"I booked this hotel thinking it's a budget hotel since there is no Go Hotel in Cebu. We arrived the hotel and received a warm and friendly surprise. Since it's still early for their check-in time, they managed to make some rooms available especially for the senior citizen in my travel party. This allowed us to relax before we continue our tour of the city. The budget rooms has the same size as Go Hotel (but the CR is different in feature). It's comfortable and comfortable. We will be back."

"This hotel is less than one year old on N Escario St, near the Provincial Capitol building, and also near Cebu Doctors' University Hospital. Upon check-in, and throughout my stay, the hotel staff was very friendly. The rooms were clean with firm bedding and air con. Comfort room had separate shower area with on demand hot water heater, (which worked very well). Standard western toilet w/out bidet. Bar/cafe downstairs in front of hotel for pleasant entertainment in the evening and the hotel offered free breakfast in the AM, which was adequate but not fantastic. Elevator lift was available, but somewhat small. A convenience store is in the lobby for snacks, drinks, and stuff you may have forgotten to pack. Staff was friendly and fun. The price was great, and I got an upgrade on one day at no additional cost, due to a booking error. I would certainly consider staying at the Maxwell Hotel again! Mabuhay!"

"it was one of the best hotel ive ever stayed. First of all, all the staffs were so kind and helpful. they smiled all the time and tried to do the best for customers. Even tho it was peak season, there were only 5-10 ppl in the pool. So,me and my family could have quiet and relaxed time. pool was maintained very well, floor and sun beds were so clean. and one thing I really liked was there was a shower room besides the pool so, we could use swimming pool before checking in (as we were arrived in cebu very early morning) room was big enough for two persons(standard room) and very clean. all the foods including breakfast were delicious and well priced. (probably better than foods outside) location was okay, takes only 5-10 mins to city centre by taxi. it may be the best value hotel in cebu city. "

"The best thing that I loved was the staff. All of them are super friendly and helpful. I've been to other Citadines hotels (Pasay), and they're always friendly. I'm new to cebu and I need information and they are always helpful. They gave me information on how to get around with the public transportation, and helped us find the events that are happening around cebu. They even called up some people to verify if they indeed have events. I would give them 5 stars just for the staff alone! The location is super nice. There is a quite big supermarket downstairs you can buy everything you need. There are also ATM machines at the lobby. In a short walking distance, you lots of restaurants from fine dining to affordable. Walk a bit further and you reach Fuente Circle which is a landmark and makes it easy to commute. Mango Square is near by with even more restaurants and evening entertainment. Breakfast was also great! They have a wide variety of phillipine food, breads and fruits. "

"M Citi Suites is located along Llorente street, an intersection just before reaching Fuente osmena (if you're coming from Jones' Capitol. It is new, well equipped, has fast service and even faster internet in the room (mine was at the 4th floor), very clean, huge spacious room, comfortable bed, clean bathroom, a restaurant with surprisingly delicious food. During weekends, they set up a stage at the parkway and acoustic bands play. It's a great location for tourists because you're just a block away from Jones (Osmena Blvd) and the Fuente Osmena. The place has lots of taxis even during the wee hours of the morning so going to the airport isn't a problem (the guard will call a taxi for you). I've stayed in several hotels in Cebu and this is one of my favorites."
