 am, the room still not ready yet. It is ok where the check in time is not so early for the hotel normally. So my wife and I ordered breakfast set, sitting outside the restaurant, enjoy our breakfast with great mount Fansipan in front of our eyes!! Wow!! So enjoyable!! Not only the view, but the alacarte breakfast set is just so delicious!! And we were so lucky that Mr.Luan upgraded our room to junior suite room with no extra charges as our standard room is still not ready. The room is big, nice view from the room straight to mount Fansipan!! The every each of the staff in the hotel speak English, and they are very helpful. They show we the way to sightseeing by motorbike, they recommend me which tracking trip we should join, and they show me how to get enjoy in Sapa. The daily breakfast is wonderful with fresh fruit juice with no added extra water. Some people said t is a bit far from the town. But for me it is just 10 mins walk and I could stay far from the traffic and busy town. Location is not an issue here. I am rarely give such high score for the hotel that I have stay. But H'muong Hotel worth all the star that I have given.

The hotel is located in the end of road before entering cat cat village and just few minutes walk to market or center. I and my friends think the location is the best because we never heard loudly honk which make us crazy. The reception was nice and helpful. We can booked the mini van to pick up and send us back to train station which take around 1.30hrs and cost$3/trip. When we arrived hotel early morning, we can use the common restroom near front desk to fresh-up, and check-in time at 11.00 wasn't our problem. Last thing, Free internet was also impress us while staying there.

Absolutely loved our time at Sapa Memory. The hotel was clean, great rooms in a quiet central location. One of the best aspects was Ngo on the front desk. He went out of his way to help us arrange transport and then gave us his number so that when we were out and about we could contact him if we had any difficulties. Thank you Ngo your hotel is fortunate to have you representing it. We recommended this hotel to everyone we met.

This hotel has definitely got the best value for money,They have been a great help in our trip, upgrading us to a mountain view room, allowing us to check in way before the check in time because we arrived early in the morning.The areas are nicely equipped, magnificent, with views that are great, beds and showers, TV, towels provided, blankets and sheets. We'd highly recommend this particular hotel to anyone planning to invest some time in Sapa.

We booked the 4 pax suite for 3 days and 2 nights during December 2014. The weather was really cold and the room has a fireplace which was really awesome. The hotel is clean and tidy. The hotel is situated 5 minutes walk from the main market (not too near, not too far). The location is good as it's really quiet and not located on the main street which could be quite noisy from people's interaction. The private balcony for 4 pax suite is shared with other users (not really private) but the view looking over Sapa terraces is really good. If the weather is good, you can see the sun rises up from the mountain. Breakfast is provided but we can only choose 1 option (not buffet style) which is something I don/t like. The breakfast portion is small and limited. I preferred to eat my lunch and dinner at the market which is much more affordable and delicious. This hotel is located near the Cat Cat village which is a MUST- GO tourist attraction. There are a lot of "Not Genuine" Northface shops around. The best deal shop is located at Cat Cat village. ****** Blackout is quite common at Sapa. I was even trapped in the lift for 1 minute. Not the hotel's fault as the entire Sapa is affected.

Chapa Dew is at the centre of Sapa so we had everything we need around the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful right at the check in and still beyond the check out time. We were quite sure ourselves to pay for the extra hours after the check out time, we just got to the reception to ask is our room was still available until 3 p.m and the staff told us that we could keep it till we leave Sapa without being charged because the new guests who use our room would come in the evening. Buffet breakfast was good and I enjoyed sitting at the table next to the window because it's like a small garden right outside. We were late for breakfast all the 2 mornings that we stayed in the hotel but the staff and the manager were so kind that they waited for us until we finished and we said we didnt want any thing else. (We were late because we enjoyed so much the early morning admiring the rice terraces from our bed since we had a mountain view and the window was so big that we just had to keep the curtains open and we could have the amazing view right at the moment we woke up). Our room was so spacious and clean as the hotel is quite new. The only disappointing thing is the noisy construction around the hotel but it's everywhere in Sapa centre so it's quite unavoidable unless you would like to stay in the ethnic village or in the new area of Sapa which are certainly far from the services. I would suggest this hotel to my friends who travel to Sapa in the future because we really have what we pay for.
